Thump… Thump… Thump… The girl clad in a Konoha ANBU mask quickly walked to the Hokage's office. Upon reaching the door, the girl reached her hand out and knocked swiftly on the door two times before the muffled voice of the third Hokage said to come in. In the girl went, she took a glance at the Hokage who was looking at the window at the flashing lightning before she bow and waited for the Hokage to inform her about what this last minute meeting was about.
"As you know, you're been a great help to the village, with you our shinobi has gotten stronger than ever, especially the ANBU," said the third Hokage. The ANBU girl replied, "I don't have to be thanks for just doing my job, especially by you, the Hokage. If that's all that you wanted to talk to me about then, do you mind if I leave?" "Actually, I wanted to talk to you about something else," the Hokage said. The girl asked him, "What do you want to talk about? I'm pretty sure I was doing my job fine, did I mess up some paper work?" "No, no, no" he said while chuckling a bit. "Me and the higher ups have noticed that you've been down a bit, probably from the stress and responsibility from working as the ANBU Black Ops Leader for all of the five Hidden Villages? Am I right?" The girl quickly replied, "No! That's not the problem at all. I can handle the responsibility, I've been handling it fine for a few years now," but not before twitching a bit. The old Hokage turned to look at the young but surprisingly strong girl. He said, "You don't have to lie, you just turned 13 years old last week; you're way too young for this amount of stress. We, especially me can see that the lack of social life with people your age has been affecting you a bit so we have all decided to give you a break. Yes, even the other Kages agreed to this, they all care about your well being. There are no buts to this discussion, Raven Saikouichi." Raven reluctantly said, "Hai, Hokage-sama." "Good, starting tomorrow you will go to the ninja academy and you will be a student there, meaning you'll be able to join a genin team with students your age. I already talked to Iruka-sensei about this so there will be no problems with the team arrangement." "Hokage-sama, I don't know what to say! Thank you so…. Much!" exclaimed Raven. She jumped up and gave the third Hokage a bone crushing hug (kidding). She was about to run out of the office but the Hokage stopped her for a second and handed her a folder saying that there is more detailed information in this folder.
The ANBU Black Ops Leader in every Hidden Village known as Raven Saikouichi was getting a break; no one knew how exciting this little break will turn out to be. The Hokage smiled knowing that the talented ninja Raven was finally going to interact with people her age again. The storm with the lightning stopped and this was the beginning of a legend, this was the beginning of an adventure that no one was sure to forget…
