Ash woke up his alarm clock still ringing in his ears when he heard a knock out the door. He quickly got dressed and opened the door.

"Ash!" cried Dawn as she gave him a hug. What are you doing here," questioned Ash slightly confused that his friend came to visit.

"I had a contest and I decided to see you," replied Dawn welcoming herself in. "Ok well make yourself at home," replied Ash.

"I was just going to go to Gary's do you want to come?" "No thanks," replied Dawn sitting down. He had lied about going to gary's and instead cut straight into the forest filled with pokemon.

He had bean waiting for this. The day he was going to ask Dawn to marry him. He had known he loved her since they first met. "It was love at first sight" he thought to himself. By the time he was done planning it was around midnight.

Moonlight reflecting off the water, gleaming across the forest floor. He could see it now, her ocean blue eyes looking into his.

As he walked in to ask her to come outside he was shocked by what he saw. Gary and Dawn were on his couch kissing.

Dawn noticed him and said " I forgot to tell you me and Gary are dating,". Ash stood there in shock then quickly ran out the door.

"Ash if you're upset that I didn't tell you, were going to surprise you," said Dawn. "I loved you," Ash spoke.

Ash I'm sorry, I thought it was something you were going to get over. So you decided to forget it! You didn't think one minute about telling me you knew!

Ash began to speak louder as anger filled his veins. You know what just get out of my house and get away from me!

Gary and Dawn walked away into the forest as Ash walked quietly into his house. That's all there relationship was to her.

Just a forgotten love he thought.

Just a Forgotten Love.
