Disclaimer: Nope, don't own any Spiderman related-ness.
A/n: Ya, so this is a random scene inspired by the prompt "Photography", and my first ever Spiderman fic. A random scene similar to one in the movie, but alas, the only (admittedly rather unoriginal) thing I could come up with for the prompt "Photography", so forgive me. :P
"What d'you got, Parker?" barked J.J. "Make it quick, I don't have all day."
"More Spiderman photos, sir, as always." said Peter calmly as he held out a large brown envelope to his employer.
J.J. snatched the envelope from Peter's outstretched hand and proceeded to annoyedly flip through the pictures the envelope had contained. "Crap… crap… crap as usual. What the heck do I pay you for, Parker?"
"My photography." answered Peter in a bored tone that suggested he answered this question far too often. In fact, this particular scene played out every time J.J. was in a foul mood – which was nearly every other time Peter came in with pictures to hand in.
"Right. Since you shoot crap and you're not getting any better, you're fired. Go find a job where they like crappy pictures, Parker!" J.J. snapped and bit down on his cigar.
Peter rolled his eyes with an aggravated sigh and turned to leave the office.
One of J.J.'s male assistants conveniently leaned his head into the office at that moment to say, "We need a front page and the public wants more about Spiderman, Mr. Jameson."
This time J.J. was the one to roll his eyes and heave an irritated sigh. "Fine, Parker, you're rehired. We'll use your crap."
Peter hid a smile "Thank you sir."
"Now get the heck out of my office!"
Peter did so and as he exited, he and the assistant shared a smile and wink. "You're welcome – as always." The assistant said quietly. They both knew they would have to play the same scene over again in a few days.
-End-
A/n: Thanks for reading! Once again, just a random prompt-inspired scene, with no plot or continuation.
