Ok Guys so you decide on this one, one-shot or full story? Review to tell me! This is my first ffx so don't be brutal.
FFX-3What if sorrys not good enough this time?
Yuna sat alone in her room, tears streaking her already bloodstained face. He was back. She had risked her friends, her guardians and her own life to save him only to have him run, screaming, like any other guy because of his stupid fear of commitment. She'd thought he was different, special even.
She sighed, fresh tears pooling in her already overflowing eyes, threatening to leak over the edge as she thought about that fateful moment and how it had all happened. How the one guy she had ever truly loved left all because of her stupid, stupid heart.
Flashback
"T-Tidus?" She choked, overwhelmed by sudden emotion.
"Yeah, Baby," he replied as he run his strong fingers through her hair. She was so happy he was back. So happy they had saved him. So happy that the faith had allowed him to come home.
"Tidus, I love you. I know it in my heart and I know this feeling's true. You make me the happiest girl alive and I know without you I would never, ever have defeated Sin. We're meant to be Tidus. I know it in my heart." She was staring up at him expectantly, waiting for a reaction. The reaction she wanted, of course, was love. Love. She had waited so long for this moment, building up the courage. He was her rock, her hero, her everything. She so wanted him to say it back. But staring up at his blank, emotionless face, she wasn't sure anymore. Had she done the right thing? She could see it in his features, feel it deep down inside her. She knew she was going to be disappointed by him one last time.
Tidus, of course, said nothing to her. He carried on, stroking her hair kissing her pale forehead as if nothing had happened. The next morning, she woke up to find him gone and not just from her bedside. He had vanished. Forever.
Or so she had thought. Now, he was back. According to Rikku, anyway. Ever since she had heard he was back, Yuna had stayed in her room, refusing to leave or acknowledge anyone other than Rikku. The only one she felt she could truly trust anymore. The only one not pushing her to give Tidus a second chance. She had not even left to wash the blood of her face, spattered from the poor fiends they had encountered along the way.
Rikku had told her that Tidus had shown up with the full works. He had chocolates, flowers and even a defence ring for when she was out battling or sphere hunting. They all said he was heard to be confessing his love to her over and over again, saying he was sorry for all the pain he had caused. But that wasn't enough. There was nothing at all to say that he was telling the truth. He left before and could do it again. She was so confused. Maybe he had changed. He had said he was sorry, which was a first. Maybe…
No! Don't give in, she told herself. She had to stay strong.
Sorry just wasn't good enough this time. Not for him.
