Taking Over Asgard
Disclaimer: I do NOT own Marvel or Loki, Odin, or Asgard because if I did, I would spend my days with the Hiddles ;)
Loki was closing in on the throne room. His pace quickened and the distance shortened in record time. He opened the golden doors to the grand throne room. The god of mischief displaced himself from the giant archway of the door to the golden, glowing stairs of the throne. Odin himself sat atop the magnificent throne. He looked upon Loki with distaste, his liquid gold colored eye rolled.
"Just what are you playing at, old man?" Loki screamed to his adoptive father.
"What is it now, Laufeyson?" Odin responded with boredom.
"You know damn well what you have done! You banished her! The only person besides mother I ever loved! For what has she done to this kingdom?!" His eyes gleamed with unshed tears.
"Oh, that," Odin stood with his scepter in hand. "she betrayed us."
"She had no choice! Without telling Maliketh about your whereabouts, she would have died!" Loki moved at the speed of light up the stairs, his hand closed around the throat of the All-Father, lifting him from the ground.
The scepter of the king clambered on to the marble floor in front of their feet.
"You will NEVER banish ANYONE I love EVER AGAIN! Do you understand, old man?" Loki screamed through his teeth.
Odin sputtered, trying to escape Loki's vice like grip. His hands were risen to his own neck, clawing and grasping at Loki's hand. His grip loosened suddenly and his hands fell to his sides as his head lolled back.
Loki released his grip on Odin's neck and the great king crumpled to the ground at his feet. He sneered as he glanced down at the man that was once his father. His faced turned into an ugly smirk as he stared down at the man at his feet. Loki kicked Odin to side and snickered evilly.
Looking to the right of where Odin lay unconscious, his scepter rested on the stairs leading to the throne. Loki snorted in disgust at the old man as strolled over to pick up the scepter. As he picked it up, a power swept throughout his whole being at a speed unbeknownst to most mortals. Loki staggered on his feet, getting used to the surges of power now coursing through his veins.
"You see this, father?" He spat. "This is your end!"
He pointed the scepter forcefully at Odin. A light filled the room and his hands were entrapped in locked shackles.
"Let's see a year in solitude treats you." He ground out.
Loki then thought of the slave lands of Azaroth. Another light flashed throughout the room and Odin was gone without a trace.
"Now on to other business." Loki was then gone from the throne room and reappeared in the kingdom's armory. Quickly, he killed the guards with one swipe.
He spotted his target as soon as he walked in: one of the aircrafts the guards used for transport. Loki climbed in and turned it on with Odin's scepter. He hurried out into the open air of Asgard. The aircraft accelerated at record speed, it changed its velocity towards the Bifrost.
"I'm coming, my queen."
