Me and Nessie sat together in the Cullen's house one night. We had just come home from our first date (which Edward wasn't too pleased about).
I put my arm around her knowing that it would annoy Edward (who had decided to "read" in the same room as us).
I thought back to before Nessie was born and when I used to be in love with Bella. Her mom. That was weird I used to be in love with her mom. I was about to laugh at the thought of how weird it sounded but Nessie suddenly jerked away from me.
'What?' I asked.
'You were in love with my mom!?' she screamed at me.
Uh oh. Had I said that out loud!?
I glanced over at Edward for some support but he was suddenly very interested in his book. I saw him smirk as I looked at him.
Thanks for nothing I said mentally to him.
Nessie stood up looking at me like I was some freak.
'I can't believe you were in love with my mom!' she yelled at me.
'Nessie-'
She cut me off 'I mean it's MY mom!'
'I know let me explain!' I said standing up
'Before you were born I loved your mom but then you were born and I imprinted on you and I –'
She cut me off again.
'I know all this!' she said impatiently.
'Okay the point is that it doesn't matter that I loved your mom back then, because I don't love her now. I mean I like her as a friend but that's all' I said.
'Fine' she said looking defeated but still a bit suspicious. She sat down and I sat down with her.
'I still think it's weird that you loved my mom though...' she grumbled.
I laughed and put my arm around her again. I glanced over at Edward who looked disappointed. Suddenly his face brightened.
'Hey Nessie?' asked Edward looking evil.
'Yeah'
'Did you know that Jacob kissed Bella twice? And I'm pretty sure he more than enjoyed in both times. Actually I'd say that they were the best kisses he ever had.'
'WHAT!?' she screamed 'You kissed my mom!'
