First I would like to apologize for always changing the chapters to this story, especially to those of you that have followed it since the very beginning. I honestly can't believe that this piece was originally published back in 2011. That's such a crazy concept for me.
Seven, almost eight, years of writing.
This is just going to be a simple note to inform you all that I am once again changing every aspect of this story.
The chapters that I've already written will be saved and posted under a new title rather than this one since the trail of thought and timeline has changed a lot from the original draft. Since I am going to be taking those down I will be also be reposting the original chapters under this story.
In doing this I am hoping to see my full progression in writing and storytelling.

Secondly, I am also currently working on another fanfiction to be titled A Ripple in Time which will somewhat follow the original universe and timeline. In this story Kagome will be throw further back in time where she is introduced to Toga Inu no Taisho and Inu no Kimi, Sesshomaru's parents.
My initial thoughts for the interaction is that they smell familiar pack scents on her person and assess that she's from the future. They ask about their unborn child and she hesitantly explains his character and the countless battles of his that she's witnessed.
She will be the reason he receives the frightening name of "killing perfection" for this reason alone.
After traveling forward in time a bit she comes across a toddler Sesshomaru, still unable to communicate with anything aside from grunts and growls, covered in blood and his father's fur pelt.
His mother was badly wounded and killed, her soul taken to the underworld, while trying to protect him from another lord's assassins. Toga left a bit of his yoki infused with the pelt to ward of any demons from his son and went after his mate. The meido stone around her neck is not just a jewel that can retrieve just any soul, he crafted it from his own claw in order to keep her soul from escaping her body once again.
The reason for Sesshomaru inheriting the Tenseiga will be built around this fact.
He was given the sword to revive a hundred lives because his father feared his soul would be like his mother's and begin to reject his body. Just as the Tetsusaiga is an anchor for the demon within Inuyasha, the Tenseiga is a life line for Sesshomaru's soul. Both swords act as insurance for the brothers.
I am still looking for beta readers to help with the finishing of both stories. Should anyone like to do this then you would get first access to the chapters, behind the story information and lore about the universes, credit for all of your help, access to the playlist(s) created to help me get into the mindset of each character and, should it be within reason, a character of your own incorporated into one of the stories.
