Hey guys, I'm back and (hopefully) ready to write again. Firstly, let me clarify one thing: this story is NOT YET CONFIRMED! IF, and only IF, I decide to publish it in full, then the story will be posted in this "book." This first chapter however is merely an "interest check;" the only reason I am posting it in this format is that I have no other way of efficiently reaching you guys and the site rules forbid me to publish anything that isn't a story (and so all further chapters of this story, such as they may be, will be found here.)
As I said before, this is an interest check. I would like to continue with this story, and I feel that the time is now right for me to do so. However, writing a sequel to the Hidden God will not be a small undertaking for me. Most likely, it will prove to be extremely difficult to finish and will take a very long time, and I am not willing to put the effort in, being the lazy man that I am, if there are not a substantial amount of people who will read it.
Please let me clarify that if, gods be good, people would be interested in reading this, that does still not guarantee that it will be published. Yes, I will give it a good effort—but if during the process I come to realize that this will that fizzle out and die a long, painful death, much to the disappointment of whatever readers remain, (as about 90% of fics on this site do,) the story will not see the light of day. Similarly, if there is not enough interest, I will not guarantee that the story won't be continued—I may at some point get a crazy urge to do so and at some point in the future begin posting once more. I will merely say that if there isn't sufficient interest, I am not likely to continue the story, and if I did it would not likely be completed and it should not be expected to appear at any time in the near future. If, after a fair amount of time, sufficient interest has not been expressed, this document will be deleted.
So, if you enjoyed the Hidden God and you would like to see it continued, please let me know via either a PM or the review system. Please, if you don't actually want to see more of it—and by that, I mean, if you would not expect yourself to waste your valuable time reading the various instalments at regular intervals—do not lie. As I've said before, as much as I enjoy writing this story, it is difficult and time consuming, and I only want to write it if it's going to be read an enjoyed.
