Sorry about the short chapters this is my first fan fiction.
"Hello young one." Halfleg mewed "What story do you want to hear today?". "How the clans were started!" the kit suggested. "Oh, one of my favorites." the elder replied. "A long, long, long time ago," the three legged tom started "there was a cat named Shell. Her sisters were Snow and Midnight and her brother was Desert." he continued. "They came across a river, a dark marshy forest, an snowy forest, and a desert." Halfleg mewed."They all wanted the territory so they decided to divide it up." Halfleg told the kit. "Soon they all started to search for members of their new clans." the elder continued. Shell came upon your great, great, great, great, great," he paused to take a breath "great, great grandfather near the star crystal." the elder told the young kit. Halfleg went on "Soon the clans were formed and built up so that they strong. And that was how the clans were formed." he finished. "Come back tomorrow." Halfleg called as the kit left the elder's den.
