This is an ongoing joke within my group of friends. The characters in this show are so completely inconsistent. I'm convinced that their behavior in any given episode is based solely on how the writers want the plot to progress. Seriously.

Arthur: Dad, I have an announcement to make. Sophia and I are getting married.

Uther: Bahaha, good one, Arthur. That's funny.

Arthur: No, seriously, we're getting married.

Uther: No, you're not.

Arthur: We're in love!

Uther: Arthur, you met her two days ago.

Arthur: We're going to get married!

Uther: Arthur, I'm'a slap a bitch in a minute.

Arthur: NOBODY UNDERSTANDS ME!

Uther: I still don't fully understand…
