A/N:
As much as I love Cordelia and Frederick, their S-Support makes me weep like a gigantic baby because I love Frederick and he is my husband. Don't worry, I'll write something happy soon.

I left Chrom's wife vague. It was suppose to be written as Olivia but I'll leave it up to your interpretation as well.

It was just about dusk when her eyes open and she awakened from her sleep. Falling back asleep would be impossible now, she decided as she sat up, brushing the strands of hair that fell in front of her face away. She should at least try and get ready for the day.

Her eyes glanced over at the body that was still asleep next to her. Surprisingly, Frederick was still asleep; normally it was him that would be up at this time, tending to Chrom's needs.

Chrom...

How silly of her to still be in love with a married man, when she herself was engaged. It was sickening. She had thought these feelings would have passed by now. There's no way she could be with someone who sold his heart to another.

And yet, here she was. Her thoughts were of him. How she wanted to be held by him, how she wanted to be his wife. She had so much bitterness towards his current wife that she felt sick to her stomach.

She loved Frederick, that was no lie, but she wondered if she loved him. Did she love him the same way she loved Chrom?

He knew she still had feelings for the Exalt. Anyone could see that. And yet, he loved her all the same. His proclaims of love were all truthful and when he pulled her into an embrace, nothing but warmth and trust emulated from him?

But her? Her proclaims of love were hollow and she was colder than ice. Her love laid somewhere else, somewhere with another man who did not share her feelings. The man her husband would give his life for.

And yet, he was still in love with her.

"Oh Gods..." A hoarse whisper left her mouth. She was nothing but a bitter, lying woman; a woman who held so much bitterness for the girl who rightfully won Chrom's heart. She did nothing but lie to the man she was suppose to marry. And on top of that, she'll never shake this unrequited love she held for her prince.

Cordelia felt like a monster.

She sobbed like a child, trying her best to keep her cries quiet so she wouldn't wake him up. She didn't deserve someone like him. He was someone who never complained about anything, did his best to protect the person he cared about the most, even if the woman he was to marry was still head over heels in love with him.

He deserved someone better. He deserved someone who truly loved him.

She was not that girl.

This facade was hurting the both of them; she had to end it right now.

"Cordelia," she turned to him, teary-eyed. He was still half-asleep, his hair all messy from tossing and turning. He looked so young with that confused look on his face, it was almost cute.

Almost like Chrom.

At that thought, she began to sob. He quickly threw his arms around her and rocked her as he held her. Her sobs were muffled when she buried her face against his chest. Frederick frowned as he ran his fingers through her red locks. He knew how much she was suffering. She knew he was suffering as well.

She wanted to see him happy, instead of wishing his soon-to-be-wife would love him one day.

Her voice was quiet as she calmed down and finally, she uttered the words she always wanted to tell him, even though they would be her last words to him.

"Thank you, for loving someone like me."
