Tittle: My Wild Frontier
Summary:
Disclaimer: I do not own the song! I do not own Amidala Anakin, Luke, Leia or Obi-Wan. Gorgey-boy does. I am not making any money off this; I'm just doing it for fun.
My Wild Frontier
By Whitney Solo
How do I feel, well I feel so alone.
Like a sad Armadillo across this desert I roam.
I've been stripped down bare, 'til I break. Still the wheel keeps turning.
Hand me a sweet one, I tell no lie.
Summer nights in the cornfields, when the corn gets so high.
We traveled clear across Wichita, headin' north.
Leavin' civilization.
And there were highways to get across.
And places far from here.
And I was his lonesome prairie.
And he was my wild frontier.
Amidala watched hopelessly as Anakin gathered his things. "He said this would be better for us," She thought," it's only better for him."
The last thing he packed was his lightsaber. He held it in his hands and slowly turned it looking at its features.
He walked towards his wife holding the saber out. "What is he going to do with that?" The Queen thought nervously sending a shutter up her back.
He handed it to her, "Hear," he said with know hint of evil in his voice," if you have any kid's give this to them." She gasped, could he know she was prgent? He bent down and kissed her brow, and with that he left.
Harvested peaches in a small border town.
Saved all are wages, put ten percent down.
I never thought I'd see the world through a child's eyes.
Until early December.
Amidala knew it was time. She rushed herself to the Med. Center. Obi-Wan was already their wateing for her.
"I felt it Padme, it is time," he said to her.
She smiled at him; he was always there for her. When Anakin left he was there, when she felt she had no one he was there, and when she needed help with anything he was there. Now he's here when she's giving birth what else could he do for her?
Then one Calgary morning, still as glass.
While my baby lay sleeping, an angel slipped past.
And with one breath said I'm taking him back.
To his Father in Heaven.
Through gravel and ice and new fallen snow.
I held him through my tears.
Because I was his lonesome prairie.
And he was my wild frontier.
Amidala felt like killing herself. Obi-Wan had just told her that Anakin Skywalker had died in a fight with him. Leia started crying in her arms; somehow she knew that her father had died. Maybe through the force. Or maybe she missed her brother Luke.
That night Amidala had a dream that she was with him when he died. She was holding him, crying. He told her that his good side had died but his evil side was still alive. And to stay close to Kenobi, that he can protect her now the he can not.
And sometimes at night I swear I can hear him.
Calling out so clear.
He says, "You were my lonesome prairie.
And I'm still your wild frontier.
A year after Anakin's good side died Amidala was ready to leave this world. She knew Obi-Wan was with her but she didn't. She knew little Leia was sitting on her stomach, yet she did not.
The only thing she knew was that a voice, Anakin's voice, was telling her not to let go over and over. But she did let go, she said, "I need to be with you my Wild Frontier." Then she was gone.
