Alcohol Poisoning
Alcohol poisoning is a problem that has been sweeping the nation for many years. Do you have any idea of what happens to your body? Well you will vomit a lot, may be have seizures, slow breathing this will effect how you walk, talk, and work. You will also be prone to hypothermia. The level of alcohol in the blood continues to rise even after a person stops drinking. It can take around 30 to 90 minutes for the alcohol to enter the bloodstream, circulate throughout the body, and cause full intoxication. The amount of time depends on how quickly and how much the person drank along with what else is in the stomach. Things you should do if you suspect someone has alcohol poisoning call 911 for help. Don't try to guess the level of drunkenness because you are not trained to do so. There are very bad things that can happen if you leave it untreated the victim can choke on his or her own vomit. Their heart beat can stop and they may die. Brain damage and death may also happen. Even if the victim lives, an alcohol overdose can lead to irreversible brain damage. Rapid drinking is especially dangerous because the victim can take in a fatal dose before becoming unconscious.
