"What do you want me to do, Val?" Jeff nearly shouted as he followed her into the curtained off tattoo area.

"I want you to want to marry me."

"Why?"

"Because!" Val rubbed her temples. "I don't want to be in a relationship that can't go to the next level. Face it, Jeff. We've peaked, and if you don't want to marry me then it's over."

"Okay." Jeff said. Val stopped in her tracks.

"Okay what?" she asked.

"Okay. Val," he knelt on the grungy carpet and took Val's hands. "Will you marry me?"

"Jeff--" Val gasped. "You mean it?"

"Of course I do! That's why I came with Holly. I still love you, Val. And even if you say no and get your tattoo at two o'clock in the morning, I will always love you."

Val, standing there in shock, didn't respond. Jeff took this as a no, and began to leave.

"No, wait, Jeff!" Val smiled. "Yes. Yes, I'll marry you, and I will love you until the day I die." She allowed him to envelope her into his arms, and they stood there for a little while, soaking up everything they had missed since their break-up.

"YES!!!" Holly cheered on the other side of the curtain. Val and Jeff opened the curtain and Holly nearly fell over. "Hellooo..." she grinned.

"Jeff and I are getting married!" Val yelled, and kissed Jeff.

A whirlwind of two months later, Val was married to Jeff. And they lived happily ever after.

Sorry to all Vick fans but I love Jeff for now.
