Arthur: Hey, Dad, remember when Merlin saved my life? Well, uh, he's dying now, so d'you think I could maybe go save him? I just need to go get this flower—
Uther: Absolutely not! It's too dangerous!
Arthur: It's really not that dangerous. Just let me take some knights and—
Uther: I'm not risking your life over some servant's!
Arthur: But I'm not risking my life. It's really the safest thing I could be doing. It's literally just a flower—
Uther: You can't go and that's that.
Arthur: But—
Uther: No!
Arthur: I mean… I'm going. So, either you give my some knights to help protect me, or—
Uther: Go to your room.
Arthur: …What?
Uther: I SAID GO TO YOUR ROOM! Without dinner! And I'm not checking on you for the whole rest of the night!
Arthur: … (He exits)
Uther: Ha, I sure showed him.
Morgana: Uther, you do realize he's just going to sneak out anyway, right?
Uther: No, I sent him to his room.
Morgana: Yeah, but there's really nothing stopping him from leaving.
Uther: No, my son respects my decisions and would never disobey me.
Morgana: Look, look out the window, right now. That's him, riding away.
Uther: That looks nothing like my son.
Morgana: Uther, he's flicking you off.
Uther: My son would never disrespect me like that.
Morgana: Uther... He hates you.
