Hello, again! This is another short fic I came up with when I was bored. Short and to the point. My first "flashback" ficcy!
How Three Friends Met
Sora sat in the secret place, looking at the drawing Kairi and him had made.
It seems like such a long time ago…he thought to himself.
-Flashback Xseven years agoX
"Hey, Sora?" Riku asked him.
"Yeah?" he answered.
"You hear about the girl at the mayor's house?"
"Yes…hey, we should go visit her!"
"Okay!"
The next day they headed over to the mansion and knocked on the door. It slowly creaked open, and an old lady stood in the doorway.
"Hey, there!" Sora smiled.
"Hello. Can I do something for you boys?"
"Yep."
Riku questioned, "Is there a girl here? We heard one just moved here."
"Oh, my, yes! She would love to meet you two. She's been wanting to make some new friends…Come in."
They stepped inside and saw a little girl sitting on the floor, playing with her dolls.
She slowly looked up and her eyes grew wide, "Grandma…who are they?"
"They came to visit."
"Hi!" Riku exclaimed.
"Hi…" the girl said shyly.
"Who are you?" wondered Sora.
"…Kairi."
"That's a pretty name."
"Thanks…What are your names?"
Riku told her, "I'm Riku….and this is my friend, Sora."
"Wanna come play with us?" Sora invited her.
Kairi smiled a big smile, "Sure!"
…2 months later…..
One day they were playing in the sand on the beach. They had just finished a sandcastle.
"And the final touch…" Riku took a small leaf, placing it on the top, "The flag!"
"Yay!" Kairi cheered, "It's done!"
"Riku!" his mom called, "Come inside!"
Riku frowned, "…Sorry, guys…I have to go…"
"Bye, Riku…See you tomorrow!" Sora waved to him as he left.
"Bye!" Kairi shouted.
"Hey, Kairi…" Sora had an idea, "You wanna check out me and Riku's secret place?"
"Yah! That would be fun!"
"You can scribble things on the wall and stuff! It's lots of fun!"
-End Flashback
Sora remembered that day perfectly in his mind. They had drawn each other's faces on the wall.
Kairi…I wish I could tell her how I really feel…
He began drawing on the solid rock: a star shape between the two portraits.
Someday…Someday she'll know……
