Nobara X Yushin
I've never done a story from this Anime before so forgive me if it isn't to your liking, I try my best to please.
Chapter 1
Walking home from school one day with Ayako, I noticed that we were going the wrong way.
"Oh, I wanted to stop by Yushin's house to see him." Ayako said.
"Why would you want to go see him for?" I barked. I don't see why she has to take me with… I hope it's not what I think it's going to be about…I thought to myself.
"I want to tell him that I like him and give him.." She reached into her bag and pulled out a bear with a volleyball shirt on, "This." She smiled as she held onto it, giving the bear a loving squeeze as she thought about the boy who Nobara liked.
Nobara was shocked. One of her best friends in love with the boy she was in love with.. could this get any worse.
When we arrived at the apartment I could feel my heart pounding inside my chest like someone was just bouncing a volleyball off of it. I could hear the thumping getting louder and louder in my ears until Ayako rang the doorbell, startling me.
A woman opened the door and welcomed us in, I assumed it was Yushin's mother.
She fetched Yushin and he came out of his room, music blasting from inside as he closed his door and walked to the living room to greet us.
He looked as if he ad saw a ghost when he looked at me and then Ayako.
"Oh, Yushin!" Ayako blushed as she saw him and stood up, walking towards him.
He looked at her with a raised brow, "What did you girls want?" Yushin sounded kind of demanding.
"I wanted to give you this bear…" Ayako blushed more while holding her hand up to her cheek as if she were trying to act cute or something, "I heard you liked girls with short hair so I was wondering if you would go out with me?" She flicked her hair, trying to get Yushin to notice how short it was.
I, Nobara Sumiyoshi, was not going to get upset over something like this! No way! I am a bigger person and I'll find someone else, who cares…? It's not like I was in love with him or anything…
"Go out… with you?" The young man looked at Ayako a little confused as he looked at the teddy bear in his hands. Then he looked at me as if I wanted to say something, to see if I was upset or if I would be upset if he accepted this offer. So I just glared at him and shrugged.
We're enemies, we are never going to be lovers what was I thinking…
With that Yushin grunted and glared back, then turned to the giddy girl infront of him and nodded with a grin "Sure, I'll go out with you Ayako."
My heart sank into my volleyball sneakers while Ayako squealed with joy that she is finally going out with Yushin. I didn't hear the end of it while I walked home with her and in that time I had to keep up the act that I was okay with it and that I was not upset.
But as soon as I got into my room I flopped on my bed and poured my heart out onto my pillow. My one true love is my worst enemy… and now one of my best friends is going out with him...
