A/N1: So this is Beetee's reaction to the idea and Katniss's reaction to the idea of a final Hunger Games. I also have one like this with Peeta, called Peeta's Reaction, if you want to read more of these things.

Disclaimer: I do not own the Hunger Games trilogy. It all belongs to Suzanne Collins, with whom I have no affiliation. This is for entertainment purposes only, and I receive nothing but self satisfaction from writing this. The peace activist is Mahatma Gandhi, and I also don't own any of his words.

A peace activist once said "an eye for an eye only ends up making the whole world blind."

How is a final Hunger Games going to help us move on?

We claim to be better than Snow. We claimed that we were only unleasing deadly weapons on civilians because we needed to win this war, and that we wouldn't resort to it again. We said that there wouldn't be any more Hunger Games.

"No," I said adamantly, "we need to stop this cycle of violence. If we continue with this, then how would we be any different from Snow?"

"I vote..." Katniss started to say, and I held my breath.

We need change and to revert to the actions of ancestors.

In the old world, dying for your country was honorable. If you gave your life to save someone - whether it was family, friend, enemy or stranger - was also very honorable.

In the old world, murder was considered the worst of crimes, no matter what country. If you committed murder, your life was, in a sense, over. You were either executed or locked up for life.

In the old world, life, especially those of children, was cherished.

In the old world, execution was taken very seriously. The person that was given the death penalty had multiple chances to argue it.

Back then, you a got a second chance. You were given the benefit of the doubt. You weren't punished for something that your family or country did.

For 75 years, that never happened. The government killed people for the sack of it. Everyone, especially children, was treated like animals. You were punished for the actions that others did 75 years ago. An execution happens, and no one blinks.

And no one is given the benefit of the doubt.

We have the chance to change all of this.

We have the chance to no longer judge people for what they have done in the past.

We can look forward to a better future for us and the future generations.

If Katniss says no, then Panem will no longer be this tyranny.

A vote of no will give us a clean start.

"...yes - for Prim," she finished.

How is this for Prim? I may not know her, but I know that she wanted to be a doctor. She chose a life of healing and alleviating pain, not causing it. Prim also dealt with having her sister in the Hunger Games, twice. She thought that Katniss would die, and she saw how much people were saddened by this. She wouldn't want to inflict this pain for some other family.

Why would Katniss do this? She herself has said that it wasn't right to punish innocent children for the actions of someone else. How is this any different? Why would she subject this to 24 other people?

I hope that Haymitch will make the right decision.

A/N2: So what did you think? Please rate and review!

Also, do you think I should do another fanfic about this with another character? (I've already done Peeta).

I don't think that any of these genres fit this, but if you think different, could you please tell me which one?

Feel free to point out any mistakes, big or small.

Thanks for reading!
