Just a (long) one shot that I might make something out of later. It will mostly depend on what the reviews say. Rated T for make out scene and hinted at something next...hint at other pairings at end, but mainly KagamixKuroko... Please enjoy and don't forget to review ;) Also on a side note, the friendship part is mostly related to Kagami and the Generation of Miracles...
No Worries
Kagami knew that he would never have to worry about Kuroko's loyalty to him. Rather it be on the basketball court, or their new found relationship for each other. The bluenette was the most loyal person he knew, therefore he had nothing to worry about when other guys approached his boyfriend and attempted to flirt. Yes, he did have a jealous side, but knew that he had no reason to be since Kuroko was his and his alone. Just like he was Kuroko's and Kuroko's alone.
He knew all of this. However, he didn't give a damn about any of it when it came to those damn rainbow colored ex-teammates of Kuroko's! He sent an unnoticed glare when Kise pounced on his boyfriend, yet again, and wrapped him in a tight hug. He hated when these bastards came over, because they always put him on edge with how familiar they were with his lover! True, it was usually Kuroko that invited them over after asking him, since it was his apartment in the first place, and he could never say 'no'. He knew that Kuroko truly wanted his friends to be the way they once were, and even he saw that they were on the right path, so he could never find it within him to refuse Kuroko that. It made his boyfriend happy, even though it was hard to tell with his deadpan expression, whenever he had a chance to hang around them.
Like now, even though he saw the annoyance in Kuroko's eyes as Kise rubbed their cheeks together in a childish manner, there was a small smile on his lips. Kagami just didn't have the heart to take Kuroko's friends away from him. Even if he wanted to pull Kuroko away from them constantly, he kept it hidden, gritted his teeth and just counted the minutes they had left until they all decided to leave. Speaking of which, he glanced at the clock on his stove and gritted his teeth. He still had an hour and something left.
"Oi, Kagami! You have anymore of that curry left?" Aomine shouted from his spot in the living room, pausing the game that he and Kuroko were playing.
"Yeah, there some in the fridge." He called back, rinsing a plate and then putting it to the side to dry later.
"Then bring me some while I finish playing this game! You are the host after all!" He called, causing a nerve to tick above his eye. Honestly, they were all so damn lazy! Giving a small sigh that no one would be able to hear, he grabbed a dry rag, dried his hands and then moved to the friends. Honestly, as to why he catered to those damn Skittles he didn't know.
"Anyone else want another helping?" He asked, watching as Murasakibara's hand raised as he used his friend hand to popped a chip into his mouth, while the others merely shook their heads. Giving a grunt, he pulled out the leftovers, quickly fixed and heated two servings and handed them out. After making sure that no one else wanted anything, he moved back into the kitchen to finish the dishes. Only to blink as he saw that the plates that needed to be dried were already gone.
"We took the liberty of drying them and putting them away." The sudden sound from Akashi caused him to glance at the table where the ex-leader and Midorima were sitting, watching the others play the video game and Murisakibara eat.
"We would have done so sooner, but didn't know where exactly the dishes went. Luckily, they wanted seconds, so we discovered for ourselves." Midoriama added, causing him to blink. Couldn't they have just asked? Still...
"Thanks for the help." He stated, giving a small smile, that became slightly bigger when they both huffed and looked away like they didn't care either way. Giving his head a shake, he got back to the little dishes left, thinking that maybe they weren't so bad after all.
After finishing the last of the dishes, he sat in the last chair at the table, and watched the video game that everyone had made a tournament out of. He wasn't surprised to see that Kuroko had lost against Aomine, and now Kise was challenging him. With Murasakibara now sitting next to them since he challenged the next winner. Kuroko wasn't one for video games, especially racing ones. So far, Aomine was beating everyone, although he suspected that when it came to video games, the two beside him truly didn't care about it.
"I still don't fully understand." The statement caused him to look over at Akashi, only to raise an eyebrow when he saw that the man was already looking at him.
"Understand what?" He muttered, since the statement had been said in a hushed voice, he kept the same tone, but was aware that Midorima was part of the conversation as well.
"How is it that Tetsuya even wants to still call us his friends? We treated him like shit, and even discarded him, but yet it seems that he forgives us." Akashi muttered, causing him to blink and glance over at Midorima, who looked as troubled about the situation as Akashi. They weren't serious were they? After a moments of silence, and studying both of them, he sat back in slight amazement. They were serious!
"And people say I'm the idiot." He muttered, nearly laughing as both of them glared at him slightly and raised his hands in defense.
"Seriously, all of you have known Kuroko longer than me, and you don't even realize what kind of person he is?" He stated, watching as they both blinked before shaking his head and leaning forward.
"Enlighten us, Kagami." Midorima stated, and he huffed before looking at his boyfriend, who was smiling to himself at the bickering that was coming from Aomine and Kise. While also accepting the candy that Murasakibara kept handing him.
"He's not the kind of guy to hold any kind of grudge. Especially when it comes to people he respects or cares for." He muttered, turning back to see nothing but confusion on their faces. He sighed and shook his head once again, it looked like he had to spell it out for these two.
"He told me once, that in middle school, no one ever noticed him. Of course that was because of his low presence and what not, but anyway. It was you guys on the basketball team that noticed him first. All of you guys were the ones that became his first group of friends, and that's something he always holds close to him. Sure, he was hurt when all of you guys started getting so damn cocky and pushed him aside, but he didn't hold it against any of you. He merely thought that if he showed you guys that you could play basketball and still have fun, you'd return to normal, which thankfully you did. He did it because he wanted to keep his friends, he was constantly worried that he would be too late in making you guys see the error of what you were doing, that none of you would ever be like he remembered. Sure, he can handle a little change from people, but you guys were nearly becoming monsters and he wanted to stop that. So, he did." Kagami stated, watching as they both frowned and Akashi leaned closer.
"But why? He could have just left us be, because we tossed him aside. Why go through the trouble for people who aren't your friends anymore?" He stated, causing Kagami to smile.
"Because even when you pushed him aside, he still thought of all of you as his friends. And he believes that you should never give up on friends." He stated, watching as the man blinked and then looked over at the bluenette, who was arguing with Aomine, who had apparently cheated on the game.
"He never stopped thinking we were all friends?" Midorima whispered, looking over at the small group as well, and then looked down.
"We nearly destroyed something so perfect." He muttered, causing Kagami to raise an eyebrow. That was something unexpected from tsundere.
"Luckily he found Kagami though, another light that gave him something to go for." Akashi stated, and even though he knew he would never likely get another praise like that from the man, he wasn't about to claim it.
"I had nothing to do with you guys. Kuroko merely used me to knock some sense into all of you. I didn't care if you became monsters or not, I just wanted to play basketball. He was the one with the plan and acted it out, I was nothing more than a pawn." He stated, watching as their brows furrowed at him.
"He is always saying you are his light though." Midorima stated, and Kagami shrugged.
"Ever thought that maybe a shadow can give out it's own light? In my opinion, that was exactly what Kuroko was doing for you guys." He stated, watching as they went wide eyed briefly before looking back over at the man they were talking about. He saw that they finally understood what he was getting at, and was glad when the faintest of smiles appeared on their lips.
"He truly is something, guess I missed out on that and you got the better of it Kagami." Akashi stated, causing him to tense and glare at the man for the obvious challenge. And here he thought that maybe they weren't all that bad!
"You know, you might want to make sure that you do nothing to run him off. Someone who has lost a valuable treasure always makes a plan to get it back." Akashi stated, causing him to glare at the man and grit his teeth. He wouldn't go for the taunt, even though every fiber of his being was telling him to stake a claim then and there. Everyone already knew about his and Kuroko's relationship, and it had surprised him at how accepting everyone was. Even the Generation of Miracles, however, they teased and taunted the hell out of him for it as well. Inhaling deeply, he exhaled quietly and then gave Akashi a confident look.
"Just try it. I've nothing to fear." He stated, watching as an approving smile crossed his lips before he gave a nod. He blinked when the man rose from his spot and nodded his head in his direction.
"I thank you for the hospitality, and sorry for intruding." He stated, causing him to raise an eyebrow.
"Leaving already?" He asked, glancing to the clock and blinked as he saw that it was in deed about the time that they headed out so they could catch their trains.
"Yes, in order to catch the trains." Akashi stated, just as he had figured, he stood as well as he heard grumbles of complaints from Kise in the living room.
"We'll see you all out then." Kuroko stated, only to blink when Akashi raised his hand and shook his head.
"We'll all manage since we're heading the same way. Thank you for the hospitality. Until next time Tetsuya, Kagami." Akashi stated, the others following his lead and giving small bows and thanking them as well.
"Oi, Kagami. Tomorrow, street basketball tomorrow right?" Aomine asked, causing him to smirk and nod.
"Damn straight, and don't be late this time." He stated, giving them one last wave as they finally left his and Kuroko's apartment.
Kuroko gave a small smile as Kagami flopped down on the couch with a loud groan. He knew that Kagami's patience was always tested whenever the Generation of Miracles were over, but he truly loved how he still allowed them over. Also, he even went the extra mile of playing, nearly, perfect host.
"I swear, they get more and more annoying each time they come over." Kagami muttered into the couch pillow, causing him to chuckle slightly and move to stand beside his lover. He knelt down, crossed his arms on the cushion and rested his chin in the fold of his arms.
"Thank you for humoring me and allowing them over." He muttered, smiling when he turned his head slightly, and red eyes focused on him.
"Don't mention it, they are your friends after all." He stated, causing him to smile even more and lean closer.
"But you don't have to put up with them, yet you do. You never tell them to meet me in a different place. Nor do you fuss at them if they make a mess or a lot of noise here. You truly are kind, Kagami." He stated, watching as a blush slowly formed across his face causing him to turn to the pillow again.
"It's nothing like that. I know that you have fun, so...Whatever I guess." He muttered, the words muffled within the fabric. He chuckled again and rested his head on Kagami's shoulder, moving it side to side slightly and gave a sigh.
"You spoil me too much Kagami." He stated, blinking when his shoulder shifted, making him lean back and watch as Kagami rolled onto his side. A smirk on his lips as he leaned forward.
"Do you really want me to spoil you?" He asked, a near feral look in his eyes that only meant one thing. This time a blush found its way across his face and for him to swallow.
"I...I think it would be possible for Kagami to spoil me more." He muttered, sliding his eye lids down slightly as Kagami leaned even closer. There was a moment of a second that stilled as Kagami looked into his eyes, and then his lips pressed softly into his. At first it was merely a molding of lips, then Kagami rose up more, bringing his hand to the back of Kuroko's neck to angle his head. The new position allowed Kagami to easily deepen the kiss, his tongue sliding through Kuroko's lips with ease, and started to tempt Kuroko's tongue into play.
A small groan left him as he leaned closer to Kagami, his nails trying to find a hold in the fabric of Kagami's shirt, until finally he twisted the material in his fists. Kagami pulled back slightly, only to lean forward and start trailing kisses down his cheek, along his jaw, and then down his throat. The action caused a shiver to travel through him, and he gave a moan, tugging at the material in his hands.
"Kagami please." He muttered, giving a sigh as Kagami answered him by pressing their lips together in a searing kiss that left him completely breathless.
"Let's move this to the bedroom." Kagami growled, sitting up and bringing him with him before leading them to their shared room.

Midorima looked at his old basketball Captain and tilted his head to the side slightly.
"Why did you taunt Kagami like that?" He asked, watching as Akashi blinked before looking over at him with a small smile.
"So I'm a sadist who likes to take jabs at Kagami. Rather it be with words or scissors. It's just too fin to rile him up." Akaski answered, his smile growing slightly as Midorima shook his head.
"Honestly though, if anything did happen to them would you try to take Tetsuya away from him?" He asked, watching as the man thought about it for a moment before shaking his head.
"Even if Kagami did manage something to royally piss Tetsuya off, he would never truly be mad at his new light. Besides, Kagami knows that he has something to truly value, he isn't going to do anything to mess up. If he does, then he is truly stupider than us." Akashi stated, causing Midorima to smirk and push his glasses up.
"I guess that is true." He muttered, as they finally reached the point where they went different ways.
"Guess I'll see you next week, Akashi." He muttered, nodding as a wave was his response and watched as Akashi merely walked off. Giving a sigh he took his own path, knowing that the man was right. Kuroko was officially out of their reach in that way, but then again, all of them had their own lovers to worry about. Even if the others wasn't suppose to know about them. He smiled as he headed toward his apartment, wanting nothing more than to tell Takao about the fact that his guilt over the past was no longer a problem, and knew without a doubt that the others would do the same. All thanks to Kuroko and Kagami.
