Mello x Matt story

'Matt, I never thought you'd be killed. Forgive me. I'm sorry.' Mello shakes his head, as if to shake the bad feeling of guilt off him. He swallowes the lump in his throat and holds the tears back.
'I will defeat Kira for you, Matt. Then you won't have died for nothing.'
Mello puts his hand is his pocket, to find some chocolate. He finds it, but inside the wrapper there is a piece of paper. He opens it carefully, with one hand on the steering wheel. It's Matt's handwriting. It's a letter from Matt:

It happens tomorrow. I'm going to die. Yes, I knew, Mells. I wonder if they got computers and DS's in hell? It's there you and I are going, with all that shit, we've been doing. You have always been so certain about your faith, Mells. I wish I could do that. Believe in something blindly. Oh, yes, I believed in you, right? Beat Kira's ass for me. He can't win over us, right? Mello is sitting with a smile on his lips. Now he know, he can defeat Kira.
A couple of hours later, they're reunited.
