Life isn't Always Sunshine and Roses
Listening to the rain was all she knew how to do lately. Everytime there was rain she would go out there and just sit on the porch and listen. Listen to the sound of drops hitting everything. The roof, the car in the driveway, the porch steps, anything and everything.
The rain made her think... think about the times she had and didn't have with him. It made her want to both laugh and cry. She listened to the rain the day he left, always sitting on the porch the exact same way, with her knees to her chest in one of his dress shirts. A stuffed bear in her arms. As if she knew they would return. She stayed out ther until the rain stopped and then went in. Right to the place she was before. This already lasted for months and her friends and family were really worrying. But she didn't care, she wanted to be with them. In anyway she could. Where all three of them should be and no one could tell her different.
