She walked through the fields of daisies silently. Enjoying the early morning sun tingle at her cold skin, as the sun began to slowly lick the earth awake with its warm sun rays peaking from the mountains. Today was the day, she knew that much. She would marry the man that her father deemed worthy for his daughter, and that her mother adored for her. It wasn't her choice to marry the cold hearted corporate business vice president of the Uchiha lineage. But, for her father, continuing business relationships were important. It was so important that he would risk his daughter's happiness to save his business form filing bankruptcy.
The Uchiha Corporation was in competition with the Haruno Corporation since her grandfather established the company. Although their relations have been fair over the past 30 years, there have been developing pressures for a merger to occur between the two businesses. Her father being a bit old fashioned, along with the current president of the Uchiha Corps believed that this merger should be through marriage to insure good relations between the two joined companies in the future. Much to her dismay, she was the only child from her father, who happened to be the current president of the Haruno Corps. Also, in the Uchiha Corps, the current president Fugaku also had two sons. However the eldest one, is already married, but denied inheriting the company. So, the only choice was to marry off his youngest, who would eventually inherit the company and the role as CEO of Uchiha Corps.
Although she would not inherit the position to run her father's company, since she chose to pursue the medical field, her father believed that if the with the merger, at least it will still remain in the family, and a greater growth of the company could occur.
So, this lead to where her predicament put her now, hours away from getting ready to marry a cold hearted man she did not love.
