Lieutenant Adventures Series 9 Episode 24 4 August 2014. The Biff Strategy.
intro: watch?v=0W73ZCwKo7I.
The TARDIS materialised.
The Lieutenant put on the hologram.
"Right ok."
They were in a library. By the looks of it, the far future.
The Lieutenant turned off the hologram.
The Lieutenant and Kellie left the TARDIS.
The Lieutenant locked the door. "O.K., give me a shout when you find old books."
Kellie turned to face the Lieutenant.
"Oh, well, don't shout because we're in a library. Let me know." whispered the Lieutenant.
"Right." whispered Kellie.
The Lieutenant and Kellie went their separate ways.
The Lieutenant found what he was looking for.
"Kellie. The TARDIS." he called. He went to the TARDIS and unlocked the door and went in. He left the door open. "Right that's been five minutes. I can't wait all day."
The TARDIS began to dematerialise.
Kellie ran in. "Sorry, I got lost." panted Kellie.
The TARDIS closed the door and finished dematerialising.
The Lieutenant went out back and came back hauling an armchair. "Thanks, Kellie. For helping."
"I didn't." said Kellie.
"I know." panted the Lieutenant. He sat. He opened the book and read. "Yes." he exclaimed after a while. "This book is about every single winner in History!" He got up and operated the controls.
The TARDIS materialised.
The Lieutenant put on the hologram. "O.K. Castledermot." He turned off the hologram. "O.K. then. Follow me into the betting shop but shortly after. Try and make it look natural." He left the TARDIS and walked across to the betting shop and into it. "Hiya, Claire, can I stick a 5er on Lead Kindly Light to win?"
"You need to write a betting slip." said Claire.
"Oh. O.K." said the Lieutenant. While he was at it, he wrote out a couple. He handed them to Claire.
"So, 3-1 Lead Kindly Light, Evens Djokovic to win Wimbledon and Evens on the Netherlands to take 3rd place in the world cup?" asked Claire
"Yes." said the Lieutenant.
Kellie came up beside him and handed in her slips.
"Both the same?" asked Claire.
"Yes." said Kellie.
"O.K." said Claire.
"Back in a minute." said the Lieutenant.
The Lieutenant and Kellie walked out of the betting shop and back to the TARDIS.
The TARDIS dematerialised.
"Where're we going?" asked Kellie. "I thought we had just placed bets."
"We have." said the Lieutenant. "1 minute, Kellie."
The TARDIS materialised.
The Lieutenant put on the hologram. "See? We're back. This is when it all happens."
The Lieutenant turned off the hologram.
The Lieutenant and Kellie left the TARDIS and went into the betting shop. By the time they reappeared, they had 2 Santa Sacks full of money.
"O. M. G." gasped Kellie.
"Calm down, Kellie, but hey, we're rich." said the Lieutenant cheerily.
The Lieutenant and Kellie returned to the TARDIS. They laid down the 2 bags of money. Together they operated the controls.
The TARDIS dematerialised.
The Lieutenant picked up the massive book and kissed it. "I'm keeping this, Kellie." said the Lieutenant.
"Sure." said Kellie.
The Lieutenant walked down the corridor to the library and put the book on a special shelf.
Something moved behind him.
The Lieutenant turned round. "O.K. Very funny. I get the joke. I've known you're on my ship for a while, now. I am warning you to leave the TARDIS and leave us alone. I know what you are and how much damage you can do. I'll have you know I'll die before you get your hands on this ship." He walked back to the control room.
