Busses Arn't Just Rides
"May quick! Your going to be late!" I heard my brother yell.
I grabbed my bag and ran downstairs. I had 3 minutes to get to the bus stop so I ran, no, I sprinted to the stop. I got there just in time. Unfortunately since I was late there was only one seat left. Do you know who by? No? Well it was Drew Hayden, Apparently the hottest {NO WAY!}, most sporty and popular guy ever. I sat down quitely befre he pointed out the obvious.
"Hey, girl. You might wanna look in a mirror. Not trying to be rude but I suppose it sounds a bit like it aye?"
I stared in awe at the guy. He was being nice, TO ME! Does he not know who I am? Wait nobody does apart from my friends Misty, Sapphire and Dawn. I quickly pulled out a hairbrush and mirror and started redoing my hair. But lets say I couldnt quite reach the back of my hair. It was about and hour long drive so thats how long im stuck next to Drew.
"Girl whos name I still dont know, lemme help you."
Before I responded he grabbed my hairbrush and started doing my hair. And to be honest, he was quite gentle. It was so relaxing that I nearly fell asleep a few times. He then asked for a hair tie and a few clips so I gave my whole hair bag to him. {for the record dont ask where this book is going, i have absolutely no idea. I felt like writing xP} When he was finished, i saw he had put my waist long chestnut brown hair into a long plait. It looked awesome!
"Thanks Drew" I said while smiling
"No problem girl. So what is your name?"
I looked at him. He never seemed interested in me before so why now? I sighed, I know he wont giveup easy.
"My name? My name is May, May Maple. The nobody nerd no one ever remembers about." I said.
"Nobody nerd? That doesn't fit a girl like you May. Sit with me at lunch kay?" He said and winked at me.
LE GASP! HE SAID SOMTHING NICE!
I nodded and said ok. Then he pulled a pen out of his bag and wrote down on a piece of paper his number. I saw we were getting off the bus. He stood up and waved at me.
"May I expect to see you and your friends at my table at lunch ok?"
I nodded again. He waved, winked and left. As soon as I got off the bus I noticed Misty, Dawn And Sapphire waiting for me. It looked like Dawn was about hug me until she noticed the paper in my hand.
"May whats that?" She asked me
"Umm Drew Haydens number, Why?"
They started screaming and I blocked my ears. I looked over to see Drew and his friends, Ash, Gary and Jakey. I saw him shake his head, roll his eyes and wave to me before going off to his class. So Drew Hayden took interest in me, the nobody nerd and invited me and my friends to sit with him and his friends. Best Day Ever...
Drew: WHY WAS I BEING NICE TO HER!
May: WHY WAS HE BEING NICE TO ME AND WHO LET HIM TOUCH MY HAIR!
Me: Shut Up both of you! Make up and kiss already! Jakey and Gary do the honours.
{Aka Gary and Jakey make em kiss!}
Drew & May: WHAT YA DO THAT FOR!
Gary: cause ya love each other.
