NotaPunk- *glare* Anyway, as my first story I'm writing this for my sister, fallenange261, for helping me figure this out, so I'm writing a LeeSaku story for you!
Violet- NotaPunk doesn't own Naruto or any of the characters used here, she does not even own this computer she's typing on.
Forever
I awoke to the sound of my boyfriend's light breath against my ear. I turned around in his strong arms to face him, Rock Lee. As I stared at him I started to remember how we met and how I treated him all those years ago.
I was a child then and only thought about how someone looked. At first I didn't believe he would fulfill his promise, that he was like the few other guys that had ever confessed to me, but then he surprised me in the forest of death when he came to save me, risking his own life, for me. Someone he barely even knew, someone that was so rude to him, someone that he had promised to protect forever.
He, Rock Lee, had given me, Haruno Sakura, the strength that day to change, to become stronger, to stop being the damsel in distress.
Two years passed after that and I still only saw him as a friend, he still liked me but had calmed down over the years, I was glad about that. After Sasuke left, Lee was the one to comfort me when Naruto ran that day to try to get him back. And when Naruto left it was Lee's arms I cried in. That day was different though, that day Lee needed to be comforted.
The day that his teacher, his best friend, his "father", Maito Gai, had been badly injured on a "S" class solo mission. Gai had singled handedly fought off ten rogue ninja only to be impaled several times by their leader. The medics came just in time to take him to the hospital where all of us awaited to hear about our comrade.
Several hours into surgery out came Shizune, she took Lee to the side and they exchanged muttered words. That's when we all heard Lee angrily yell "Do whatever it takes to keep him alive!" Shizune then just calmly nodded and walked back into the surgery room. Lee was then left shaking violently. I slowly walked over and gently placed my hand on his trembling shoulder.
Lee the wrapped his arms around me tightly, his head laying on my shoulder. His body was trembling even more then before and I could feel his hot, tears wetting my shirt. I wrapped my arms around him. After a while he calmed down and lessened his grip only slightly.
"He can't die. He just can't." Lee choked out. With out noticing it my hands had cupped his cheeks and had made him look at me. Now I was staring into his large coal black round eyes.
"He won't" I promised, I then slide my hands off his face and did a thumbs up. Lee only smiled lightly at this. Until that moment I never knew how much that smile meant to me. How much Lee meant to me. A month after Gai had gotten out of the hospital, I asked Lee out.
That was three years ago and here we are in Lee's bed after a night of sweet love making. I kept staring at the man I love when I was shocked to hear his voice.
"Sakura?" He asked, eyes still closed.
"Yes?" I was expecting to hear him ask 'Why are you staring at me?' or 'Why are you up so early?'
Lee moved to sit up in bed looking at me with a calm smile and asked " Will you be my wife? I promise to protect you forever."
I could only stare at him for what seemed to be forever before I finally tackled him. When I finally was on top of him, straddling his waist, I looked deep into his eyes and said " Yes."
Lee then grabbed my naked waist and turned me over, and kissed me so passionately but so gently, that I thought back to my twelve year old self and could only think 'Forever'
