It was the eve of my wedding. And all I could think about was escape. But where could I go? There was nobody else in the world like me to provide me with shelter, or even assist me in executing an escape. I looked at my reflection and burst into tears. "If only I wasn't alone." I said aloud.

"You are not alone." I heard a voice say.

I gasped, "Who said that?" I said.

"I will come out if you promise not to scream." The voice replied.

"I promise not to scream." I said.

A frog hopped out from under the bed. And I screamed. The moment I made that sound the frog hopped away and guards came rushing into the room.

"What is it?" they asked concerned.

"Nothing, it's nothing." I said not letting them in. I was wearing my wedding dress, and did not want them to see me, nor did I want them to know that I screamed at something as harmless as a frog.

As soon as their footsteps indicated their leaving the frog popped out again. "You told me you weren't going to scream."

"A talking frog was the last thing that I expected to see." I replied.

"How did you escape?" asked the frog.

"What?" I asked

"Please tell me how you escaped from the fate of all the other humans of the kingdom, and I will show you how to escape the castle." He said.

"Why would I tell or trust you?" I said.

"Because I used to be a prince, and I'm your only chance." He answered.

"Alright I will tell you, but you probably will not believe me." I said.

"After what happened to me I will believe anything." He said.
