Love 1, I love you (Rika)

Four years since the battle with the D-Reaper but things were a bit difficult now than they were back then.

I sat on a park beach.

I had realized something that I never thought of something.

I loved him.

No, I love him.

Henry rode on his bike when he saw me.

"Hey ay Rika," he said.

He looked so handsome.

"Hey," I replied.

He looked around.

"You alone?' he asked.

I nodded.

Henry pushed back his dark hair.

I wanted to run my fingers through his hair.

He got off his bike and sat down beside me.

"What" up?' he asked, "why are you out here alone?'

"My mom was getting on my nerves about trying another stupid test shot."

"Just tell her that you don't want to do it," he said.

"Have you met my mom?"

"Good point."

"By the way, what are you doing out here?"

"I got done with basketball practice."

"Oh that's right, you got that big game coming up."

He nodded.

I didn't notices but our hands were touching.

"You came to the park to hide from your mom?"

I shook my head.

"I wanted some air."

"I get it," he said.

He fixed his jacket.

It was still spring and school had started four weeks ago.

"How's your new school?" I asked.

"It's okay," he replied, "I've made some friends but none of them know about digimon or about what we did four years ago."

"Let's keep it that way," I said.

He nodded.

I finally realized that our hands were touching and he did too.

We jerked away from each other.

"I should get home," he said standing up and walking toward his bike.

I stood up too.

'Yeah, me too," I replied.

We went in different directions.

I lied on my bed.

Why did I start developing feelings for Henry?

We had some alone together since my school was the way to his.

I had been developing these feelings for him these past four years.

Henry is smart, kind, caring and he was an athlete.

He knew what was going on just by looking around the room but yet he couldn't tell how I felt about him.

I was afraid what would happen if I told him the truth.

I knew that he could have found someone else.

I looked up at the ceiling.

I wished Renamon was here; then we could talk.

She always made me feel better about myself but this wasn't something that I believed she could help me with.

I roared and turned around on my bed.

I punched my pillow.

I haven't told anyone about my feelings; partly because I'm a tough girl and they would all tease me for liking a boy even if that boy was Henry.

I could hear my phone vibrate.

I reached into my pocket and pulled it out.

"Yeah," I said.

"Hey there Rika," said Jeri.

"What's up Jeri," I asked.

"I was wondering if you would come over."

"What for?"

"I need to talk to a girl right now."

"About Takato?"

She was quiet.

"Alright Jeri, I'll be right over."

"Thank you Rika," she said happily.

"Don't mention it," I replied before we hung up the phone.

Maybe I should tell Jeri, she won't tease me.

I got to Jeri's house and knocked on the door.

Jeri's step-mom opened the door.

"Oh Rika," she said.

"Is Jeri home?" I asked.

Jeri appeared.

"Rika, you came!"

"Dud," I said, "I told you that I would."

She pulled me into the house.

We got to Jeri's room when her step-mom asked if we wanted any snacks.

"No thanks," I replied.

"I'll in the kitchen if you girls need anything."

Jeri closed the door once her step-mom was gone.

"Okay why did you call me?"

Jeri looked nervous.

"What happened?"

"Takato told me that he likes me."

That was a big step for Takato.

"So?" I said, "I thought you like him too."

"I do," Jeri replied, "but I just froze and my mouth was opened."

"So, basically, you made a fool out of yourself," I finished.

Jeri cupped her face into her hands.

"What am I going to do Rika," she cried, "If I don't give him an answer then he must think that I don't like him."

Jeri began to ramble on.

I grabbed her hands, causing her to stop.

"Look Jeri," I said, "You don't have to worry. Here's what you do, when you see Takato tomorrow that you had to let it sink in and then tell him the truth."

"But what if he doesn't like that?'

"Takato would understand, besides that was stupid on his part for saying it like he did."

Jeri had told me how Takato told her over the phone; on my way to her house.

"I'm scared."

I sighed.

I had my own problems in romance to deal with like talking with Henry about my feelings.

"Can you come with me?" she asked.

That was a problem; we were in different schools but I knew Jeri meant to the park after school.

Henry had practice tomorrow and I wanted to watch but I guess; I could have gone with Jeri.

Henry had other practices for the season.

I could make it to any of them.

"Okay," I replied.

Jeri smiled.

"Thank you Rika," she said.

What was I getting myself into?

After school; I met up with Jeri.

Jeri looked nervous.

"I told Takato to meet me here," she said.

"What should I say?"

"Just start with hi Takato how's it going," I said.

"Oh, I can't say that," she said.

Jeri was rambling again.

I sighed then I saw Takato walking toward us.

I realized that he wasn't' alone.

Henry was there too.

Oh crap, why did Henry have to come?

Why did god have to be so cruel to me?

"Hey Jeri, Rika," said Takato.

Jeri had stopped rambling by now.

"Hi guys," she said.

I gave her a light jab.

Jeri took a deep breath but Takato spoke first.

"I'm sorry Jeri," he said bowing his head to her.

"I didn't mean to shout it out yesterday but I really do like you and I…..I…."

Henry patted Takato's back.

"Jeri would like to go to a movie with Takato?" he asked for Takato.

"I was supposed to ask her," Takato shouted.

"Then open your mouth," said Henry, "stop rambling."

I tried to hold back the laughter.

I looked over at Jeri.

"She would love to," I said pretending to be Jeri.

"Rika," said Jeri.

"You didn't say anything," I pointed out.

"Then, it's settled," said Henry, "Rika, let's leave these two lovebirds alone, shall we?"

I nodded.

If that meant some alone time with him then hell why not.

"See ya Jeri," I said following Henry.

"Hey Rika," she called.

"Henry," Takato called.

"You got this man," said Henry as we walked away.

"That was pretty clever," he said, "good thing we were there."

I nodded.

"I thought you had practice?"

"Canceled," he replied, "the coach had to go home after school. His wife is having a baby and he doesn't want to miss it."

"Well, that's the best excuse in the book," I said.

He laughed.

"So, you came with Takato?"

"Yeah, he told me what happened over the phone yesterday. So, I told him that I would help him. I bet Jeri did the same thing to you."

"She had me come over to her house and then we decided to meet after school."

"Man, the things we do for friends, huh?"

"That's what we get," I said, "maybe we should stop helping and let them work it out themselves."

"That sounds kind of mean," he said.

"Oh, come on," I said, "You were basically cleaning up Takato's mess earlier."

"What about you? You would did the same with Jeri."

"That was all Takato's fault."

We laughed.

"I'll be worried when Suzie starts dating," he said.

I could picture Henry getting protective over Suzie.

I wondered how he would be like if I started dating.

"So, do you need help with Ryo?"

I nearly tripped if he hadn't caught me.

"Why do you guys think I like Ryo?' I asked annoyed.

"You do try to avoid him a lot," he replied.

"I don't like Ryo, okay!" I roared, "he just annoys me."

"Keep telling yourself that Rika," he said.

"For your information, I have been to like someone else."

The time I realized that those words left my mouth it was too late.

He looked at me.

"So, you do have feelings," he said.

"Shut up!" I growled throwing my fist at him.

He moved.

"So, who is it?"

"I'm not telling," I growled.

"Don't tell me you like Kenta."

"Gross!"

"Kazu?"

"No way!"

"Takato?"

"Get real!"

"That friend of yours. What was his name? Sai?"

"Yes and no, he's like a brother."

"Well it can't be me," he said.

I didn't say anything.

"I don't know what I'm going to tell Ryo now," he said, "he's got a crush on you."

"Like I care," I replied.

I didn't care if Ryo liked me; I liked Henry.

I wish I knew if he felt the same way.

Then I thought for a moment.

Since he was bugging me about my love life then I could do the same.

"What about you?" I asked.

He stopped walking.

"Do you like a girl or a guy?'

I had to add that in there as a joke.

"I'm not gay," he replied.

"Then what's her name?"

"I didn't say that I liked anyone," he said.

"You didn't deny it."

He opened his mouth but then closed it.

He looked so cute trying to come up with a come back.

I smiled.

If he wouldn't tell me then I would tease him; of course I was flirting with him too.

"I don't have to tell you anything," he replied.

"Is all?"

He glared at me.

"Drop it Rika," he barked.

I stopped.

I didn't mean to get under his skin like that.

He was annoyed.

"Sorry," I replied.

He shook his head.

"I got to go," he said.

He walked away.

Stupid.

I was so stupid !

Here I was teasing him; instead of coming out with the truth.

I screamed into the air.

"What's wrong with me!" I shouted.

Why can't I even tell the guy I like how I feel?

I kicked an empty soda can into the garbage can near by.

I was beginning to hat e myself.

I watched as Henry played his big game.

All of our friends were there.

Jeri and Takato were sitting next to each other holding hands.

I was both jealous and happy for them both.

I looked at Henry as he made a basket.

The crowd cheered.

Ryo was sitting next to me.

He looked uncomfortable about something.

"Rika," he said.

I looked at him.

"If you're not too busy after the game…"

"No thanks," I said turning back to the game.

"Oh," he said, "I was just….."

"Sorry Ryo," I replied, "not interested."

I knew he was hurt but I wasn't going to toy with him.

I kept my eyes on Henry.

I heard his family cheer him on.

"You can do it man," Kenta shouted.

Henry leapt up into the air with the ball in hand over another player's head.

He swung his arm forward and slammed dunked the ball through the hoop.

He held onto the hoop.

He jumped down and landed onto his feet.

Everyone cheered.

His teammates high fived him as they ran past him.

"Go Henry!" Takato called.

"That's my big brother," said Suzie.

"You can win," said Kazu.

"You can do it Henry," Jeri called.

The game was over with Henry's team wining.

I noticed a girl that I didn't know hand him a towel.

I could feel my heart dripped as jealousy took over me.

We all walked over to him.

"Hey guys," he said.

"You were awesome man," said Kenta.

"Thanks," said Henry.

I stared at the girl standing beside him.

"Who's your friend?" Ryo asked, "a girlfriend?"

I got even more jealous when he said that.

"No, "said Henry waving his hands in front of him.

"Kate is just a friend."

"That's right," said the girl, "even thought I want to be more than friends."

"She's kidding," said Henry.

I wanted to struggle her.

"I am," said Kate, "Henry and I are in art class together and we got assigned a project together."

"Really," said Takato, "what's the project?"

"To do a staler," said Kate, "I'm thinking a dragon?"

"Kate loves dragons," Henry explained.

"Dude," said Kenta, "You should do Terriermon."

"Huh?" Kate said, "are you talking about digimon?"

"Yeah," said Kenta, "the TV show."

"I never watched it."

"Kate isn't into that stuff," said Henry, "she's more into Skyrum."

"That game?" said Kenta.

Kate nodded.

"Anyway," she said, "I got to go. See ya around Henry."

She walked away.

I still was jealous.

"Dude, she's hot," said Kenta.

"You can ask her out," said Henry, "I'm not interested in starting a relationship with her."

That made me relaxed.

"Anyway," said Takato, "let's go cerebrate."

"Na," said Henry, "my family is going out for dinner tonight. I'll see you guys around."

He walked away.

"Too bad, "said Kenta, "hey wait, I forgot to ask that girl for her phone number!"

"Like you would ever get a date," I said, "you're better off dating Kazu than a girl."

"Gross," the two of them cried.

Everyone else laughed.

"That's so funny I forgot to laugh," said Kenta and Kazu.

My mom was good at one and that getting on my nerves about finding a career.

I mean, I'm a freshman in high school; I had three years before I could figure that out.

I sat there with my grandma watching the news.

It was the topical news nothing special.

No digimon popping up.

I thought about my adventures with Renamon.

How I wished she was here.

My mom came into the room wearing a dress for her modeling job.

"How was work dear?" my grandma asked.

My mom walked into her room to change.

"It was fine," said she.

I paid no attention.

I kept thinking about Renamon.

I saw a sport team had won which made me think about Henry's team.

He was great at basketball.

I wanted to watch him forever.

I had thought about tipping him on the shoulder after a game and had him meet me behind the bleachers, so we could be alone but we had to be a couple first.

Maybe I could tell him behind the bleachers.

Maybe I could write a note and slip it into his bag on our way to school or giving it the note in person but told him not to read until he was alone.

There were so many ways I could tell him.

I checked them all off in my mind.

Why is it so hard!

My thoughts started screaming at me.

I wished I had the courage to walk up and say that I love him to him.

I remembered how that worked for Takato.

He yelled it and I ended up helping out and so did Henry.

I knew in the end Jeri and Takato ended up together while Henry and I were pretenidnt that they were asking each other out.

I growled.

Good thing my mom and grandma didn't hear me.

I buried my face into the table.

My life sucks.

I was going nuts just sitting here.

I thought about calling Henry up and seeing if he wanted to hang out but he always hanged out with Takato.

I reached for my phone but stopped.

What would I say?

I could say hey Henry how's it going? By the way do you want to hang out?

I went over a million different things I could say but I couldn't decide which one to go with.

I pulled my hand away from my phone.

Who could I ask about this stuff without them freaking out?

Renamon wasn't here and my mom and grandma would go nuts if they learned that I had a crush on a boy.

Maybe Jeri?

No, she would make a big scene about it.

Takato?

No, he's too useless with something like this.

Ryo had a crush on me so talking to him would be weird.

Kenta and Kazu would make fun of me and Suzie is too young and plus she would tell Henry that I like him.

Wish Renamon was here. I need her help with this.

I took a deep breath.

Here goes nothing.

I pulled out my phone and dialed his number.

I held the phone up to my ear and waited.

If I heard his voice then I would lose it.

Instead, I got his voicemail.

I hung up and dialed his home number.

"Hello?" said Suzie.

"Hi Suzie," I said.

"Rika hello," she said.

"Is Henry there?"

"No, he's at Kate's apartment working on their art project."

My heart fell from my chest.

Why was he with her?

I wanted him here with me but he was off with another girl.

"I'll let him know you called," she said.

"No, you don't have to," I told her.

"Thanks anyways."

I hung up the phone feeling empty inside.

I placed my head onto the table.

I closed my eyes.

What was so great about Kate anyway?

I knew Henry longer than she had and I learned a lot about him over the years.

My heart began to ache.

If only I knew where her apartment was then I could go there and speak with her.

I didn't want to ask for the number.

I thought what they could be doing at her apartment.

Was he having fun?

Was she making her move on him?

Were they making out?

So many questions went through my head.

He wasn't my boyfriend and yet I couldn't help but think about them.

I could feel a tear fall from my face.

Why were boys so much trouble?

Why were they heartache?

Love 2, her smile (Henry)

I sat in Kate's apartment.

Kate's older brother had come with a tray of snacks for us.

"Thanks," I said.

He placed them down and then walked away.

"So," said Kate, "should we finish the sketch?"

My mind wasn't' on the project.

"Hello, earth to Henry," she called.

I came back to reality.

"You think about that girl you like Rika?" she asked.

Kate could read people like a book.

She knew that I liked Rika.

I guess she could see how easy it was for me to react whenever Rika was around me.

I knew that Ryo liked Rika too.

I thought Rika liked him but since the last time we talked alone; she was disgusted by it.

So, I figured maybe I still had at chance but Rika wouldn't fall for me.

She was too good for me anyways.

At least that's what I keep telling myself anyway.

Kate threw a pencil she was sketching at me.

I looked at her.

"You need to focus," she said, "do you want to fail?"

I sighed.

"You're a much better at drawing then am I," I replied.

"We both need to work on it," she said, "the teacher will fail you."

"Sorry," I said.

"You aren't her boyfriend and yet you keep acting like she's your girl."

"No, I don't," I replied.

Kate was right.

I was crazy about Rika.

We had gotten to know each other for four years and I learned a lot about her.

We had traveled and fought together.

If Terriermon was here then I wouldn't hear the end of it.

He was my best friend though but he could be a pain.

Kate clicked her pen at me.

"Get your head out of the clouds."

"Sorry."

"Forget it."

I returned to the project but every once in a while Rika would pop into my mind.

Kenta was going on about some movie he saw with Kazu and Ryo that weekend.

Takato and Jeri were in their own little world.

I sat there barely listening looking through my old card deck.

Kenta said something about Rika that would have if she was here would had gotten him slapped.

I looked through the cards not caring about anything too much.

Kenta cried out.

I looked up.

Rika was there wearing her school uniform.

She had kicked Kenta in the back for opening his mouth.

God did she look so beautiful in her school uniform.

Her hair was tied back like always.

I couldn't keep my eyes off her.

"Where were you?' Ryo asked.

"None of your business," she replied.

She seemed pissed off for some reason.

Did Kenta piss her off that badly or was it something over the weekend?

She sat down by Jeri.

Jeri turned to her.

They started a conversation.

"Hey Henry," said Takato, "what are you doing over there?"

"Oh just looking through my old deck," I told him.

"Oh yeah?" he said.

I could a hopeful smile on his face

He wanted to see Guilmon again.

I did want to see Terriermon again too.

We all wanted to see our digimon again.

Rika looked sad and I knew that Renamon was on her mind.

I hated seeing her sad.

I loved it when she smiled.

Ryo was the one who got to Rika.

"Its okay princess," he said, "We'll see them again."

"I know," said Rika pushing his hand of her shoulder.

Kazu was the who pointed out something in the sky.

"what's that?" he said.

We all looked up.

The sky was opening up and the next thing I knew lights were coming out of the hole.

We all moved to the side.

I happened to end up next to Rika.

Our hands touched as we sidle onto the ground.

We stared at each other then at the lights.

There were eight of them.

Two more lights appeared and landed.

We all waited to see what would happen.

Soon the light died down and we saw something that we never thought we would see again.

"Henry!"

Terriermon leapt up into my arms.

"Terriermon!" I cried out.

Takato let out a cry as Guilmon started licking him.

Kenta and Kazu danced with joy as they greeted their partners.

Ryo petted his partner.

Lopmon stood there.

"Where's Suzie?" she asked.

"At home," I told her.

"Leomon!"

We all looked.

I couldn't believe it.

Jeri's partner who got destroyed was back.

Calumon jumped into her arms happily.

Impmon greeted every one of us.

"Rika," said Renamon as she walked toward us.

"Renamon," said Rika happily.

She got up and hugged her.

I stood up holding Terriermon in my arms.

"Lopmon! Terriermon!" Suzie cried when she saw them.

She hugged them both.

I smiled.

Impmon had gone back to his tamers.

Everyone had gone home to show their families that their digimon were back.

I walked into my dad's office.

"Ah, Henry," he said, "I see, the digimon are back."

"Yeah," I replied, "do you how that happened?"

"Not yet," he said, "but we're getting to the bottom of it."

I was glad Terriermon and the others were back but I still had another problem.

"So, how is school? Is there a girl in your class that you like?'

Could I tell him?

"I guess so but she's doesn't go to my school."

My dad raised an eyebrow.

"Can you give me more details?"

"I can't."

Terriermon hopped into the room and landed on my head.

"What are you doing?" he asked.

"What?' he said, "I can't ride on your head like old times?"

"Never mind," I said.

He laughed.

Terriermon probably thought that things were going to be like old times but during that time; I didn't have feeling s for Rika like I do now.

My dad laughed.

"So, this girl," he said.

I looked at him.

"Do I know her?"

I couldn't give him too many details.

"You like a girl?" said Terriermon.

"Maybe," I replied to my dad.

"Yeah I do Terriermon. So what?"

"Henry is growing up," Terriermon cried pretending that he was crying.

"I'm losing him."

"Very funny," I said.

"I thought so," he said.

My dad couldn't but laugh at our comedy act.

"So, tell me who's the lucky girl?"

"Na," I said with a smile.

"It's more fun if you guess."

"Oh come on that's rude," said Terriermon.

I sat in class next to my friend Max.

He was taking notes that were on the board.

"So," he said, "are going to Kate's after shool?"

"Nope," I replied, "We'll finish the project in class today."

"What about practice?"

"Nope."

"Um, my girlfriend and I are suppose to go out but her friend just broke up with her boyfriend and she doesn't want her alone…."

"You want me to go as her date," I replied.

"Yeah, will you do it?'

I thought for a moment.

"Sorry," I replied, "I can't, an old friend of mine has come back after four years, so I'm going to hang out with him."

He looked disappointed.

"Sorry," I said.

'It's fine," he said.

I felt bad for Max but I had made plans to catch up with Terriermon that same day.

I got home to have Terriermon jump into my arms.

"How was school?" he asked.

"It was okay," I said smiling.

Terriermon climbed onto my shoulder.

Suzie came with Lopmon.

"We're going to the park," said Suzie.

"Okay," I said.

They walked out the door.

"Wait a minute Suzie," Lopmon called, "We have to wait for your father."

My dad walked past me.

"Suzie is already out the door," I told him.

He nodded.

I watched him ran after her.

"Hey let's go out," said Terriermon.

"Sure pal," I said.

He smiled.

"I just need to change first."

"Okay," he said.

We walked around town.

We didn't have any place in mind we planned on going to but we just wanted to enjoy each other's company.
I saw Takato's family's bakery.

"Let's go say hi," said Terriermon.

I sighed.

I opened the door and ran into Rika.

"Rika," I said.

"Hey Henry," she said.

Renamon was right behind her as always.

"Yo Henry, Terriermon," Takato called from behind the counter.

Guilmon walked toward us.

Terriermon jumped off my shoulder and onto Guilmon's head.

"Did ya miss me?" he asked.

He and Guilmon started playing.

I noticed that Rika had a brown paper bag in her arms.

She was staring at me.

"Rika, we should go," said Renamon, "your grandmother is waiting."

"Right," she said then walked past me.

"What was Rika doing here?" I asked.

"Buying some beard," Takato replied.

"So, what brings you here?"

"Terriermon wanted to say hi," I replied.

He smiled.

I saw Calumon floating by carrying a small tray of beard to an empty shelf.

"Is this okay?" he asked.

"Yeah, that's fine Calumon," Takato replied.

"So, how are things with Jeri?" I asked.

His face turned red.

"They're great," he said.

I knew that he was embarrassed.

I could tell something happened.

"What happened now?" I asked.

"She kissed me," he said.

"Well, that's good isn't it?"

"Well yeah but I just froze."

"So, she caught you by surprise huh?"

He nodded.

"I tried calling her today but no answer."

"Did you call her cell or home phone?"

"Both, nothing."

I sighed.

"Just give it some time," I told him.

"She probably realized what happened and needs some time to herself now."

"Yeah you're probably right. Man, you know everything."

I didn't know everything but he won't listen to me about that.

I didn't know how Rika felt about me.

It was easy helping Takato but not using my own advice to talk to Rika about my feelings.

Takato is too naïve for his own good.

"I'm wondering why hasn't a girl taken you yet," he said, "You give some good advice on girls."

"I do have sisters you know," I reminded him.

"So, I do know a thing or two about girls."

He nodded.

"That does make sense."

Takato saw Guilmon going to take a bit of some beard.

"Don't you dare," he called.

Guilmon fell onto the floor.

Terriermon laughed.

I laughed too.

"Guilmon hasn't changed at all," I said, "still the same beard loving guy."

"Yeah," said Takato, "sometimes, I wish he would grow out of it."

That would help business if Guilmon didn't try to eat the whole bakery.

I nodded.

"Hey guess what Ryo told me," said Takato.

I looked at him.

"He tried to ask Rika out at your basketball practice but she shot him down."

Ryo had talked about asking Rika out.

"I was him looking depressed so I asked him what was wrong and he told me."

"Well, Rika did tell me that she doesn't like him that way."

"Ouch," said Takato, "poor guy."

"I know," I replied.

To tell ya the truth; I was glad Rika didn't like him, that meant I still had a chance with her.

I shook my head.

I shouldn't be thinking like that.

Ryo was my friend and I shouldn't be friend at Rika turned him down.

I could have imagined if Rika did like him.

It hurt me to think that but all I really wanted is for Rika to be happy.

"Earth to Henry," Takato called.

I didn't realize that I had zoned out.

"Sorry Takato," I said, "I've got a lot on my mind right now."

"I can see that," he said, "is there bothering you?"

I couldn't tell him the truth.

I won't hear the end of it.

Takato would probably tell the others and Kenta would let it out that I like Rika.

I shook my head.

"No," I replied acting normal.

"Nothing is wrong."

"Okay," he said.

I knew that he didn't' buy it but luckily for me; Takato knew to drip it.

Guilmon was now on his hands with Terriermon on his foot.

Calumon landed on Guilmon's other foot.

Takato and I were too busy talking about stuff that teenagers usually talked about.

Guilmon felt onto the floor.

Terriermon and Calumon rolled on the floor laughing.

I woke up to something jumping on my stomach.

I opened my eyes.

Suzie was sitting there.

"Suzie," I whined pulling the covers over my head.

"You're getting to big for that.

She glared at me.

"Henry, you got a game today."

I had forgotten about the game.

"A game?" said Terriermon, "what kind of game?"

Suzie jumped off my bed.

"Get up slowpoke," she said leaving the room.

I sighed as I sat up.

I got out of bed and got changed into my jersey.

"What's that for?" Terriermon asked.

I grabbed my shoes and sacks.

I put them on.

Today was the first game of the season.

Once I was finished, I made my way to the door.

"Henry," my mom called, "you need to eat something before your game."

"I'll eat on the way," I told her.

Terriermon was on my shoulder.

I took him off and settled him down.

"Now, Terriermon," I said, "You can watch the game but you have pretend to be a stuffed animal."

He groaned.

"Fine," he said.

I patted him on the head.

I arrived to the court; when I saw my friends sitting in the bleachers.

My eyes landed on Rika.

Renamon sat beside her.

She was smiling.

I could feel my heart jump out of my chest.

"Go Henry," Takato called, "knock them die."

I walked onto the court.

Kate walked toward me.

"Here," she said handing me a breakfast sandwich.

"Knowing you," she said, "You didn't have time to eat."

"Thanks," I said taking the sandwich.

"Don't thank me," she said.

She turned to the bleachers.

"It was her," she said.

I saw that she was staring at Rika.

I looked down at the sandwich.

It wasn't' like Rika to do something like this.

I sat there watching the game.

Henry made several baskets.

Takato and the others cheered.

I was on the edge of my seat.

"Rika," said Renamon.

I looked at her.

"Why did you make that for him?"

I haven't told her yet that I had feelings for Henry.

"It's complicated," I said.

"I know that you have feelings for him," said Renamon.

"You can tell?'

"Rika, you've been acting strange when you are around him or if his name is mentioned."

Leave it to Renamon; to find out what's wrong with me.

"What I don' understand is why did you make that for him."

"Love makes people do things that they won't normally do for the one they love."

"I see," said Renamon.

I stared up at Henry.

"You haven't told him yet, have you?"

I shook my head.

"Why not?"

"It is hard," I told her.

"Because, I don't know if he feels the same way."

"You're right," she said, "it is complicated."

I giggled.

The crown cheered.

Henry ran after another player from the other team who had the ball.

He grabbed the ball and ran off with it.

Terriermon leapt up from his seat and jumped for joy.

"Terriermon, stop it," said Suzie, "people will know that you're real."

He stopped but he cheered quietly.

Kenta howled as it came down to the last few seconds.

Henry ran the ball past another player and made another basket.

The whistle blew and the game was over.

Henry had scored the winning basket.

Everyone cheered.

I stood up and clapped with everyone else.

The team surrounded around Henry.

They lifted him up onto their shoulders.

"Way to go Henry!" Takato shouted.

"That's my tamer!" said Terriermon.

I smiled.

The crown had died down.

Only friends and family were left.

Henry came out of the locker room.

Terriermon flew into his arms.

"You were awesome man," said Kenta.

"That's my tamer," said Terriermon.

"You did great," said Jeri.

"Yeah way to go," said Kazu.

"You showed them," said Ryo.

"That was so cool Henry," said Suzie.

"You knocked them to the curve," said Takato.

I watched as everyone graduated him.

Renamon stood behind me.

Henry and the others walked in my direction.

I knew that I had to say something to him.

"Hey, Rika," he said, "thanks for coming."

"Sure," I replied, "Great game."

He smiled.

I could feel my knees shake.

"Way to go dude," said a boy with blonde hair putting him in a headlock.

"Hey Max let go," said Henry.

"Let 'im breath idiot!" said the girl that I always saw around Henry.

She punched the boy on the head.

"OW!" the boy cried.

"You two act like a couple," said Kenta.

"Gross," said the girl, "this idiot is my cousin."

"Could have fooled me," said Kenta.

"Aren't you going to ask her out Kenta?" I teased.

"Hey I was about to do that," he shouted.

"You want to go out with me?" she asked.

"Yeah," said Kenta, "How about it?"

She thought for a moment.

"Nope."

"Why not," Kenta whined.

She grabbed Henry's arm.

"Because my heart only belongs to one man, right Henry?"

"Hey don't get him involved in this Kate," he said.

"Looks like Henry is a ladies' man," said Ryo.

I could feel rage building up inside of me.

"I'm only kidding," said Kate, "besides, he likes…."

"Don' you dare finish that," Henry shouted.

"What?"

"You know what."

"I was only going to say that you like another girl."

"Kate!"

"You like a girl?' said Kenta.

"How come you never told me?" Takato asked.

"It's something that doesn't matter," he replied, "besides; she's out of my league."

"Out of your league?" said Terriermon, "Now way that's not possible."

Takato covered his mouth.

"Did that thing just talk?' Max asked.

"No," said Suzie.

Henry slapped his forehead.

Kate danced around Henry now.

"The girl he likes is amount us right now," she said.

"Kate shut up," Henry barked.

"Really where?' said Kenta looking around.

"Is she hot?"

"It depends on what you mean by hot," said Max.

"Don you start," Henry whined.

I wanted to know who this girl was.

I felt jealously forming inside me.

Renamon placed a hand on my shoulder.

I knew she was trying to comfort me but it didn't help.

"So, tell us who she is," said Takato.

"He doesn't have to," I said.

As much as I wanted to know who she was; I had to be respective of his feelings.

He mouthed 'thank you' to me.

"Rika is right," said Jeri, "When Henry is ready tell us then he will."

Good thing she was on my side.

Maybe I could tell her about my feelings.

Renamon and I could only talk for so long about it.

Renamon knew I wanted to know but still I choose to remain myself.

I knew that I would be tossing and turning in my sleep later.

Kenta didn't stop bugging him about the girl.

Henry tried to tell him that he wasn't' ready but Kenta didn't stop until I threw a rock at him.

"Nice shot," said Kate.

I didn't say anything to her.

I was afraid that I would snap at her.

The last thing I needed was for my feelings to come splitting out in front of everyone.

I got ready for school.

Renamon was staying behind to help my grandmother around the house which was fine; since there wasn't any digimon attacking right now.

I stepped out of the gate and saw Henry waiting for me.

"Ready?' he asked.

I nodded.

We walked down the street.

I was going crazy.

He was right here and we were alone but I couldn't build up the courage to say anything.

"So," he said trying to break the silence.

I wished he wouldn't talk.

I wanted to enjoy this moment in silence.

"What?" I asked.

"Did you see the news?"

He seemed like the silence was killing him.

"Yeah," I replied.

"What did you think about the bank robbery?"

"The same as most," I replied, "they will mess up and get caught."

I could feel my heart skip a beat.

I wondered if his was beating like mine.

He looked straight ahead.

We got to my school but I couldn't help but stare at him.

I pushed the sauce at him.

Everyone had met up at a diner after school.

Kenta tried to open the soy sauce.

Ryo opened it for him.

"Man you are weak Kenta," said Kazu.

"Oh yeah, like you can do better," Kenta shouted.

"Takato," said Jeri, "can I have the syrup?"

Takato handed her the syrup.

Henry sat next to me.

I felt our elbows touch.

"Sorry," he said pulling away.

I sighed.

I kept looking at Jeri and Takato; wishing I could be like that with Henry.

Jeri was feeding Takato from her plate; partly because Takato asked how it tastes.

I knew he was just trying to get her attention.

I smiled.

I could tease him right now but since Henry was sitting next to me; I couldn't talk.

Of course no one knew I liked him.

Kazu took the soy sauce from Kenta and poured it onto his food.

Henry had taken it when Kazu was done.

I kept playing with my food.

I didn't have much of an appetite lately; mostly I kept thinking about Henry.

"You okay Rika?' said a voice.

I looked up.

Jeri was staring at me.

"I'm fine," I replied.

Soon everyone's eyes fell on me.

"Seriously guys, I'm fine. I just don't have much of an appetite."

"Something's wrong," said Ryo.

Greez thanks Ryo I wouldn't have ever known.

"You sure that you're okay?" Henry asked.

I wanted to say that I was fine but my heart was pounding too hard for me to speak.

I knew he was staring at me and that made it worse.

"Rika," said Jeri," Your face is all red."

Henry felt my forehead.

My heart couldn't stop now.

I closed my eyes.

God help me.

"You are a little warm," he said, "maybe you should see a doctor?"

Could there be a doctor that could cure me of falling in love?

I knew there was no such thing and that I was stick feeling these things for a while or maybe even forever.

I had to think of something.

If this continued then….

I stood up.

"I'll be right back," I said then ran off into the bathroom.

I splashed some water on my face.

What was wrong with me?

"Rika?"

I looked to see Jeri standing there.

"Are you okay?"

No, I wasn't but I couldn't tell her that.

"I'm fine Jeri," I said, "I'm just not feeling myself today."

Renamon would have called me on that but she wasn't here.

Jeri gave me a hard look.

"Rika," she said, "Do you like Henry?"

I flinched.

Jeri studied my face.

"You do," she said, "don't you?"

Damn she catch on.

She smiled.

"So, you do like him."

I didn't say anything.

My cheeks turned red.

I turned to her.

"That's great," she continued, "Now I can help you."

"No," I replied, "You can't tell anyone Jeri."

She kept smiling.

"I'm not going to tell but I can help you get his attention."

I turned my head.

It was bad enough that Jeri caught me but now that she trying to help was even worse.

"I noticed by the way you acted when he touched you or looked at you."

I wanted to disappear.

Jeri grabbed my hands.

"You helped me with Takato and now it's my turn to help you."

But I knew she wouldn't listen to me.

"We should get you two alone," she said.

I tried to call to her but she already gone.

"JERI!" I roared.

That got her attention.

"You can't help me. I know Henry likes another girl and I am totally jealous but I want him to be happy."

"I know," she said, 'but I just think you guys make a cute couple."

I groaned.

I had lost her.

I looked down at my feet.

I wanted to wake up from this nightmare.

Jeri was going over different siroccos.

Can't I just crawl into a hole and die?

We came out of the girls' bathroom.

"Sorry it took so long," said Jeri.

"What was that all about Rika?' Kenta asked.

"Girl stuff," Jeri replied.

I looked at Henry.

He looked worried.

Jeri japed me in the side.

'Let's put my plan into action," she whispered.

"I didn't agree to this," I groaned.

"Kenta, Kazu Ryo and Takato," said Jeri, "can you help me with something?"

They looked at her.

Henry raised an eyebrow.

I knew he was curious too.

"Okay," said Takato.

The boys stood up even Henry.

Jeri placed a hand on his chest.

"You can stay here with Rika," she said.

She wicked at me.

I wanted to die.

Henry looked confused.

The others followed her.

She looked over her shoulder at me.

I groaned.

"What's up with Jeri?" Henry asked, "She's acting weirder than Kenta and Kazu."

I laughed.

"She's just being Jeri," I replied.

What was I suppose to say to him?

Jeri's plan was to get us alone so we can talk.

"Oh," said Henry holding up a to-go contender to me.

"I had them get this. You're food in it."

"Thanks," I replied taking it.

I noticed at the bill was already paid for.

"Who paid?" I asked.

"Takato for Jeri and him, the other guys paid for their own and I paid for yours and mine."

'Thanks," I said.

"I know can pay for your own food but thought since you weren't feeling good then…"

"Thanks."

He was blushing.

This was so hard.

I could tell that he want to say something.

I placed the contender down onto the table.

"You feeling okay?" I asked.

"I'm fine."

I was my turn to feel his forehead.

His cheeks turned red.

I could feel my own getting warm.

I pulled away.

It was uncomfortable just standing here.

He gripped my shoulder.

I stared into his eyes.

They were beautiful.

The next thing I knew; his lips were on mine.

I closed my eyes and leaned into the kiss.

My arms wrapped around his neck and I could feel his arms around my waist.

The world around us melted away.

It was just us and no one else.

My hand started running through his hair.

He leaned up against the table as we deepened the kiss.

"What the hell?!"

That brought us back to reality.

I looked to see the others sanding there.

Jeri was smiling.

I realized what just happened.

I quickly pulled back.

My face was so hot that I thought it was on fire.

I ran out the diner.

I could hear Henry call out after me.

I ran into an alleyway.

"Rika?' said Renamon as she came out of the shadows.

"Stupid, stupid," I said.

"Stupid, stupid, stupid."

I kept repeating myself over and over again.

"What's wrong?" she asked.

"I kissed him,'" I cried.

She didn't say anything.

"I'm so stupid."

"Rika!"

I looked and saw him standing there.

I looked up to see Terriermon floating over head.

That's how he found me.

"Just stay back," I barked.

"Why would I do that?" he asked taking a step toward me.

"Stop right there!"

"Rika," said Renamon.

"That kiss shouldn't have ever happened! Jeri had to get her two since into this!"

"I'm glad she did," he said.

He grabbed my wrist.

"Just stop it Henry!"

"Why?"

"You know why."

"No I don't just tell me."

I pulled my hand away.

I couldn't think of anything.

He smiled.

He knew it.

"You can't think of anything.

Terriermon landed beside him.

"You guys went through some kiss," he said, "for you to act like that."

"Terriermon," he said.

"What," he said, "I'm only trying to help."

"Well, you're not."

Renamon picked up Terriermon.

"Let's them be alone."

He nodded.

They disappeared.

Now it was just Henry and me.

I turned to him.

"I really did like that kiss," he said.

I could feel my heart pound as he came closer.

I wished he would just leave.

He placed his hand on my shoulder.

"Besides, I'm the one who should be freaking out here," he said with a smile.

"I'm the one that started that kiss."

He was right, I could have pushed away or slapped him but I didn't.

"It's not like that," I said.

He raised an eyebrow.

"Then what?"

I tried to speak but nothing came out.

"Look," he said turning away from me.

"I know you might think it's stupid and all but I really do like you. I know that seems stupid to you."

Why would it seem stupid?

He handed me the contender that I had forgotten about.

"I wanted to give this to you."

I took it.

How could he be acting cool when I was nearly falling apart?

I put his hands in his pockets.

I put my arms around him.

I couldn't take it anymore and since now I knew how he felt.

I couldn't let him get away from me now.

"Thank you," I said.

I could feel his body tension up.

I knew that I caught him off guard.

He probably wasn't exacting that.

He turned around.

"Rika….?"

I put my lips on his.

I could feel his arms around my waist.

I leaned into him.

I didn't this time who saw us, all that mattered what that he was mine and he knew it.

My mom and grandma were making a big deal when Jeri had told them that I was dating Henry now.

I wished she hadn't.

It took the others a while to realize it.

Henry walked toward me.

"It's getting pretty crazy here," he said.

I smiled at him.

I kissed his cheek.

Renamon watched us.

Terriermon was on Henry's shoulder.

"This could get some getting use to," he said.

"Tell me about it," said Renamon.

Henry and I laughed.

I heard a click and then a flash.

I turned to see my mom holding her camera.

"Mom," I cried.

"What was that for?' Henry asked.

"I wanted a picture of you two together," she replied, "my little girl's first boyfriend."

I groaned.

Henry rubbed the back of his neck.

"Hey lovebirds," said Kenta, "we're heading home."

"Okay," said Henry then he turned to me.

"I better get back too," he said, "my parents are going out tonight and I have to watch Suzie."

"Okay," I replied.

He kissed me.

I walked him to the gate with the others.

"See ya Rika," said Takato as he and Jeri walked off.

Kenta and Kazu walked off after saying their goodbyes.

Ryo left too.

Henry and I were alone now.

I liked it that way.

"See ya tomorrow," he said.

I nodded.

He kissed me again.

I kissed him back.

He walked off waving.

Terriermon flew after him.

Renamon was now at my side.

"You had an interesting day," she said putting a hand on my shoulder.

"Yeah," I replied.

Today was pretty interesting.

I finally got Henry to myself.

Who knew having Jeri know would help.

I walked back into the house.

My mom and grandma were talking about how much I've grown up.

I sat down.

"Now, maybe you would try some dresses," said my mother.

"No way," I said.

"Don't you want to look nice for Henry?"

"He knows that I didn't like dresses."

"But, this could make you more aware of your appearance."

"Leave it alone dear," said my grandma.

I sighed.

Was this how my mom was going to be from now on?

He give me a peak on my cheek and walked away.

I sighed.

I wished he would have hung around for a bit.

Well, that was until I walked into the house.

I walked into the house and heard my mother.

I walked into my room.

I saw Renamon sitting the corner of the room rolling her eyes.

I saw why when my mom popped her head out of my closest.

"What are you doing," I called.

She looked up.

I could see one of my shirts in her hand.

"I'm looking for a nice outfit for you," she said.

"Why," I groaned.

"For your date tonight."

"Mom," I whined grabbing one of my shirts on the floor.

Why did she have to do this?

"I just want you to look your best," said my mother.

She pulled out the dress I wore for that photo test she had me do.

"How about this?"

"No way," I said, "I told you; I don't like dresses."

She glared at me.

"Rika," she said.

I knew that tone.

"I am your mother and you will wear this for tonight."

"Mom, I can't wear this. Henry will make fun of me."

"Well then," she said with an evil smile.

"Let's make you look so beautiful that he won't."

Oh no.

"Hey," I said as my mom dragged me away.

"Renamon help," I called.

I could hear Renamon laughing.

Thanks a lot Renamon some partner.

I tried fighting but my mom won't stop.

"Let's do your makeup too."

"No makeup!" I cried.

She dragged me into the bathroom.

My grandma watched as she dragged inside.

"I'm doing this for your own good Rika."

"No, you're not," I shouted.

God why do moms have to be a pain?

"Mom," said my mother, "can you help me?"

"I thought we went over this," said my grandma.

"I want my daughter's first date to go well."

"Yes, but let Rika pick out her own outfit."

Love 4, first date (Henry)

I looked in the mirror.

I was dressed in dark dress pants and a blue buttoned up shirt.

"Big night?' my dad asked.

Terriermon smiled.

"Henry's got his first date with Rika tonight," he said.

I groaned.

Did he have to tell everyone?

Suzie came into the room.

"Henry, you look handsome," said my mom.

"Do I have to wear this?"

"It's your first date son," said my dad, "don't you want it to go well?"

"I do, but isn't this a little much."

My mom fixed my collar.

"Don't you like this girl?" she asked.

"Yeah, a lot," I replied.

"Then don't worry about it."

She looked at my hair.

"Let's do something about your hair."

My dad smiled.

"My boy is growing up," he said.

Suzie looked up at me.

"Henry looks handsome like a prince," she said.

She nodded.

Lopmon came into the room.

She had a bottle of jail in her hands.

"Here," she said handing it back to my mom.

"Did you want this?"

"Yes, thank you Lopmon," my mom replied taking the bottle.

My mom put some of the jail on my hands and rubbed them together.

I could feel her put it in my hair.

"There," she said, "don't play with your hair tonight."

I could see my other siblings peering into the room.

I groaned.

They had been teasing me about going on my first date from the first time I my forks about it.

My parents looked me over before I headed out the door.

My mom put flowers in my hand.

"You can't show up to a woman's house without some flowers," she said.

"Thanks mom, dad," I said.

Suzie smiled.

"Get going you knucklehead," said my dad.

I sighed.

"Good luck tonight Henry," said Terriermon as I headed out the door.

I stood in front of the gate leading to Rika's home.

I was getting nervous.

My heart pounded as I heard the gate opened.

I turned to see Rika's grandmother standing there.

"Hello Henry," she said, "please come in."

I followed her into the house.

"Please have a seat," she said, "I'll get Rika for you."

I nodded and sat down.

I saw Renamon sitting in the backyard watching fireflies.

I looked around the room.

I heard Rika's mom freak out when she heard that I was here.

Her grandmother stepped back out the room.

"She'll be right out."

She turned to Renamon.

"Renamon, could you get a vase please? Henry brought Rika flowers."

Renamon looked at us.

I knew she was looking at the flowers in my hand.

I knew that they were Rika's favorite.

Renamon was probably making sure that I got the right kind.

"Of course," she said then vanished.

I saw Rika's grandmother smile.

"She is such a great help around here."

I knew that.

Renamon would do anything to please Rika.

"We're ready," said her mother.

I heard them walking down the hall.

I excepted to see Rika in jeans and her hair up but I was wrong.

I looked up and my jaw dropped.

Rika was standing there in a dress and wit her hair down.

God she looked beautiful.

I started to think that I was unworthy of her.

I knew by the look on her mother's face that she was pleased by my reaction.

Renamon came back with a glass vase.

She saw Rika.

I could tell this was Renamon's first time seeing Rika dressed like that.

"Rika, you look beautiful," she said.

"Thanks Renamon," she said.

I stood up and walked over to her.

I couldn't speak.

"He's speechless," said her mother with a smile.

I was but I knew that Rika would want a responds.

"You do look beautiful," I said.

She blushed.

"Thanks," she said, "You look good."

Her mother whispered something in her ear.

Rika's face turned red.

"We should get going," said Rika.

"Right," I said handing her the flowers.

"Thank you," she said.

Renamon took the flowers and put them in the vase.

We had planned to go to see a movie but Rika's mom put two tickets for the nicest dance club in town, into my hand.

"Sorry about my mom," said Rika.

Renamon had decided to stay back at the house.

I knew that she wanted Rika to have a good time but she didn't want to be a third wheel.

We walked into the theater.

"Don't worry about it," I told her, "my parents were freaking out too."

I paid for the movie.

We walked into the theater and found two seats.

We were sharing a big bowl of popcorn.

The movie started as we sat down.

The room was dead quiet.

I looked at her.

I got nervous.

I didn't know what to do.

Why did I ask her out?

I had to do something.

She grabbed my hand.

I knew she was thinking the same thing.

I decided to put my arm around her.

She placed her head on my shoulder.

"You look kind of look like Ken from the show with your hair pulled back like that."

I laughed quietly.

We still loved the TV show.

I wasn't focusing on the movie.

I was too busying on think what to do.

The movie ended but I didn't want the date to end.

We decided to try out the dance club, all though; dance club wasn't what I would call it.

It was more like ballroom dancing.

I didn't know how to dance but either did Rika.

We sat and talked for a while until we actually got the courage to try dancing.

I took her hand in mine and led her onto the dance floor.

I placed one hand on her waist and held her hand in the other.

She placed her free hand on my chest.

I tried dancing the whiz but sucked at it.

We both did.

We ended up laughing about it afterwards.

"I'm actually having fun," she said, "even though I'm dancing like an idiot."

"Hey same here," I said.

We had stopped and returned to our seats.

"I don't why my mom struggled this place," she said, "We can't even dance the Whiz."

"Who knows," I said.

We laughed.

I was having fun.

She griped my hand.

I stared into her beautiful blue eyes.

I must be dreaming.

Those thoughts went through my head all night.

I wondered what she was thinking about.

I didn't just want to ask.

Rika wasn't the type to tell you what she was thinking.

I didn't realize that we had leaned forward onto the table.

I felt her lips pressed against mine.

I smiled and kissed her back.

The world melted away like water.

I couldn't breathe.

It was like she was taking the breath right out of me.

I touched her cheek.

I pray to god that this night never ends.

She gripped my shirt pulling me even closer.

I could feel my body burn up from desire.

I wanted to touch her and take her away.

I ran my fingers through her hair.

She did the same.

Soon, fire began inside me.

My body ached for her touch.

I never knew loving someone was so intoxicating.

A walk around the park seemed like a good idea at the time.

It was a little chilly.

I had given her my jacket.

"Aren't you cold?" she asked.

To tell ya the truth; I wasn't.

"No," I said, "I'm fine."

She grabbed my arm.

I could feel the heat in my face.

We walked down a trail.

Other couples walked by doing their own thing.

We saw Calumon floating around laughing.

We saw him playing with some birds.

"Hey guys," he said when he saw us.

"What's going on?"

"Hey Calumon," I said.

He landed on Rika's shoulder.

"You guys on a date?"

'Yeah," she replied.

He smiled and got of ff here shoulder.

"I'll leave you guys alone," he said.

We watched him fly off.

"Does he ever sleep?" I asked.

"I don't think so," she said.

We laughed.

We found a beach and sat down.

She leaned up against me as I put my arm around her.

I stared into her eyes.

Her lips pressed against mine for the third time tonight.

I wrapped one arm around her waist.

I touched her cheek.

She wrapped her arms around my neck.

I could feel my get body.

"Candle light anyone," said a voice.

We pulled away and turned to see Impmon holding up his Imp fire.

"What are you doing here?' Rika asked.

He jumped up onto the back of the beach.

"I was in town and saw you two lovebirds making out."

"So, you hold up your finger at us?" I asked.

"Just trying to set the mood."

"Well, you're ruining the mood," said Rika.

"Hey can't blame a guy for trying."

I groaned.

"Look, I'll leave but don't go crying to me when the mood isn't right."

He walked away.

"Why did he think that would help?' she asked.

I leaned back into the beach.

"Well, he had good tensions," I replied.

"I know," she said putting her head on my chest.

I smiled and wrapped my arm around her.

This had some interesting moments.

She looked up at me.

I leaned forward and pressed my lips against hers.

She pulled me closer.

Some how I ended on top of her while we were making out.

I placed my hands on her back.

Her arms around my neck and her hands running through my hair.

I hoped that nothing would interrupt this moment.

I heard my digivice beeping.

We pulled away.

"A digimon," she said.

We got up and ran in the direction where we saw a light.

We got the digital field and ran through it.

The moment we arrived; I could see a fire digimon standing there.

"Hey Henry Rika," a voice called.

Terriermon and Renamon landed.

"Perfect timing, 'said Rika.

We grabbed some cards.

We held up our digivices and swapped the cards.

"Digi-modify!" we cried, "Speed activate!"

Terriermon and Renamon took off with such speed.

"Terrier tornado!"

"Diamond Storm!"

Their attacks hit but no damage was done.

"Damn it, now what."

Rika reached for a card.

I had one out already.

"Terriermon, let's cold him off."

I swapped the card.

Terriermon leapt up into the air.

"Ice blast!" he cried.

He opened his mouth and ice shot out at the digimon.

Renamon leapt up and shot ice from her hand.

The digimon cried out in pain as the attacks hit.

The digimon turned into data.

"That was easy," said Rika.

"Too easy," I said.

"We'll leave you guys to your date," said Terriermon.

He and Renamon walked away.

I was glad that they understood.

"We got lucky with them as partners," I said.

"Yeah,' said Rika.

I turned to her.

"Should we continue?"

She pulled me closer to her.

"We do have a little time before my mom and grandmother except me home."

We kissed.

We walked up to Rika's house.

Renamon was waiting for her by the gate.

"I had fun tonight," she said.

"Yeah, me too," I replied.

"Do you want your jacket back?'

"Na, you keep it," I said, "they issue them to every athlete at school. So, I'll get another one."

She smiled.

"Okay," she said.

She wrapped her arms around my neck and pulled me closer.

I smiled.

I wrapped my arms around her waist.

Our lips pressed against each other.

I ran my fingers through her hair one last time for the night.

Like so many times tonight the world faded away.

I couldn't feel my legs.

I kissed her hard.

I heard her moaned with pleasure.

We pulled away for air.

"Good night," she said giving a peak on the cheek.

"Good night," I replied.

I watched as she and Renamon walked into the yard.

Renamon closed the gate behind her.

I smiled and turned to walk away

I got home.

When I opened the door Terriermon leapt up at me.

"How was the rest of your date?' he asked.

"Good," I told him.

He laughed happily.

"Welcome home," said my dad.

"Hey dad," I said.

"Did you have fun?"

"Yeah, it was."

"That's good, I hope you were a gentler men all night."

My mom walked into the room.

"Oh Henry, "she said, "Welcome home."

"Did the date go well?"

"Yeah it did," I said, "we went to see a movie and tried dancing with tickets her mom got us and then we hung out at the park."

"May," said my dad, "sounds like a date to me."

I smiled.

"What did she think of your outfit?"

"She said I looked great."

"Oh she liked it," said my mom.

"Yeah but she looked amazing tonight."

My parents smiled.

I knew they were happy for me.

I looked down at Terriermon.

He was smiling too.

"She did look nice," he said, "I didn't want to say something to ruin your date. So I kept quiet. I can't believe she wore a dress."

"I have a feeling her mom made her wear that," I said.

"You're right; Rika wouldn't be caught dead in a dress."

He laughed.

"Time for bed," said my dad.

I couldn't go to sleep, not with tonight events in my head.

I walked to my room.

I should try to get some sleep though.

Love 5, jealousy (Rika)

I woke up the next day but didn't get out of bed just yet.

I kept thinking about my date with Henry last night.

I did have fun.

I never thought that I would ever be dating anyone.

I sat up and looked at my clock.

It was the weekend, so I didn't have to hurry.

I got up finally and got dressed.

I noticed his jacket hanging up in my closest.

I walked over to it and pulled it off the hanger.

I held it close.

It smelled like him.

I love that smell.

I put it back onto the hanger.

I stepped the room.

My mom and grandma were up and watching the news.

Renamon was sitting at the table.

I walked over to the freeze and pulled out the orange juice contender.

I grabbed a cup and poured the orange juice into the cup.

"Good morning Rika," said Renamon.

"Morning Renamon," I said dreamily.

That surprised her.

She stared at me.

I couldn't help but smile.

I never thought I would ever act like I got bite by some stupid love bug.

I could see a smile formed on Renamon's face.

I knew she was happy and I was.

"Good morning Rika," said my mom, "you're glowing today."

I tried to straighten my face but the smile wouldn't go away.

My grandma turned.

"You do look happier than usual," she said with a smile.

My mom made a big deal out of it.

"Oh, my little girl is in love!"

I took a sip of my orange juice.

"Rika, if you plan to go out and hang out with your friends today," said my grandma, "put on a jacket, its chilly out."

I nodded.

I thought about Henry's jacket in my closest.

I could wear that.

Renamon and I always went out so it was excepted.

I walked to the park with Renamon behind me.

I was wearing Henry's jacket.

I saw him walking toward the park.

I was going to wave to him but stopped.

I saw her!

That girl Kate was around him.

They were talking about something.

I could feel rage building up inside me.

"Rika?' said Renamon.

I walked over to them.

I saw their friend Max running after them.

"Hey wait up,'" he called.

"Well hurry up ya slowpoke," said Kate.

When I got there Henry saw me.

"Hey there Rika," he said.

The rage faded away.

I couldn't get angrily at him now.

He is so cute.

He smiled at me.

I noticed that he was wearing a black jacket.

"Hey there Henry's girl," said Max.

"I told you her name is Rika," Henry snapped.

"Whatever," he said.

"You know he sucks at names and faces," said Kate.

She noticed that I was wearing Henry's jacket.

"Someone had fun last night," she teased.

My face turned red.

"We just had a date," said Henry, "nothing like what you think."

"Whatever," she said.

She hung on him.

I could feel the rage building up again.

"Kate should learn when to quit," said Max, "I think you're making her jealous."

"Well, that's just means she loves him," she said.

She turned to me.

"Don't worry," she said, "I'm gay."

I raised an eyebrow.

I couldn't tell that she was gay by the way she acted around Henry.

"Speaking of which," said Henry, "Did you ask Mai out?"

"No, not yet," she said with a sigh.

Why didn't' I buy that; probably because she was hanging on my boyfriend.

Kate jumped off.

Henry put his arm around me.

"Don't worry," he said, "she really is gay."

He turned to Max.

"You planned on hanging up with Allan later?"

"Not yet," he said.

"I thought you told me that you two were going girl hunting," said Kate.

"We did but he rescheduled."

"Why?' Henry asked.

"He didn't say."

"Probably answering another booty call," said Kate.

Henry pushed his hair out of his eyes.

I looked over to Renamon.

She was hiding but I could still see her watching us.

"Terri still wants you," Max said to Henry.

That made me even madder.

"Did you tell her that I have a girlfriend?"

"She doesn't believe me. She wants to hear it from you."

"I'll talk to her to on Monday."

He ran his hand though my hair even though it was tied.

"Actually, you should talk to her now," said Max.

I looked to see a blonde girl running toward us.

"Oh man," said Henry, "Why now."

"it sucks to be you man," said Max.

"I can pretend like I'm interested in her," said Kate, "she runs every time."

"Thanks but I didn't need you do that."

"Henry!" the girl called happily.

"Hey Terri," said Henry.

"What are you doing here?" she asked, "I thought you would be at the court practicing?"

"Don't have to," Henry replied.

He looked at me.

"By the way Terrier this is Rika my girlfriend."

Terri got really close to my face.

I could see Renamon getting ready to jump in if she had to.

"So, you're the girl that took Henry from me."

"We weren't even a couple," Henry groaned.

Max whispered into my ear.

"Don't worry; she gets a new crush on a guy every week."

"What's so special about you?" Terri asked.

She studied me.

"You look like you are a tomboy."

"Don't get too close to me," I said, "your breath snicks."

Max was trying to hide his laugher.

"What do you mean by that," she barked.

"I mean you smell like you've kissed a lot of boys."

Kate laughed.

"I like her," she said to Henry.

Henry was trying not to laugh.

Max couldn't hold his laugher in.

He burst out laughing.

Terri grabbed me by the collar of my shirt.

"Listen you bitch," she hissed, "for your information! I'm looking for the one."

"Yeah, the one that will lay down for you," said Max.

Terrie glared at him.

Henry pulled her away from me.

"That's enough Terri," he said, "Look I'm taken so stop it."

She glared at me.

"Hey Henry, Rika," a voice called.

I saw Takato running toward us.

"Yo Takato," said Henry.

Terri had turned to Takato now.

"Who's that cutie," she said.

"Told ya," said Max.

"That's Takato," I said, "he's a friend of Henry and I. He also has a girlfriend."

Jeri would thank me later for this.

Takato walked toward us.

I saw Guilmon and Terriermon were now by Renamon.

They were talking while trying to remain hidden.

Poor Takato got tackled by Terri.

"Hi there," she said.

Kate walked over and grabbed her by the collar of her shirt.

"Did you hear Rika," she said, "he's taken."

"What that all about?' Takato asked as Henry helped him up.

"Yeah, sorry about her Takato," he said, "she goes to my school. She has crushes on every boy she meets.,"

"Well, that's crazy," said Takato.

"Tell me about it," I said sounding a little jealous.

"Looks like Rika is jealous," said Takato.

"Well, she hit on me not too long ago in front of her."

"Oh boy," said Takato, "that's something no one should do."

I was glad Takato understood that.

"Hey did you give Rika your jacket?"

"Yeah, so?" said Henry, "that's what guys do. Give their girls gifts."

"I got to give Jeri something."

"Boy, you really are slow, aren't you?"

"Rika that's mean."

Kate laughed.

"You two are like a comedy act," she said.

I was starting to like her now.

Max laughed too.

"Where did you meet these guys?' he asked Henry.

"I've known them for about four years," he said.

"You are now just dating Rika?' Kat asked.

"Oh Henry, you are slow."

"Kate," he whined.

He looked so cute when he reacted like that.

The five of us sat down under a tree for shade.

Takato brought food with him.

He had brought too much for him and Guilmon but Guilmon has a huge appetite.

Renamon Terriermon and Guilmon were eating close by but were still hidden.

Calumon appeared.

Guilmon gave him some food.

"Man, it's got to be great to have folks that have their own bakery," said Max.

"You use to it," said Takato.

"Max has a big appetite," Henry pointed out.

He whispered this last part to where only Takato and I could hear it.

"Like Guilmon."

The three of us tried to hide our laugher.

"That would be interesting seeing him and Guilmon having an eating contest," Takato whispered.

"I put my money on Guilmon," I whispered.

We covered our mouths.

"What's so funny over there?' Kate asked.

"It's an inside joke between us," said Henry.

Kate and Max went home.

I learned from Kate that she and her older brother moved into Henry's apartment and they were on the same floor too.

Guilmon, Terriermon, Calumon and Renamon came out of hiding.

"Hey Guilmon we met someone who could probably beat you in an eating contest," said Takato.

"Someone who can out eat Guilmon," said Terriermon, "That'll be the day."

We all laughed.

Guilmon titled his head.

"You do eat a lot," said Calumon.

Guilmon fell over.

"I think we fired his brain," I said.

"He'll be fine," said Takato, "he does this all the time."

We heard Guilmon snoozing.

"No way," I said, "He's asleep!"

"Told ya," said Takato.

"Well, you didn't say that he'll fall asleep," I cried.

"Sorry," said Takato.

Henry leaned against the tree truck.

Terriermon and Calumon were having a fast to see who could climb the highest.

"Anyway, since last night," said Henry, "it's been quite."

"You're right," said Renamon, "That doesn't make sense."

"Aren't they recovering from the D-Reaper?" Takato asked.

"That was years ago in the digital world," said Renamon, "Time passed differently there than it does here."

I lied on the grass.

"We still have recovered from the D-Reaper after four years," I said.

"True," said Henry, "but that doesn't explain why only one digimon has shown up so far."

"Yeah, but what do you think could be the reason," I asked Renamon.

I had closed my eyes now.

"I'm not sure Rika," she replied.

"Well," said Takato, "let's just say that we get some time off fighting digimon."

"We had some time off for four years," I pointed out.

"Well it gives us time to focus on other things," said Henry, "We'll have to wait for a digimon to show up like always."

Takato let out a cry.

I looked up.

Calumon had fallen on his head.

"Calumon what are you doing," he said grabbing him.

Calumon laughed.

Terriermon landed on Henry's head.

"Got bored?" Henry asked.

"Calumon beat me," he whined.

"I won," said Calumon.

"Yeah well go on the playground set," said Takato.

Terriermon and Calumon jumped into Guilmon's stomach.

Guilmon woke up.

"Tag," they said before taking off.

Guilmon got up and ran after them.

"Renamon go join them," I said.

"Rika, "she said.

"She's right," said Henry, "you derive some fun too."

Renamon stood up and walked over to the boys.

"That was different," said Takato.

"Oh shut up," I said.

"What's with the change Rika?" he asked.

"I just think she should play, that's all."

Henry lied down beside me.

"More like you have something on your mind that you don't want her to hear."

"Is that it?" Takato asked.

"Maybe," I said.

"You guys know that I have a half-brother, right?" I asked.

"Yeah," they said.

"Well, he's coming over for a visit and he doesn't know about Renamon."

"Is your mom okay with him coming?"

"It was her idea. She says that we should get to know each other."

"They want me to go to the airport to get him."

"When is he coming?"

"A month."

"Is he okay with you having a boyfriend?" Takato asked.

I touched Henry's arm.

"He would try to kill you," I said.

"Then, I should be careful while he's around."

He kissed me.

"Do you want us there at the airport when he comes?" Takato asked.

"Yeah," I said, "I think you guys should meet him."

I turned to Henry.

"Especially you."

"I know," he said, "but I'll be careful."

"Why haven't you told Renamon"/" Takato asked.

"It isn't worth her time," I said.

"If it involves you then it is," said Henry.

I rolled onto my stomach.

I kept my eyes on him.

"Renamon shouldn't worry about this."

"That's fine," he said, "We understand, right Takato?'

Takato nodded.

I smiled.

I knew that I could depend on them.

After all we were best friends.

I walked home that day.

Renamon was behind me.

"Rika," she said.

"Hey?" I asked.

"Is there something you don't me to know?"

"Why would you ask me that?' I asked.

My cell phone rang.

I checked the caller ID.

It was my half-brother.

"Hello?" I said.

"Yo sissy," he said.

"What did I say about calling me that?" I said.

"Whatever, hey listen my pane is about to land."

"WHAT BUT YOU WEREN'T LAND FOR ANOTHER MONTH!"

I ran toward the airport.

"Rika," Renamon called.

Why does he do this?

I got to the airport.

I looked around.

"Where is he?" I said.

I walked around.

"Yo sissy," said a voice.

The next thing I knew was that I was in a headlock.

"RAY!" I cried punching him in the gut.

He let go.

"Why do you always do this?!" I barked.

"Because it gets under your skin," he said.

I rolled my eyes.

Ray looks just like me but only he was a boy.

People say that we look like our dad.

He smiled.

"So, what has my little princess sister been up to?"

I kicked him in the knee.

That was how I always greeted him.

"Glad to see you too," he said.

"Stupid," I said, "Dad is going to kill you for this later."

"Hey about that…."

"You got into a fight with him?" I asked as we walked back to my house.

"Yep," he said, "so, I got on a pane early."

"That's doubt," I said, "You're going to call him later."

"Yeah well, I tossed my phone."

I kicked him again.

"Why are you so stupid!"

"That hurts sissy," he said.

We got to my house.

I saw Henry standing there talking with my grandma.

"Oh Rika," said my grandma, "I see, Ray came early again."

"Hey there," said Ray.

He eyed Henry.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

"I was just in the neighborhood," he said.

I saw Ray standing there.

"Oh Yeah, Ray it's nice to see you again," he said.

"Yo," said Ray.

"Henry was just dropping off some Angel Food Cake that his mother made," my grandma replied.

"Well, she made too much," he said rubbing the back of his head.

I grabbed his arm and dragged him away.

"I'll be right back," I said.

"What," said Henry.

"That whole Angel Food Cake thing is just a cover up to see me, right?"

"You caught me," he said, "Anyway, I wanted to ask if you wanted to go camping."

"Camping?" I asked.

"Yeah, Takato invited me and the others camping with him this weekend but he could get a hold of you; so, I decided to ask you in person but since Ray is here then I guess you wouldn't come."

I kissed him to shut him up.

"I can come," I told him.

"I'll just have to bring Ray with."

"Okay," he said.

"You can tell goggle-head that I'm coming and I'm bring my brother."

"Sure thing," he said.

We kissed again.

"I never thought you would be dating my sister."

We turned to see Ray standing there.

"What are you doing?" he asked.

"Why did you follow us," I growled.

"Dud," he said, "what little brother wouldn't miss a choice to learn his sister's secret."

"You're the worst," I shouted.

Ray sticks his tongue out at us.

"You're going to lose that," I barked.

Ray took off laughing.

"Brothers," I hissed.

Henry put a hand on my shoulder.

"Why did you two always act like that?"

"I don't know," I said, "he just gets under my skin."

"He's your brother, that's his job," he said, "My siblings do the same to me too. That's what siblings are for."

"I guess you're right," I said.

He smiled.

"I'll Takato when I see him later," he said.

Of course he would; Henry and Takato were always hanging out talking about guy stuff.

People had said that you couldn't find Takato, Henry or myself without each other or one or the other.

I've never really thought about it.

We were just together hanging out.

Henry kissed my cheek.

"I better go," he said, "You got a nosy brother to punish and I got basketball practice."

I nodded.

We kissed again and he took off.

I watched him walk away.

Renamon stepped out from the shadows.

I knew that I had to tell her about Ray.

"Rika," she said, "your grandmother is looking for you."

"Okay," I said walking off.

I was trying to hide the blush on my face but I knew Renamon didn't need to see it to know.

That was our bond after all.

Love 6, lost in the forest alone (Henry)

"Are you guys ready to go?' asked my dad.

He was going to take us to the campsite.

"Yep," said Kenta as he got into the van.

I struggled putting everyone's stuff in.

A hand helped pushed me the bags into the back.

I looked and saw Rika standing there.

"Thanks for the help," I said.

"Don't mention it," she said, "all though some people should build a backbone and give a hand."

She looked at Kenta who stick his out at her.

Jeri got into the van with Kazu behind her.

Calumon hopped onto Jeri's lap.

Takato climbed in the back with Guilmon, Leomon and Renamon.

"I told dad to get a bigger van," I said.

"Just how could he do that?" Rika asked, "does he have money to rent a bus?"

"I know but we really need more room."

"Look," said Rika, "I know its tight but we have to do with what we got."

I knew she was right.

Suzie came out with Lopmon.

Jeri and Rika helped her into the van and put her belt on.

Ryo wasn't coming; he had something going on with his family.

I was glad that we didn't have more coming.

"Yo Henry," said Kate as her brother's car pulled up.

"Hey Kate," I said.

"Your dad said that you could use some help."

"Are you coming?" Rika asked.

"Yep, "said Kate's brother Tristan.

"Hey there Henry," he said.

"Hey Tristan," I said.

My dad came toward the car.

"Thanks for coming," he said.

"Don't mention it," Tristan replied.

Max popped his head out of the back seat.

"Hey there lovebirds."

I knew he meant Rika and me.

Jeri, Suzie and Kazu got into Tristan's car.

Calumon and Lopmon got into the car too.

Guardomon somehow found space.

Takato and Guilmon moved up next to Kenta.

Rika sat between the driver and passenger seat.

I got into the front seat.

"Ready?" said my dad.

"Yeah dad," I said, "That's everyone."

"Henry," a voice called.

I looked to see Terri standing there.

Crap, why was she here?

I got out.

"What are you doing here," I asked.

"I'm going on the camping with you," she said.

"Who invited you," Rika growled getting out of the car behind me.

"Henry did," she said.

"No I didn't," I said as Rika glared at me.

She turned back to Terri.

I thought Rika was going to kill her.

Renamon had gotten out and grabbed Rika's shoulder.

"Calm down Rika," she said.

"Henry," said Terri, "You told me about this camping trip."

"Yeah," I said, "you asked if I had plans this weekend and I told you that I was going camping with my friends."

Rika grabbed my arm and dragged me to the car.

"Don't waste your breath," she said.

Renamon followed us.

We got back into the van.

"She's coming?" my dad asked.

"No," Rika growled.

"She's not dad," I told him.

"I see," he said.

Tristan beeped at Terri.

"Ya know guys don't like it when you do something like this when you are not invited."

I knew Tristan had my back.

"Ignore her Rika," said Kate, "She's living in her own little world."

"That better be just that," Rika growled.

I put my arm around her shoulder

"Don't worry," I told her, "I only have eyes for you and Terri is just crazy."

"Kiss me," she demanded.

I did.

"I think you can go now Mr. Wong," said Takato.

My dad started the car and drove off.

I could see Terri in the rearview mirror as we drove away.

We got to the campsite in no time.

Tristan and I were unpacking the cars.

Renamon, Leomon and Guardomon handed the bags to their owners.

"So, that Rika chick," said Tristan, "She's your girl huh?"

"Kate told you," I said.

He nodded.

"I can tell when people got the hots for each other and boy did she have the hots for you."

I stared at him.

"What," he said, "Come one Henry, I was fifteen myself too you know."

"I know," I said, "But I wouldn't say 'hots' to describe a relationship."

"Then how would you describe?' he asked.

I couldn't reply at the moment because Max put me in a headlock.

"You lucky dude," he said.

"What are you talking about," I asked getting out his grasp.

"Dud," he said, "We're in the forest."

I raised an eyebrow.

Tristan laughed.

"Max, explain it to him will ya," he said.

Max sighed and shook his head.

Terriermon ran past us with Suzie and Lopmon.

"Look the forest is a private place and your girlfriend is here so that means for you pal, some one on one time with Rika."

I didn't understand.

Tristan sighed.

"He's saying that you could get Rika alone and do unmentionable things to her."

"Are you nuts!"

"What," said Max, "Come on you haven't thought it?"

"That's none of your business," I roared.

I could feel the heat on my face.

I knew that my face was so red.

I could get Rika alone but there was one problem; Renamon never left her side.

They didn't think about Renamon.

I did.

We wouldn't be alone.

Besides, I had Terriermon.

It wouldn't matter then.

But I have thought about it, a lot but I knew Rika wouldn't go for it.

What teenage boy would think about stuff like that?

I shook my head.

"That's not going to happen," I told them.

"Why not?" Max asked.

"Because, his dad and I aren't going to let that happen, I may be young but even I have limits."

"That," I said, "but she has a guardangel that follows her around."

"You mean Renamon?" asked Tristan.

They had learned about digimon thanks to Impmon.

He had to pop up when I was at Kate's house with Max.

I told them all about my adventures with digimon.

Max stared at Rika and Renamon who were putting up a tent.

Rika handed Renamon a pole.

I knew that Renamon wouldn't let anything like that happen to Rika unless Rika wanted it.

I knew that.

"You got a point," he said, "That digimon hasn't left her side since we got there."

"She never does," I said, "besides; I'm not ready for something like that."

I really wasn't.

I walked over to help Takato set up his tent.

I had to get away from Max and his crazy ideas.

Kenta, Kazu and Max ended up sharing a tent.

Kate shared a tent with Suzie.

Jeri and Rika were together in one tent.

My dad and Tristan had another tent.

So, that left me with Takato, which was fine.

Takato wouldn't put stupid dirty thoughts in my head in the middle of the night.

I lied in my tent.

Terriermon was curled up on my chest fast asleep.

Takato and Guilmon were fast asleep too holding each other.

I couldn't sleep and not because of what Max had said earlier but because Guilmon snores like a train.

I gently removed Terriermon from my chest and climbed out the tent.

Renamon was up too staring at the stars.

I walked over to her.

"Don't you ever sleep?" I asked.

"I do," she said turning to me.

"Why are you awake?"

"Guilmon snores, "I said, "I don't know how Takato can sleep through that."

"I thought that was Terriermon having big lungs, "she said.

Renamon rarely showed up a sense of humor, so whenever she did it was a treat.

"Funny," I said.

Terriermon can yell a lot.

So, I got the joke.

I sat down beside her looking up at the stars.

I had always loved the outdoors.

It was peaceful.

I could hear Guilmon snoring through the tent but other than that, it was peaceful.

I had been camping before but I never came with my dad in a while.

Suzie hardly went camping so this was great for her.

Renamon kept looking at the stars.

We heard footsteps and looked.

Leomon stepped out from the shadows.

"Looks like I'm not the only up," he said.

"You try sleeping in the same tent as Guilmon," I said.

He laughed.

"I do enjoy the wildness," he said, "it can relax the soul."

"I know what you mean," I said.

Leomon sat down beside me.

"So, what were you and your friend Max talking about?" he asked, "you reacted very strangely."

My face got warm.

"I don't want to talk about that," I said waving my hand.

"Too embarrassing?" Leomon asked.

"Yeah," I replied.

"Then I won't bring it up again."

I sighed with relief.

Renamon and Leomon were ones to let things go if it wasn't too serious.

I thought that Renamon would kill me if you told her with Max said.

I had to avoid talking about that in front of her.

I knew Renamon wouldn't really kill me since that would make Rika unhappy but I have enough respect for Renamon and Rika to even mention it around them both."

Rika could kick my ass and Renamon would let me have it.

I lied onto the ground.

"By the way," I said to Renamon.

"Where's Rika's brother?"

"Their father had come and took him home," she replied.

"So, he's in trouble."

"I didn't know that Rika has a brother," said Leomon.

"Either did I," said Renamon.

"He's her half-brother," I said, "Takato and I met him three years ago. He lives with their dad in Hong Kong."

"I see," said Leomon, "they have the same father."

I nodded.

"That's what half-siblings means," I said, "they have the same dad but different moms."

They nodded.

"Humans have confusing lives," said Leomon.

"It depends on which human you're talking about," I said.

He chuckled.

"Henry," said Renamon.

I looked at her.

"When did you start to have feelings for Rika?"

I sat up.

"Tell ya the truth Renamon," I said, "I never thought about that. I felt there was something between Rika and I from the day we met but I told myself it was because we both had digimon and were tamers but after the D-Reaper and then I realized that I really liked her. I began to feel strange around her and I couldn't control what I said in front of her."

I lay back down.

The memory came flooding back to me.

"When we were walking home from school; we ran into Takato. So the three of us started walking home together, talking about the old days when a gang jumped us. Takato got knocked out and Rika and I were holding them off."

The rage came back too.

"One of them pulled out a knife that was coming right for me. Rika pushed me out of the way and the knife pierced her heart."

I looked at Renamon.

I knew hearing that Rika got hurt, angered her.

"Rika and Takato ended up going to the hospital. I didn't need to but I went with them. Takato had only cuts and burses but nothing severe. Rika on the other hand had to be hospitalize for days. Takato and I visited her every day. She barely made it but somehow she did. I was afraid that we would lose her and it would be my fault. That's when I realized that I didn't' just like her but I actually love her."

"That wasn't your fault," said Leomon.

"Yes, Rika is always like that," said Renamon.

I nodded.

"I know but it wasn't called for."

"What happened wasn't your fault that all, Rika was just protecting you."

I nodded.

I yawned.

I didn't realize that it was late now.

I closed my eyes.

I woke up in my tent.

I figured Renamon or Leomon had put me in my tent.

"Morning Henry," said Suzie with a smile.

Lopmon and Terriermon were on other side of her.

"We're going hiking today."

She ran out of the tent.

I turned to see that Guilmon and Takato were already up.

Terriermon popped in my line of sight.

"You getting up?" he asked.

"I will," I told him, "just get out of my face, will ya."

"Moment Ty," he said.

I groaned.

I got up and got dressed.

I could smell breakfast cooking.

I saw everyone else gathered around the fire waiting for their meal.

Max put me in another headlock.

"Morning sleepyhead," he said.

"Get off," I said pushing him off.

He smirked at me.

"Did Suzie tell you?"

I stared at him.

"That we're going hiking, yeah."

He sighed.

"They want us to pick partners," he said.

"Digimon or human," I asked.

"Very funny," he said.

"Look, that's your chance to get Rika alone."

I knew that Rika would probably end up with Jeri and I would get Suzie.

Tristan put us both in a headlock.

"You boys behaving?" he asked.

I heard Terriermon laugh.

I looked down at him.

He stood there beside me.

Tristan let us go after a while.

"Come on boys," he said, "time to eat."

The time came to choose our hiking buddy.

Jeri and Takato paired up thanks to Kate shrugging it to Takato with Rika's help.

Kate became Suzie's partner.

Kenta and Kazu were of course partners, Max got picked with them so that Rika and I get some alone time.

I knew that Max had another reason behind it.

Terriermon and Renamon followed behind us.

I didn't mind being paired up with Rika.

We walked up the trail near the campsite.

Terriermon was skipping along.

"So, what were you talking to Max about yesterday?" Rika asked.

I raised an eyebrow.

"The way you freaked out when we got to the site," she explained.

"Nothing important," I replied feeling my face turn red.

"It didn't seem like nothing," she said.

I had to change the subject.

Rika wasn't to let this go.

"Spit it," she said stopping and jumped right in front of me.

Her hands were on her hips as she stared me down.

I didn't want Terriermon and Renamon to hear.

I sighed.

"You wouldn't like it," I said.

"Try me," she replied.

I whispered in her ear.

I figured that the was the best way of telling her without the other two hearing us.

Her face turned red.

"Renamon," she said.

"Yes?" Renamon replied.

"Take Terriermon and go on ahead," she said, "I need to talk to Henry alone."

"Hey wait a minute," Terriermon protested.

"Of course," said Renamon.

She picked up Terriermon and went ahead.

"Hey wait a minute," Terriermon cried but they were gone.

Rika made sure they were really gone before speaking.

"Did he really say that?" she asked.

"Yeah, "I replied, "I told him that it's none of his business what we do with our relationship and that he should stay of it."

Her face was red.

"Did you tell him that we weren't ready?' she asked.

I nodded.

"Your friend is sick."

"Tell me about it."

"Why do people try to get involve, she groaned, "Kate said something similar."

"Sorry about that."

"They can't stay out of this?"

She kicked a small rock.

"I don't why but people do," I replied.

She stared at me.

"What brought this on?'

"He just said since we were in the woods."

I didn't need to say the rest.

Rika groaned.

I knew how she felt.

This was between us and yet everyone had to butt in.

"We did do the same with Takato and Jeri," I pointed out.

She stared at me.

"I know but that's because Takato and Jeri kept screwing up."

"Yeah, I know but we still did the same thing."

"They kept drawing us into it."

"Yeah, but we could've just walked away but we didn't."

"Do people think that are screwing up our relationship?"

I could hear the worry in her voice.

"No way," I said grabbing her hand.

"We aren't, people just want to help that's all."

"Well they should stop."

I had to agree with her.

I pulled her closer to me.

She smiled.

She wrapped her arms around my neck and pulled me into a kiss.

I put my arms around her waist and returned the kiss.

The world faded away like it always did when we kissed.

I could hear her moan with pleasure.

Her tongue licked at my mouth to grain entrance.

I allowed her in.

Our tongues fought for dormice.

My hand went up her back.

With each second that passed she stole my breath.

She moaned with pleasure several times.

I couldn't tell how long we've been kissing the moment we pulled away for air.

I was out of breath and so was she.

She smiled.

I smiled too.

I went for another kiss but a sound ruined the moment.

We looked.

A rock sidle roared down.

We didn't have time to get out of the way.

The rocks hit us, knocking us both off the trail.

I could hear Terriermon and Renamon calling out for us.

We rolled down the trail side.

I opened my eyes.

I could see that we fell off the cliff.

Rika sat up.

"That hurts," she groaned.

"You okay?" I asked standing up and helped her up.

"Yeah," she replied taking my hand.

"Where are we?"

I looked up.

"We fell off the cliff.

I remembered the cause for it.

I looked around.

The rocks were all around us.

"How do we get back?' she asked.

I looked for a way back.

"I don't know, "I said realizing that we couldn't climb back up.

"Renamon and Terriermon were up there," she said, "I heard them when we fell."

I nodded.

"So, now what?"

"Well, we can't climb," I said, "we should probably wait here. I'm should that Renamon and Terriermon will come to find us or may go for help."

She nodded.

We sat down onto two rocks nearby.

"That was some rock sidle," I said.

"What do you think caused it?"

"Who knows."

She placed her head on my shoulder.

"I wonder if the others realized what happened."

"They probably did and are looking for us right now."

I grabbed her hand.

We were lost but that didn't mean that it wasn't a bad thing.

We could talk and have a moment together.

"This reminds me when we all got separated in the Digital World, remember?"

She growled.

"Don't remind me," she said, "I got stick with Kenta and Kazu. They were completely useless and on top of that Ryo showed up and I was made to look like the bad guy."

I smiled.

"I remembered," I replied, "you know, when we were on the arc and you haven't shown up; I volunteered to go looking for you."

"Why did you? I would have been glad if it was you instead of Ryo."

"I know that now but Ryo got the jump ahead of me so I couldn't."

"Were you worried?"

"Of course I was, we all were."

She smiled.

"Promise me if something like that happens again that you'll be the one that comes after me not Ryo."

"I promise."

"You swear?"

"I swear."

It was nice sitting like this; just the two of us.

No one to tease us, no one to critiques us, it was just us.

That's the way I liked it.

Rika and I alone with no eyes watching.

I closed my eyes.

I just wanted to enjoy this moment a little longer.

I could hear voices.

"Renamon, they're over here."

I opened my eyes.

Terriermon and Renamon were standing there.

"You two okay," Terriermon asked jumping into my lap.

"Yeah," I replied petting his head.

He smiled and laughed.

"You aren't hurt?" Renamon asked.

"No," Rika replied.

"Henry, Rika," a voice called.

I saw Takato and the others running toward us.

"Thank goodness," said my dad.

'You lovebirds alright?" Tristan asked.

"Yeah," I replied.

"What happened?" Takato asked.

I looked up at the trail.

"A rock sidle," I said.

Max turned to Kenta.

"I told you that, that was dangerous," he hissed.

"How was I supposed to know that would cause a rock sidle," said Kenta.

"That was you," Rika growled.

Kenta flinched.

"I'm gonna kill you!"

She threw a rock at Kenta's head.

Kenta ran back to camp.

"We should go back too," said my dad.

I nodded.

We got back to camp.

Kenta was hiding from Rika for the rest of the day.

Terriermon called Kenta a scary-cat.

"Hey you try facing Rika when she's in a mood," Kenta cried.

Rika spun around and gave him a death glare.

Kenta ran and hide in his tent.

"I think he's going hide the rest of the trip," said Takato.

"Looks that way," I replied.

"Rika," said Jeri, "I think you tolerated Kenta enough."

"Just hit 'im already," said Kate, "I would."

"Kate," said Jeri, "don't encourage Rika."

"What," said Kate, "Kenta derives what's coming to him."

"I think Kenta would disagree," said Takato.

Rika sat down beside Takato and I.

"Stupid, Kenta," she growled.

"Calm down," said Takato.

"I am calm," Rika roared.

Takato leaned back.

Rika could get really scary if you pissed her off.

Kenta and Kazu did that a lot.

They knew the right buttons to push.

Kate patted Rika's back.

"I know," she said, "he's a dead man but be cool."

Kate had a gift to calm everyone person in the room down.

Rika stared at her.

"I have a plan that he won't see coming,: she said.

Max and I looked at each other.

Kate's plans were terrible if she was trying to get someone back for messing with her.

Max ducked down remembering one of them.

I nearly joined him but I couldn't let Kenta see that he had something to worry about but maybe I should've.

Kate turned to Kazu.

I knew Kazu was going to be drawn into this.

I should've stopped her right there.

"Can we borrow you for a moment," Kate asked.

Kazu looked confused.

"Don't do it man," said Max, "you'll be in the devil's grasp."

Kate glared at him.

Max backed away.

"Is she that bad with her plans?" Takato asked me.

"The worst," I replied.

Kate pulled Kazu by the arm and dragged him to where Kenta was hiding.

She wicked over at Rika.

I should've put a stop to it right there.

I stood up.

"Kate," I called, "That's not a good idea."

She stared at me with her evil smile.

I knew it was useless now.

"It's too late now," said Max, "She's gone."

Rika raised an eyebrow.

"Poor guy," said Max.

Kenta let out a scream that made him sound like a girl.

Kate came back with an evil smile on her face.

"What did you do now," I asked, afraid to know the answer.

She waved her hand in the air.

"You'll see," she said.

Kenta and Kazu came out from behind the brushes.

When I saw what Kate had done; I felt sorry them.

Their zippers were down and it looked like they were a gay couple trying to get into each other pants.

I knew Kate did something to lock their zippers into place.

Takato freaked out.

Jeri nearly screamed.

Max ran and hide in his tent from Kate.

My dad covered Suzie's eyes.

Tristan raised an eyebrow at his own sister.

Kate laughed at them trying to do their zippers.

Terriermon was laughing too.

Rika's eyes widened.

Renamon was speechless.

"I told you I had a plan," said Kate.

"I didn't think you would do something like that," said Rika turning to her.

Kate laughed and walked over to the boys.

"Why am I involved?" Kazu asked.

"You didn't stop him," said Kate, "and Takato told me that you two are always together."

"Yeah, because we're best friends," Kenta cried.

"Aren't you sure you that you two aren't gay and have the hots for each other?"

"If they are gay then they got the hots for Ryo," Rika added.

"Rika," said Renamon.

Renamon sounds like she was scolding her.

"Where did Max go?' Jeri asked.

"Yeah, where did he go?" Kate asked.

"In his tent," I replied.

Kate had pulled some stuff like that on Max and every time she did something like it again he would always run and hide.

I knocked Terriermon on the head to get him to stop laughing.

"That's not funny," I said.

He whined.

"You have some strange friends," said Takato.

I sighed.

"Kate," said Tristan, "fix this now. we do have a little one here."

Kate looked as if she forgot about Suzie.

"Sorry," she said and went to help Kent and Kazu.

'Sorry about my sister," Tristan apologized to my dad.

"She can get a little carried away at times."

"I can see that," said my dad.

He turned to me.

"I hope you never piss her off."

I nodded.

Kenta and Kazu screamed as Kate unhooked their zippers.

Love 7, the perfect gift (Rika)

I walked into the store with Kate.

I had gotten to like her and since I've learned that she's gay and isn't trying to steal Henry away me.

"So," she said

We were looking through clothes.

"Have found the perfect gift yet?"

I stared at her.

She looked at me in shock.

"You don't know what I'm talking about do you?"

I shook my head.

"Henry's birthday is a month away."

I knew that his birthday was coming up but I didn't think it was this soon already.

I had been busy with fighting digimon with Renamon that I forgotten at times at I have a boyfriend.

"Really Rika, "she said, "You're lucky I'm here or otherwise your relationship would go south."

"I've been busy," I replied.

"Well," she said, "we should look for a gift while we're here."

She walked over the electrons side of the store.

"I think, "she said, "that he needs something for storage or something."

I reached for a flash drive when Kate grabbed my hand.

"What?' I asked.

"You can't give him that, "she said, "I'm getting it for him and besides, you are his girlfriend. So you should give him a gift from the heart."

"I suck at stuff like that," I replied.

Kate shook her head.

"I'll call Jeri and then we can go to the mail to find him the perfect gift."

What have I gotten myself into?

We met with Jeri at the mail.

She was smiling.

I saw Takato was with her.

"What's Takato doing here," I asked.

"I need to get Henry a gift too," said Takato, "I mean we are best friends."

"Let me guess," I said noticing a box moving behind him.

"Guilmon is in there."

Takato turned to see the box.

"Guilmon," he cried, "I told you to stay home."

"But, I wanted to help Takato," he said.

"We're just picking a present for Henry," he said, "I'll get one and say that it's from the both of us."

Guilmon popped his head out of the box.

"I'm not alone," he said.

I saw ears popping out behind him.

"Terriermon," I said, "I can see your ears."

Terriermon popped his head out of the box.

"Don't be mad at Guilmon," he said, "I wanted to get Henry a present for his birthday and I ran into Guilmon who wanted to help."

"You could've called me, "said Takato.

Terriermon shook his head.

"I want to be here to pick out myself."

"Okay," said Takato, "Here's the plan, I'll pick out a present for me and Guilmon to give to him and you pick yours and I'll pay for it."

"Really?' said Terriermon, "Thanks Takato, sorry I ever made fun of you."

Kate jabbed me in the side.

"Even his own digimon partner wants to give your boyfriend a gift."

I knew that Terriermon won't forget Henry's birthday.

He was Henry's partner after all.

We went to several different stores.

Takato kept his promise to Terriermon.

He paid for the present he and Guilmon picked out and then Terriermon's gift.

Jeri found a card that had a green rabbit on it.

Takato had said that it looked just Terriermon.

Terriermon pointed out that he looked nothing like that rabbit in the card.

Jeri decided on a push doll of Terriermon.

Terriermon freaked out a little but Jeri told him that Henry would love it if he ever went back to the digital world.

That wasn't something Takato and I wanted to hear.

Kate jumped in and handed a Terriermon key chain to Jeri instead.

"He can wear on his gym bag for when he has basketball practice or a game."

Terriermon was about to argue.

"It'll be a good lucky charm. That way whenever he gets nervous; he can look at it for he goes out there and remember that you have his back."

"Well, I guess that's one way of putting it," said Terriermon.

Jeri decided on getting him the key chain.

I tried to think of things that I knew that he would need but Kate stopped me.

She kept saying that my gift had to be something special.

That was getting on my nerves.

"Kate, "said Takato, "Let Rika get it if she wants. I mean she's just thinking about what he needs."

"She needs to get him something special," Kate replied, "It has to come from the heart."

"I agree with you Kate but you stopped Rika from buying anything."

Kate thought for a moment.

I wanted to run but I learned that Kate was on track and she would catch me in no time.

Takato was on my side, partly because he knew how you would get.

Terriermon leapt on my side.

"Kate's trying to help," he said, "I know it seems like she's being picky."

I stared at him.

The rabbit that would open his mouth and make remarks that seemed rude but he was being funny.

"I know that Henry would be looking forward to your present out of everyone else's, so let her help."

I glared at him.

'Besides, I want Henry to be happy."

He got off my shoulder and onto Guilmon's head.

"And besides, you can't count your blessings before your eggs hatch," he said.

That was the Terriermon I knew.

"I'm not so sure that how the saying goes," said Takato.

"Oh look you has a brain," said Terriermon, "you may have grown up but you are still a newbie."

If Henry was here he would scold Terriermon for that.

"That's not funny, "said Takato going for Terriermon.

Terriermon leapt off Guilmon's head.

"You're too slow, "he said.

"Get back here, "Takato cried chasing after him.

Terriermon laughed as he dodged Takato.

"Let's let the boys play, "said Kate grabbing my arm.

Guilmon had joined in.

"Come on Jeri," said Kate pulling me along.

I got home annoyed with Kate's stupid idea that my gift for Henry had to be perfect.

I slammed my door shut.

"Stupid Kate," I growled dropping my school bag.

"Rika," my mom called.

I opened the door.

She stood there.

'Is something wrong?' she asked.

"No," I replied.

She didn't buy it.

"What's wrong?" she asked.

I couldn't tell my mom, she would make a big deal over it.

"Rika, "she said.

I wanted to close the door and throw a quiet tenant in peace.

I wanted to laid on my bed and scream into my pillow.

I saw Renamon standing in the shadows behind my mom.

I couldn't' even tell her.

What would a digimon do?

I tried to close my door but my mom wouldn't let me.

"You seemed angrily today," she said, "more so than usual."

I sighed.

I knew I couldn't keep it up for long.

Especially since Renamon was around.

I stepped aside and let them into the room.

"Well?" my mom asked.

I told them everything that happened.

About Henry's birthday was coming up and that Kate kept shooting down my ideas and how everyone else got to pick out their gifts.

When I was done, I was out of breath because it pissed me off.

"Is that all?' said my mom.

I had buried my face in my hands.

I felt a hand on my shoulder.

I looked up to see Renamon beside me.

"I'm sure Henry would love whatever gift you give him, "she said.

"Renamon is right, 'said my mom, "Henry is crazy about you and even if you give him the worst gift ever he would love it because it came from you."

I felt a little better.

I noticed that my mom was thinking.

Her face lit up.

"I got the perfect gift you can give to him."

She stood up and walked out the room.

I sat there with Renamon waiting.

"Do you really think that he would like whatever I give him?"

"Of course," Renamon replied, "he deeply cares about you and I know that he'll love anything that you give him."

Even though digimon didn't hook up with other digimon; Renamon knew what she was talking about.

There had been times where I could see how much Henry cared about me.

I just wished that he knew how much he meant to me.

My mom entered the room again.

I could see a small green box in her hand.

She set it down onto the table.

"Your grandfather gave this to your grandmother on their first date," she explained, "it's been passed down in our family for centuries."

She opened the box.

I peered inside.

It was a necklace that looked like sapphire heart-crystal.

"Your great great great great grandfather found this in a cave, " she said, "he and his wife were trapped inside the cave for days. On the last day that they were in that cave; he found this crystal in the shape of a heart on the wall where they sleep. He noticed that it was actually a sapphire. He believed it was fate, so he took this crystal and turned it into a necklace."

I stared at it as she told me the story.

It was pretty interesting, learning how he found this.

"He posed with this very necklace on that day they got out of the cave."

"He posed?" I asked.

She nodded.

"It's has been in the family ever since. I gave this to your father on our first date."

I remembered on how that marriage worked out; me without a dad around.

"We give this to the people we love as a sign of our undying love to them."

She placed it in my hands.

"It's your turn."

I stared at the necklace.

This did seem like the perfect gift but what would Henry think when I tell him what it means in my family.

My mom closed the box.

"We can also make him some sweets too."

I wasn't much of a cook as my grandmother was.

Henry's birthday party was being held at the arcade since his apartment was too small for everyone to fit.

I walked into the arcade.

I saw Ryo beating Takato at a video game.

Suzie, Al and Mako were playing little kids games.

Kenta and Kazu were trying their hand at a dancing game but they were terrible just like their singing.

Jeri was playing wrack-a-mo with Kate.

Max was playing a racing game against Tristan.

I noticed that he digimon were there playing video games too.

Impmon and Calumon were trying another dancing game but Impmon ended up on his butt while Calumon won.

Guardomon and MarineAngmon were trying a shooting game.

Leomon and Guilmon were playing the latest fighting game.

I looked around.

Henry and Terriermon were playing another shooting game.

I saw Henry's parents talking with the other parents.

My mom walked toward them with my present for Henry.

She handed it to Mr. Wong.

He thanked her for coming and placed it down with the others.

I was starting to get nervous.

"It'll be fine Rika, "said Renamon.

I knew she could sense that I'm nervous.

"You win," said Terriermon.

"Hey, you beat me at the last game," said Henry.

Terriermon hopped onto his head.

I smiled.

There was nothing but a bond between a digimon and their tamer, well at least to me.

Henry turned around and saw Renamon and I.

He walked toward us.

"Hey," he said, "I was beginning to think that you wouldn't show up."

"Why would you say that?" I asked wrapping my arms around his neck.

He chuckled.

"Parties don't seem like your thing."

I didn't care for parties too much but this one was for him.

He wrapped his arms around my waist.

"Renamon," said Terriermon, "Impmon wants to beat you at the hunting game."

"We'll see if he can hold his own," said Renamon.

Terriermon and Renamon walked off.

I knew they were giving Henry and me time to ourselves.

That didn't matter though because right now it was just us.

I looked into his eyes and I could see his love for me.

I leaned forward and kissed him.

I could feel his lips press against mine hard.

I love him so much but I never told him that.

I realized that his gift was like saying I love in my family.

I never thought about saying it to him for a while.

I didn't know how he would react.

Would he run away or would he pass out?

We pulled away for air.

"Hey Rika," said Ryo as he and Takato walked toward us.

"Did Ryo beat you?' Henry asked Takato.

"Yeah," said Takato, "could you have let me win?"

"Sorry," said Ryo, "I never knew that I was that good in any game."

"Yeah right," I groaned.

"Yeah don't worry Takato," said Henry, "Ryo can beat me at basketball."

"What no way," said Takato.

Henry nodded.

I hated the fact that Henry had said that.

Ryo was too perfect and I wished someone would kick him down a pang or two.

The others were now there now too.

"Who wants to take me on at wrack-a-mo," Kate asked.

"I like to see you take on Ryo," said Kenta.

"I don't know," said Ryo, "I saw that she was pretty good."

"Whatever pretty boy," said Kate, "I'll take you on but don't go easy on me."

"Okay, but you asked for it," said Ryo.

I rolled my eyes.

They walked away.

Kenta Kazu and Max wanted to watch, so they followed.

"Wanna race?" Henry asked Takato.

"No way, you'll beat me," said Takato.

"You beat me the last time we played," said Henry.

"Yeah, but that was just luck," Takato replied.

"Don't be a baby," I said, "just race him."

Takato did agree after I pushed him.

They walked toward the racing game.

Jeri and I chose to play a sword game.

I grabbed the sword.

"You go first," I told her.

I handed her the sword.

She took it and started playing.

"So, what did you get him?' she asked.

"That's a surprise for later," I replied.

I wasn't going to tell anyone what my gift was.

She nodded.

"So, did your mom helped pick out?"

"Yeah," I replied putting my hands in my pockets as I watched her play.

Jeri swung her arms cutting the vital enemy in half.

She was good but this wasn't the kind of game that she was into but we played it because it was the only available.

I knew her heart wouldn't be into the game but we played it to pass the time.

"It must be very interesting," she said.

"You could say that," I replied.

"I was worried after Kate was giving you a hard time about his present."

"Don't worry about it, "I said, "I talked to my mom and Renamon about it."

"That's good, at least you have people to talk."

I nodded.

Jeri killed another enemy.

One enemy came up and cut her on the side.

The words "game over:" crossed the screen.

She handed the sword to me.

I took my turn.

I did pretty good.

"Are you still giving him that Terriermon key chain?" I asked.

"Yeah, and I got some sweets from my parents' restaurant but I put your name on it."

The sword nearly fell out of my hands.

"Why?' I asked in shock.

"To be nice."

"You can't do that."

"Why not?"

"It's not really from me."

"He doesn't have to know that and besides Kate told me to."

"Stop listening to her then."

"I thought it was a nice gesture."

"He's going to think I got them."

"That's what we want."

"Rika, I was trying to help."

"How would you like it if I did that to Takato?'

"I would be glad."

"No you wouldn't."

The heat of my rage was taken out o n the game.

I kept slicing through my vial enemies.

"Rika, it's just only for one time."

'That is still too much Jeri."

"Don't do that again unless you come to me first."

I was yelling now.

I looked around.

Everyone was staring at us.

Why did they have to piss me off?

Henry was right at my side which surprised me.

"What's wrong?' he asked.

I tried to keep my cool.

"Nothing, I'm fine," I replied.

I returned to the game.

I didn't say another word to anyone.

Jeri had gone off to tell Kate that I wasn't' happy with them.

After my outburst, I kept away from Kate and Jeri.

I didn't' want to yell at them and ruin everything.

I found a game I could play myself.

Renamon stood behind me.

'What happened?" she asked.

"Nothing, " I replied going to put a coin into the slot.

Renamon grabbed my hand.

"I know you better than that Rika," she said.

I sighed.

"Kate and Jeri just did something that pissed me off , that's all."

She looked at me.

I ended up telling her everything.

"I see," she said, "I understand that they were trying to help but they shouldn't have done that without checking with you first."

"Actually," I said playing the game.

Renamon stood there watching me.

"That would take away your chance."

I knew what she meant.

"You did make some sweets for him with your grandmother though."

I nodded.

"Maybe I was too hard on Jeri. It was Kate's idea."

"That's up to you."

I sighed.

Renamon was a great help.

I ended up in second place behind Ryo but that didn't bother me at the moment.

I walked over to Jeri and apologized to her.

Jeri said that I didn't have to apologize and that it was her fault listening to Kate.

Takato smiled as we made up.

Suzie ran up to us.

"Time for pizza," she said.

We walked into the party room.

I sat down next to Henry.

Ryo sat on the other side of me.

I wished he wouldn't sit next to me.

The digimon had their own table.

Guilmon and Calumon were stuffing their faces.

Impmon piled slices of pizza into his mouth.

Terriermon was the only one that sat at our table.

He was sitting on the table next to Henry.

Lopmon was sitting the kids' table with Suzie.

The room was filled with noise.

I took a bit of my cheese pizza.

Henry had pizza with sausage on it.

I did tell him if he ate anything that had a bad smell to it then I wouldn't kiss him on the mouth.

Lucky for me he didn't.

Takato was eating the same pizza as Henry.

Guilmon had made his way to our table and tried to take Takato's piece.

"Hey Guilmon," he said, "Stop that, that's mine."

Henry and I both laughed.

Terriermon laughed too.

Jeri giggled.

Leomon came up and brought Guilmon back to the table.

I had finished my piece.

Terriermon was lying on the table after eating his fourth slice.

"That was good," he said.

"You will turn into pizza if you keep eating like that," Henry teased.

"No I won't," Terriermon replied.

Henry put his arm around me.

I could him pull me closer to him.

Soon, everyone had finished.

"Alright," said Mr. Wong, "Everyone can play some more before cake and presents."

Everyone stood up.

I was about to changelle Kate to a race when Henry pulled me by my waist.

"Meet me by wrack-a-mo in five minutes," he whispered.

He let go and walked away.

I waited for Henry by the wrack-a-mo.

I decided to play a game while I waited.

Guilmon was the side of the game popping up whenever the mo did.

He laughed as I hit them.

"Guilmon can you give us a moment," said a voice.

I looked to see Henry standing there.

Guilmon nodded and walked toward Takato and Jeri.

"Why did you ask me over here?" I asked after finishing the game.

He looked around.

"This seems like a private place in the arcade," he replied.

He just wanted some alone time with me?

He looked nervous.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

He took a deep breath.

"The reason I asked you here is…"

It seemed like he couldn't get the words to come out.

"What?' I asked.

"I…."

I could see his face turn red.

"I wanted to tell you…"

I waited.

I wasn't the patient one and he knew it but I let him take his time.

He whispered something but I didn't hear it.

"Huh?" I said.

He took another deep breath.

"I love you," he repeated.

I nearly fell back into the machine behind me.

"What did you say," I asked.

He looked uncomfortable now.

"I love you," he said, "That's what I wanted to say."

He turned but I grabbed his wrist.

Here I was freaking out about telling me that I love him and here he was telling me that he loves me.

He turned in my direction.

I could feel my cheeks get warm.

I leaned forward and kissed him.

When I pulled away, he was just standing there.

"I love you too," I replied.

He smiled.

He reached forward and grabbed my cheek.

He pulled me into a kiss.

I smiled and kissed him back.

I wrapped my arms around his neck.

His arms wrapped around my wrist as he pulled me closer to him.

The world melted away and it was just us.

Everyone gathered around the table where Henry sat.

Everyone began to sing "Happy Birthday" to him.

I even sang which made everyone look at me like I was crazy.

Henry and Renamon said that I had a beautiful which only made me blush.

Henry blew out his candles and everyone clapped.

Mr. Wong cut the cake and handed everyone a slice.

Everyone sat down and ate their slices.

Once we all finished it was present time.

Suzie picked up a present and handed it to Henry.

Henry read the card.

"Thanks Ryo," he said before opening the present.

Ryo had gotten him some new digimon cards.

"We can try them out later," said Henry.

"Yeah," said Terriermon.

Lopmon handed him Terriermon's present.

"Thanks pal," said Henry after reading the card.

Terriermon laughed.

Terriermon had gotten him a new computer game that he was into now.

He read every card before he opened the presents.

Takato had gotten him the latest video game that he liked.

Kenta got him more controllers since his old ones were broken.

His family got him a laptop.

Kate did give him the flash drive.

Jeri did give him the Terriermon key chain.

Kazu got him stuff dog that was his favorite breed.

Max got him a book for a series that he was reading.

Tristan even got him a gift.

Al and Mako along with Impmon got him new speakers for his room.

Soon, my gift was the only one left.

I felt nervous as Mr. Wong picked it up.

"This one is from Rika," he said handing it to Henry.

Henry looked at it.

My mom put a hand on my shoulder.

"He'll love it," she whispered to me.

"I even put a card that explains what it means inside."

I knew she would do something like that.

He opened it.

I stared at the green box that was staring back at him.

He grabbed the lid and my heart felt like it was going to blow out of my chest.

He looked inside.

"Cool," he said.

He pulled out the necklace.

"Dude, "said Kenta, "what's so cool about that?"

I wanted to yell at him.

"It's cool because Rika gave it to me," he said.

He noticed the card.

He opened it and read it.

I wanted to fall back and hit the floor.

I sat into a chair beside Renamon.

What would he say?

Would he freak out?

Would say that it was stupid?

I had many thoughts going on in my head.

Henry put it around his neck.

I saw that he was smiling.

I really told him that I love him and this probably seemed to him that my love was real.

He looked so good with it on.

The sapphire heart gleamed in his green eyes.

Mr. Wong read the card.

"Well, that's sweet," he said, "I think he loves it."

My mom explained everything that she told Renamon and I when she brought it out.

"I love it," said Henry.

He smiled.

"That's so romantic," said Jeri.

I could see that Ryo was enraged but I didn't' care.

Henry loved my gift and that made me happy.

"That's so lame," said Kenta.

"No it's not," Renamon replied.

Takato turned to Kenta.

"You aren't into that stuff," he said, "but I think it's nice. I mean they are in this relationship not you and what they do for each other can't be judged by us their friends."

"Thanks Takato," Henry replied.

He glared at Kenta.

"I like it," he said, "it's special and if you ever get a girlfriend then you might need to take her emotions to thought."

I felt touched.

I knew both Takato and Henry would defeat me no matter what.

That was one thing about them that I loved.

"It's pretty," said Suzie.

She turned to me.

"You made Henry's day," she said, "I know he was looking forward to your gift out of everyone else's."

I didn't know what to say.

Renamon chuckled at the look on my face.

How could respond to that?

Terriermon and Lopmon nodded.

Guilmon smiled.

"I think it's pretty too," he said.

"It's a good way to show one that you love them," said Leomon with a smile.

Jeri nodded.

"I agree," said Renamon.

Henry walked toward me.

"Let's get out of here and let the others deal with Kenta."

He grabbed my hands and pulled me to my feet.

I nodded.

He led me out of the room and toward the dark corner out of line of sight.

Once we got there he kissed me.

I smiled as he pulled away.

"I really did love my present from you," he said.

"You do?"

He nodded.

"I'm honored that you think of me like that."

I smiled.

"I'm glad you are," I said, "because that's how I really feel about you."

He reached into his pocket.

"I got something for you," he said.

"But, it's your birthday not mine."

"It's just to show that I think of you that way too."

He pulled out a yen and yang necklace.

"My grandfather made this out of some bamboo he found for his and his wife's anniversary."

I looked at it.

"And I thought that you and Renamon should match with it."

I laughed.

He put around my neck.

"There, " he said, "it suits you."

"So, does yours," I said.

We wrapped our arms around each other and kissed.

"I'm having a party," said Max.

"A party?" I asked.

"Yep," he said, "My forks are out of town and they said I could have a party but Tristan would have to watch us."

"Cool, I'm in," said Kate, "We can invite Rika."

"Yeah," said Max, "I'm planning on having the game seven minutes in heaven for the party."

I stared at him.

"You can invite your other friends too."

I knew Max didn't really have much friends beside Kate and I but still this was going to a be nightmare.

"Yeah, we can make sure that you end up with Rika for the game, "said Kate,.

"I know how to do that," said Max, "that's how I get every girl I wanted to date."

"You got a guy one time," I replied.

He shivered.

"Don't remind me."

"I have Rika's number," said Kate, "so, if you don't call her then I will."

"I'm going to invite her but if this is another plan to get us alone then you guys are dorks."

I rarely used that word.

They laughed.

"We know," they replied.

The teacher glared at our direction.

"Pay attention you three," he snapped.

"Class hasn't even started yet, "said Max.

The teacher glared at him.

"It's still passing period," said Kate, "We're just the first ones here."

We laughed.

Our teacher could be an airhead sometimes.

"A party?" Rika asked over the phone.

"Yeah, at Max's place," I replied, "his parents are out of town so Tristan will be there."

"I'll have to check with my grandma," she said.

"Okay," I replied, "I just wanted to see if you would come."

"I'll let you know when I hear back."

We hung up on the phone.

I knew that Renamon would have to come to the party which was fine.

I was planning on bring Terriermon to the party.

"Well?' said Max who was sitting on my bed with Kate and Terriermon.

"She'll have to check with her grandmother," I replied.

"I got a yes from Jeri," said Kate, "but Leomon would have to come.,"

"That's cool, "said Max, "I like the digimon."

I turned my chair around to face them.

Terriermon stared up at Max.

"Am I invited too?" he asked.

"Dud," said Max, "it wouldn't be a party without you," Max replied.

Terriermon cheered.

"I thought you have plans with your girlfriend Lopmon," I teased.

"That's not funny," said Terriermon.

"We thought it was," said Max and Kate.

"Oh like I'm the only that pals around with each other when Lopmon is around."

He stared at them.

"We're cousins," they replied.

"Besides I'm gay," said Kate.

Terriermon titled his head to the side.

"She likes girls not guys," I explained.

I lightly punched Terriermon on the head.

We hung up the phone.

I turned to Terriermon.

"She heard that you jerk," I said.

I lightly hit him on the head.

"I'll need some snacks too, "he said.

Kate Max and I along with Tristan went to the store to buy for the party.

"We will need some soda," said Kate.

"I was thinking maybe some beer," Max teased.

We knew he was joking.

Tristan grabbed some sodas from the shelves.

"I was thinking that we could order a pizza around six or something, "said Max.

"Sounds good," said Tristan.

I found some of Rika's favorite snack.

I took it off the shelves.

"What are you doing with that?" Max asked, "it's not on my list."

"It's Rika's favorite," I replied, "I'm getting it for her."

"That's so sweet," said Kate, "you even wear that beautiful necklace she gave you and she'll be in heaven."

I never took off the necklace that Rika gave me.

I only removed it for bed or when I was in the shower.

I started down at the sapphire heart and smiled.

I never thought that she thought about me that way.

This was proof that she loves me.

"I can see if Takato will bring some beard for the dip your mom made."

"Cool idea," said Max, "my mom didn't have the right beard for dipping and I told her that one of the kids that are coming has his own bakery."

I nodded.

Sometimes it paid to have a friend that had his own bakery.

Max checked off the items on the list.

"That's everything," he said.

"Oh, Terri heard about the party," said Kate, "so, she may show up."

"Oh great," said Max, "Rika will kill her."

He was right about that.

Maybe Renamon coming would be a good thing.

She could keep Rika out of trouble.

"I already invited Ashley," said Max.

"The girl you like?' Tristan asked.

He nodded.

"Dude," said Kate, "she likes my brother and Henry."

I knew that would be worst.

"But I was hoping that she would look my way during the party."

"Don't worry," I said placing a hand his shoulder.

"I'll just steer her attention in your direction."

"Don't worry about me," said Tristan, "I only go after girl around my age, so she's all yours."

"Thanks guys," said Max.

Kate whispered in my ear.

"How are you going steer her attention onto to him?"

"Seven minutes in heaven," I whispered back.

I had come by early to help set up for the party.

Kate and Tristan were there too.

"Maxwell," his mom called from the stairs.

"Your father and I are heading out and Tristan thanks so much for watching them while we're gone."

She turned to me.

"I know my son will safe in your hands Henry."

"I'll watch him," I replied.

"Hey you're the same age as me," said he.

"I'm a year older remember?" I said, "I just had a birthday."

"Henry is responsible," his mom replied, "I know I can trust him."

She went up stairs.

"How is it that parents trust you so easily?' Max asked.

"Henry's smart," said Terriermon.

"I don't know," I replied, "it must be the way I was raised."

"Well, your parent did do a good job then," said Tristan, "I know every parent that meets you likes you."

"That's Henry for ya," Terriermon replied, "parents love him but like Rika does."

"Don't start," I said.

A few minutes later and the door bell rang.

Max went up stairs.

"Hey guys the party is downstairs in the basement," he said.

Kenta, Kazu, Ryo and their partners came down.

"What's up guys," said Terriermon.

"You didn't bring Suzie?" Kazu asked.

"The party would run pass her bedtime," I replied.

Max came down with Ashley and Terri.

Terri saw me and ran toward me.

"There you are Henry," she said, "I'm looking forward to spending some alone time with you in the closet."

I leapt back.

"Hi Henry," said Ashley with her face turning red.

Terri glared t her.

"You know Henry is mine," she said.

"You don't own him," said Ashley.

"Either do you," said Kate, "besides, he already has a girlfriend."

"Hey guys," said Takato as he, Jeri, Guilmon and Leomon made their way down the stairs.,

Max was trying to get Ashley's attention when the door bell rang.

I went up stairs to answer it since Max was busy and besides, I was hoping that it was Rika.

I opened the door to see Rika and Renamon standing there.

"Hey," I said letting them inside.

Renamon looked around.

I took Rika's coat for her.

She kissed me as a thank you.

"Everyone is in the basement," I said.

They made their way downstairs.

"Rika is here," said Kate.

I hung up her coat with the others.

I made my way downstairs.

I saw Terri already glaring at Rika and Renamon.

She knew that I was dating Rika.

I quickly ran down when Ashley blocked my path to Rika.

"Where's the bathroom?' she asked.

I knew my way around Max's house since I have been here before.

"Why don't you ask Max," I replied, "This is his home after all. Hey Max."

Max walked toward us.

"Yeah?' he asked.

"Ashley wants to know where the bathroom is."

"I'll show you," said Max placing a hand on her back.

He guided her toward the bathroom in the corner of the room.

Rika walked toward me.

She kissed my cheek.

"Let me guess, Max likes her but she likes you."

I nodded.

I knew that pissed her off.

She wrapped her arms around my neck.

"Have you told her that you're taken?"

"Kate might have mentioned it," I replied.

"At least I know I can count on her."

She pressed her lips against mine.

I kissed her back.

"Hey all-star," said a voice.

We pulled away.

I saw a girl with long navy blue hair.

"Yo all-star," she said to me.

"Hey Jean," I said.

"Jean," Kate called running over to her.

Jean smiled and walked over to her.

They kissed.

"Is that Kate's lover?' Rika asked.

"Yep," I replied, "they've been dating for weeks now."

Max came back and looked around the room.

"Yo goofball," said Jean.

Once Ashley came out of the bathroom the party started.

Rika and Jeri got to know to Jean.

I sat down by Takato and we watched Calumon who had come here with Rika and Renamon: dancing with Terriermon.

"They do look like they're having fun," sadi Takato.

"Yep," I replied with a smile.

Guilmon had joined into the fun.

Max pulled out an old arcade game and called names from a hat.

I had to be called with Ryo.

We walked up to the game.

"Let's go," said Max.

I grabbed the controller and began.

Damn no one could beat Ryo.

I ended up losing but no one laughed.

Ryo wanted to take on Rika who beat Takato.

Rika took him on but Ryo beat her too.

Kenta beat Kazu but Ryo ended up beating him.

Soon Ryo had beaten everyone.

Max decided to order a pizza.

He called around five and the pizza got here around six-thirty.

We ate the pizza and watched a movie.

I sat on a bean bag chair.

Rika sat in one next to me.

Takato was on my other side.

Ryo sat next to Rika trying to strike a conversation with her when the movie ended but didn't work.

Kate handed breath milts out to everyone.

"We'll be playing seven minutes in heaven soon," she said, "this will be a good time to get rid of pizza breath."

Everyone stared at her.

"Hey it's Max's party," she said.

Max got up and pushed the table to the wall on the side of the room.

Tristan came back with an empty bottle of soda and placed in the middle of the room.

"Game time," said Max, "everyone in a circle."

"Girls on one side, boys on other," said Tristan.

Everyone got into a circle.

I sat across from Rika.

Tristan and the digimon watched from the sidelines.

"Alright," said Kate, "since this is Max's house, he goes first."

"Okay," said Max grabbing the bottle.

He spun the bottle.

We watched as it spun.

I hoped that he would get Ashley.

The bottle stopped and it was on Ashley.

I knew she was disappointed that it wasn't me.

"Okay," said Kate, "into the closet."

Max stood up and walked into the closet.

Ashley stood up slowly but she was looking at me.

I knew she wanted me to jump in and save her but I wouldn't.

I was hoping when my turn time came around it would be Rika that I would land on.

Ashley sighed and walked into the closet.

Kate closed the door and pulled out a hour glass.

She handed it to Tristan.

"You can keep track of time," she said.

He took the hour glass but he didn't use it.

He decided to use his phone instead.

Kate glared at him but didn't let it bother her.

She sat back down.

Seven minutes past and Max and Ashley entered from the closet.

Max looked disappointed while Ashley was embarrassed.

"What happened?" Kate asked.

Max looked as if he was going to cry but he held back the tears.

Ashley sat on the couch since her turn was up.

Max sat next to Tristan and leaned forward covering his face.

Tristan patted his back.

Kate and I looked at Max thinking that we should stop the game but he gave us the go ahead.

Kate then turned to Jeri.

"Your turn," she said.

She kept looking back at Max.

I did too.

I heard Takato gasp and turned.

The bottle landed on him.

Kate led them to the closet and closed the door once they were inside.

I looked over at Max again.

He seemed fine but I knew he wasn't.

Calumon was in his lap trying to calm him down the best he could.

"Poor guy," said Kenta.

Kazu nodded.

"I know how that feels," said Ryo.

I knew he was staring at Rika.

Rika growled at him.

Takato and Jeri came out with their faces looking redder than they were when they first went in.

They walked toward Max and Tristan.

They turned to hide their own embarrassment as they tried to help Max.

"Ryo you're up," said Kate not looking at him.

Ryo spun the bottle.

I knew that he was hoping for Rika.

I wanted to punch him for that but I didn't want to ruin the game for everyone.

Lucky, for me it didn't land on Rika.

The bottle stopped at Terri.

Ryo's head fell down.

Terri was acting a sported brat as Kate pushed her inside of the closet with Ryo.

I was relieved.

I looked at Rika.

She was too.

Kate mouthed to me that Max was feeling better.

I looked over to see Max back to his old self laughing at Calumon, Guilmon and Terriermon's attempt to cheer him up.

I smiled.

Takato and Jeri were telling him that they did that all the time.

I was glad the digimon were here.

The close door opened and Terri stomped out.

Ryo sighed sadly as he stepped out.

He eyed Rika, who was talking with Jean.

Ryo decided that he would talk to Ashley.

He walked over to her and chatted with her.

Kate clapped her hands.

"Kazu's turn," she said.

Kazu spun and the bottle landed on Kenta.

"Hey hell no," said Kenta.

Kate grabbed them both by the collar of their shirts and dragged them.

I tried not to laugh but it was hard.

Kate tossed them inside the closet.

"This will be a good time to tell each other how much you love each other," she teased.

They yelled at her to open the door.

Everyone in the room started laughing.

Even Renamon thought it was funny.

Kenta and Kazu ran out the closet.

"Did you tell each other that you're in love?' Kate teased.

"No way," they shouted.

I laughed.

"Rika, you're up," said Jean.

Rika grabbed the bottle and spun it.

I watched as it spun around and around.

My heart began to pound.

The bottle stopped at me.

I was relieved.

I stood up and so did Rika.

We walked toward the closet.

I could hear Terri shouting that should be her.

Ashley sounded like her world was being crushed right before her eyes.

Ryo I didn't' hear make a sound but I knew he was pissed off.

We stepped into the closet.

Kate closed and locked the door.

I felt around for the light switch.

I knew that Rika was in front of me but I wanted to look at her face.

She grabbed my shirt and pulled me into a kiss.

I knew she had been looking forward to this all night.

I wrapped my arms around her waist as she pulled him closer.

My hands moved up her back.

She moaned with pleasure.

Her hand ran through my hair.

Even though I couldn't see her face, I knew that she was there and she wasn't going anywhere soon.

I leaned against the wall.

I ended up bumping the light switch, turning the lights on with my back.

My hands were now on the wall.

The party ended around ten clock.

I walked out the door after helping clean up.

"Thanks man," said Max.

"No problem," I said, "Sorry things didn't work out between you and Ashley."

"Don't worry about it," said Max, "it's not your fault that she likes you."

"Yeah," I replied, "Well, see ya at school."

I stared to walk away.

Kate was about to into get Tristan's car when she saw me.

"We can give you a ride," she said, "I mean we do live in the apartment building and all."

"Sure thanks," I replied.

I got into the car.

Tristan climbed into the driver seat.

I closed the door and put on my seat belt.

Tristan turned the key and the engage started.

We drove onto the side.

Tristan gripped the steering wheel.

Kate sat in the front seat while Terriermon and I sat in the back.

"That was fun," he said.

"Yeah,." I replied, "but I sure wish that it went well for Max."

"He'll be fine," said Terriermon, "besides; I think Ashley is starting to realize that you're taken."

"Maybe."

He smiled.

"I'm sure she'll realize that she likes Max really soon."

"Yeah if only Ryo would get over Rika."

"Moment Ty," he said.

"Rika is crazy about you and besides Ryo can crush on her all he wants it won't make a difference."

"You're right."

"Of course I'm right. Rika loves you and besides you two wouldn't have been in that closet for ten minutes if she didn't love you."

"We were in there for that long?"

"Yep," said Kate joining our conversation.

Tristan nodded.

"You were too busy making out to realize," said Kate, "I was sure if we left you two in there any longer then Rika would get pregnant."

"That wouldn't happen," I replied.

"Oh yeah?" said Tristan, "Renamon would have broken down the door if Kate hadn't have opened it."

"Well, that's Renamon," I said, "she'll get protective when it comes to Rika."

"The same goes for Terriermon with you," said Kate.

She was right.

Terriermon nodded.

"By the way," said Terriermon, "what does pregnant mean?"

"You don't know what it means?" Kate asked.

"Digimon don't work that way," I replied, "They don't have parents or have genders."

"That's weird," said Kate, "you guys called them he or she."

"Well, that's kind of our thing," I said, "We really don't realize that we are doing it."

"Well, that makes since," said Tristan.

"Digimon are confusing," said Kate.

"Hey you humans are confusing to us," said Terriermon.

I lied on his bed.

Henry held me close.

"You sure about this?' he asked.

I kissed him.

"I'm sure," I replied.

He slowly reacted for my shirt.

We had been talking about it the moment Max brought it up.

I was a bit afraid to but now I was sure.

I pulled off his jacket that he always wore since it was winter.

He removed my black hooded vest that I was wearing.

His parents were out and his siblings were out with friends.

Renamon and Terriermon were hanging out with the other digimon.

My hand found its way up his shirt.

He kissed me.

I was getting nervous but this was the moment.

I couldn't back down.

We kissed.

"You are wearing protection, right?" I asked.

"Yeah," he said.

His shirt came off and hit the floor.

He was muscular than he was four years ago but of course he was on the basketball team but now that the season was over he ended up joining the hockey team.

He looked so handsome ramming into his opponents.

I closed my eyes.

I could feel him remove my shirt.

This was it.

The first time that we would move forward in our relationship.

"It fell off," I asked as we lied on his bed.

"It must have," he said, "I saw it on the ground after we finished."

I sat up and looked down at him.

He sat up and wrapped his arms around me.

"It won't matter if its negative or not," he said, "I love you and this baby would be ours."

He ran his fingers through my hair.

We had gotten dressed and sat in his room.

We had opened the window to it air out and to get rid of our smelt.

Henry had changed the sheets.

I watched as he got the old sheets to the laundry room.

His jacket was hanging on his computer chair.

He came back into the room and sat down beside me.

He grabbed my hand.

I looked at him.

He smiled and kissed me.

We had just taken a shower.

"How long does it take?" I asked.

"The box said four hours," he replied.

"We took that test two hours ago," I said.

"We could watch a movie," he said, "I got to warn ya though we mostly have little kid movies."

We walked into the living room.

I looked through his movie selection.

He wasn't kidding about the little kid movies.

I knew that Suzie was still a little kid.

We decided on a werewolf movie.

Henry made popcorn and got us some drinks.

We sat down onto the couch and watched the movie.

"What's this movie called?" I asked.

"Dog Solders," he replied, "it's pretty gorily."

The movie was about Solders trying to survive a pack of werewolves in the woods.

They ended up running into a house.

They had joined up with a commander from another unit and a woman.

The commander ended up coming a werewolf and the woman turned to be one of them along.

The ended up with only one solder and a dog surviving.

"Well, that was interesting," I said.

"It's an okay movie," he said, "not my favorite but it works for nights when you watch something bloody."

"The guy's intestines were hanging out," I said.

"I know."

I looked at the clock.

It was almost two hours.

"Where did your mom get that test?" I asked.

"From the store," he said, "it's supposed to be the faster one that tells you."

"It's taking forever."

"We only got a half hour," he said, "I got some board games."

We were right in the middle of a game of "Don't Wake Daddy" when we heard a ding.

"It's done," he said.

We walked into the bathroom.

I grabbed the test and stared at it.

It was blue.

"What does it mean when its blue?" I asked feeling nervous.

He picked up the box and read it.

He looked at me.

"Well?' I asked.

"It's positive," he said.

I almost fell over if he hadn't of caught me.

"The condom must have fallen off at the right moment," he said, "Or wrong, depends on how you look at it."

"What are we going to do," I asked.

I wanted to scream but didn't.

"We should decide on what we should do."

He sat on the couch as we came out of the bathroom.

"We could give it up for adaption," he said.

"I kind want to keep it," I said.

That surprised me as well as him.

"You want to keep it?' he asked.

"Why not?"

He smiled.

"I know that you would be a great mother," he said, "then I want in the baby's life."

"I was hoping you would," I said, "because this is much yours as it is mine."

"We should tell our families," he said.

We had been so careful but we didn't think that the condom would fall off.

"You're what?!" my mom shouted.

Henry and I decided to tell our families together.

"How could this happen," said Mrs. Wong.

"My baby is having a baby," said my mom.

She fainted.

My grandmother seemed a little too cool about this.

"I hope you two decided on the right thing," she said.

"We have," said Henry, "with your permission, Rika and I would like to get married."

We had decided that was best for the baby.

"But, you're only sixteen and Rika is only fifteen," said Mr. Wong, "I understand that you two want to do what's right for the child but how do you plan on living?"

"I've already thought about that," said Henry.

"Are you two even aware on how big a responsibility a baby would be?" said my mom who finally woke up.

"They won't be alone," said Renamon.

"Yeah, we will be with them every step of the way," said Terriermon.

I knew they would jump at the chance to help us.

"Henry and I have decided on what we want to do for this baby."

"What about if you two get a divorce?" asked my grandmother.

I would understand how tough it is without one parent around.

"We know that could happen," I said, "but if it does then we put more time into the baby."

"She's right," said Henry grabbing my hand.

I knew that our chances of marrying so young wasn't good but right now the baby was more important at het moment.

"Well then," said Mr. Wong, "They have thought this through or otherwise they wouldn't be asking."

"But," said my mom.

"I know that you're worried, believe me we all are but," said Mr. Wong, "what they decide for the baby is their choice."

Mrs. Wong put a hand on my mom's shoulder.

"I know that Rika is your only child but she is a smart girl and so is our son. If they want this then we can't stop them."

Mr. Wong walked over to us.

"That just leaves the question on where would you two will live until you are old enough buy a place or your own?"

"We thought about that," said Henry.

He turned to my mom and grandma.

"If it's alright with you," he said, "could we stay with you until then? My parents have their hands full with my other siblings."

"Of course," said my grandmother.

"I don't mean to put this on you," said he.

"Not at all," said my grandmother, "I'm glad that Rika has found a nice boy like you."

"Then it's settled," said Mr. Wong, "if there anything we can do, please let us know."

"Thank you Mr. Wong," I said.

Henry and Terriermon had moved into my home like they said they would.

Since Henry and I were having a baby we ended up sharing my room.

Henry didn't want to be a burin so he got a part-time job for us and the baby.

Renamon and Terriermon were helping around the house and they kept an eye on me.

"Can I feel?' Jeri asked.

"Sure," I said.

She placed a hand on my stomach.

I had become Mrs. Wong after four weeks.

We had a small wedding in the back yard with just friends and family.

The others freaked out when they learned that I was pregnant with Henry's child.

Ryo wanted to kill Henry but he stopped himself.

Takato was acting like a little kid that heard that he was going have a little sibling.

Of course, Henry and I had joked saying that Takato was like our son.

Kenta and Kazu couldn't speak for once which made me happy.

Kate was happy for me gave Henry a lecture on being responsible.

Max had patted Henry on the back and graduated him.

Tristan shook his head at us.

Takato's parents had pulled him aside and told him not to think about getting Jeri pregnant.

Jeri and I had talked about names.

"Do you know what you're having yet?' Jeri asked.

"I've only been pregnant for nine weeks," I replied.

"It's too soon," said Kate.

"Oh," said Jeri.

Kate laughed.

"Where's the dad at anyway?' Ryo asked.

"He's at work," I said, "he got a job to help care for the baby."

"That sounds like Henry," said Takato, "Doing the right thing.

Terriermon had stopped Calumon from jumping onto my lap.

Terriermon would act like a quarterback and tackled people that tried to go anywhere near my stomach unless Henry or I said it was okay.

Maybe he understood better than I thought.

"What was that for," Calumon asked.

"You got to be care now," said Terriermon, "She's carrying a baby and jumping on her could do damage the baby."

"Terriermon, it's fine," I told him.

He stopped.

"Looks like Terriermon has become a guard dog," said Takato laughing.

We all laughed.

"I'm home," Henry called.

Terriermon ran to greet him.

"Hey pal," he said patting Terriermon on the head.

He saw the others.

"You guys were here last week," he said.

"We can just to make sure that Rika is doing okay while you're at work," said Jeri.

"I'm glad to hear it," he said.

He sat down beside me.

"Your mom is going over plans for a baby shower," he said.

"It's too early," I said.

"That's what I told her but you know she wouldn't listen."

"Hey you married me and got me pregnant."

"I know," he said with a smile.

"I knew that was the price when I did."

He kissed my forehead.

"I'm ran into my mom and she gave me some old baby clothes from I was a baby and Suzie's old clothes too."

"That's good," I said.

He smiled.

"Hey," said Takato, "I got a question."

"Yeah what?" Henry asked.

"If you guys got a baby on the way, how are you going to fight digimon?"

"I won't bio merge," I said.

"I'm aware that Rika is carrying a child," said Renamon coming out of the shadows.

"I know we can't do a bio merge."

"Besides," said Henry, "we don't know what bio merging would do to the baby. So we decided to have her hold off on that until the baby comes."

"I get that," said Takato, "but what about if Renamon needs to go into battle."

"I can still use modify cards," I said, "I just can't bio merge."

"Okay," said Takato.

"I made snacks for everyone," said my grandma.

"Oh Henry welcome home," she said when she saw my husband.

"Yeah, I just got back."

"Well, I'm glad you made it back safely."

"Let's get some snacks," said Kenta.

"Rika, I made some healthy treats that are good for the baby."

"Thanks grandma," I said.

Four months had passed now.

Digimon have come but we beat them.

When it came to bio merging, I let the boys handle it even though I wanted to help them.

I hated that I couldn't but when Henry comes back in one piece, I'm glad that's he's alright.

Henry came home from work.

The cold air need make him look like he was shaking.

The snow fell onto the ground.

"It's crazy," I said, "it's going to be Spring soon and it's still snowing."

"Climate is changing," he said.

I nodded.

"How's the baby?"

"It's fine," I said.

He sat down beside me.

"You aren't cold are you?"

"No," I replied.

"That's good."

Of course Renamon and my grandma made sure that I was warm.

Terriermon was asleep in the corner of the room.

Renamon sat there looking at the snow falling.

Henry took off his coat and hang it up on the coat rack.

"How was work?' I asked.

"Fine," he said, "One elderly couple couldn't find the soup aisle though."

"Probably all timers," I said.

He nodded.

"Have anyone picked on you?" he asked.

"No," I said, "I just keep to myself."

He smiled.

"Has anyone messed with you?"

"Some people but hey they don't understand that a baby is a responsibility."

"Kate called, "I said, "she said to remind about the sketch."

"Oh, we got a project in art class due," he said, "I have the sketch. I'll give it to her when I see her at school tomorrow."

I knew he would.

He pulled me into his arms.

"Your hands are cold," I said.

"I know," he said, "they had me bring carts in today."

"You shouldn't be working too hard," I said, "with the weather like this, it makes me worry."

"You don't have to worry, "he said, "I'm doing this for you and the baby."

"I know," I replied.

I place my head on his shoulder.

"How are your carvings?'

"They're fine for now."

I kissed him.

"I've gained some weight today."

"Well, that's great that means the baby is growing."

"I know but it sucks that I'm the only one carrying it?'

"Hey your body can do something amazing," he said, "something that I can't do."

"What is so amazing about it?"

"We'll have our baby."

I smiled.

He was right.

It was tough but it was all worth it in the end.

I never thought that I would be married at fifteen and having a baby with my husband.

I knew others would poke fun at us but all that mattered was us and our baby.

I knew that the child be perfect.

I hoped it has its father's brains.

I lay on the table.

Henry held my hand.

We waited for the doctor to come in.

The door opened and the doctor stepped in.

"Good morning Mr. and Mrs. Wong," he said.

I loved being called Mrs. Wong.

"Let's get the ultrasound started," he said.

"The baby should be developed enough now that we can see the gender."

I looked at the screen.

I could see the baby.

It looked beautiful and it was our baby.

"Do you want to know the gender?" the doctor asked.

Henry and I looked at each other.

"Yes," he said.

The doctor nodded.

"Very well," he said, "you are going to have a girl."

It was a girl!

"How is she?' Henry asked smiling.

"She's healthy as can be, "said the doctor, "I don't know what you're doing but keep it up."

He stood up and shook Henry's hand.

"I will see you in two months for the delivery," he said.

"Thank you doctor, "Henry replied.

The doctor left the room.

Henry and I looked at each other.

"A girl," he said.

"Were you excepting a boy?" I asked.

He shook his head.

"I didn't know what to think and now that I know, I can make plans on how I can teach her."

"It'll be hard for you," I said.

He kissed my forehead.

"Well then, good thing I have sisters," he said.

Rika cried as we ran into the delivery room.

Takato and the others waited for us outside the room.

I held her hand the whole time.

I told her that everything was alright and that it will be over soon.

The doctor told her to push.

She squeezed my hand.

Rika's screams echoed out the room.

I knew Renamon was going crazy hearing Rika's screams.

Soon she stopped and all I could hear was crying.

"Congestions Mr. and Mrs. Wong," said the nurse, "You delivered a beautiful baby girl."

"Can I see her?' Rika asked.

The nurse handed her the baby.

She was wrapped in a pink blanket.

I looked down at my daughter.

She had Rika's face but my eyes.

She was beautiful.

"What should we call her?" I asked.

Rika looked down at her.

"I'm not sure," she said.

I could see the motherly instinct in her eyes.

Jeri held our baby in her arms.

"What's her name?' she asked.

"Tori," said Rika.

"That's a cool name," said Takato.

"Yeah," said Jeri.

She handed Tori to Rika.

"She looks like Rika," said Kazu.

"She has Henry's eyes," said my mom.

Guilmon looked at the baby.

"She's tiny," he said.

"That's how all babies look," said Takato.

"Really? Even you Takato?"

He nodded.

Tori cooed in Rika's arms.

I smiled.

Suzie looked at her niece.

"She's pretty," she said.

"Yeah," I said.

"She sure is," said Rika holding her close.

Renamon and Terriermon stood either side of Rika to see the baby.

Terriermon smiled.

I could see that Renamon was having the same thing thoughts as the other digimon on how humans could be like that and then into something else.

Well she was probably trying to picture how she would turn out in the future.

The doctor came into the room.

"Everything checks out with you Mrs. Wong and your daughter. You can go home now."

"Good," said Rika.

She yawned.

I took Tori from her.

"You should rest," I told her, "I'll help your mom and grandmother with the paperwork."

"Make sure you have some time with your daughter too," she said.

I nodded.

Renamon led everyone out of the room.

Once we were home; Rika had to rest.

Her mother had told her that child birth took a lot out of you.

I placed Tori down for her nap.

Tori yawned and cooed.

I smiled.

"Sleep tit," I said.

She closed her eyes and fell asleep.

I walked out of the room.

I walked into Rika and my room.

Rika was already in bed.

I crawled into bed.

Rika was still asleep.

"How is she?" she asked.

"She's out like a light," I said.

"Good to hear."

She rolled over to face me.

I turned to face her.

I wrapped my arms around her.

She touched my face.

"You still in pain?' I asked.

"What do you think," she said.

I sighed.

"But it was worth it, she added.

"Yeah, to have that beautiful little girl," I said.

She nodded.

She snuggled to me.

"I know is to going to get rough but I know if you're there with me then I can get through this."

"Same here," I replied.

I could hear her fall asleep.

I looked out the window.

Knowing that my daughter was in the next room was comforting knowing that I didn't have to go far to get to her if I needed to.

My eyes began to close.

Soon I was asleep.

She waited until she heard Tori make a small sound.

"I'm surprised that Renamon or Terriermon aren't here," I said.

"They were," said Rika, "Terriermon was trying to get her to stop crying."

"Renamon?"

"She was holding her when I came in."

I looked around.

Terriermon and Renamon were asleep in the corner of the room.

I smiled.

I was glad to know that they decided to stay nearby.

I walked toward Rika and the baby.

She handed Tori to me.

Tori looked up at me as I held her.

Rika stood up.

"I'm surprise no else is up," I said.

"Knowing my mom she was," said Rika, "but my grandma probably told her that we had it."

I nodded.

I put Tori back into her crumb.

"We should probably think about looking into an apartment when we graduate."

She nodded.

I stared down at Tori.

"I wonder if she would become a tamer like us," I said.

"Would you want that?" she asked.

"No," I replied, "since we know that it's dangerous."

"But also rewarding," she said gesturing to our digimon.

"Yeah there's that," I said.

"If she becomes a tamer then we can't do anything about it but teach her," she said.

"I know," I said.

We left the room closing the door behind us.

We walked into our room.

"We should have a plan for if that does happen," I said.

"Good point," she said.

"We just teach her on how to fight and use cards."

"What about if she is able to bio merge?"

"Then that means that we did a good job raising her into a tamer."

I knew that was true.

We climbed into bed.

"I don't want her involve in taming as much as you but we may not have a choice."

"I Know Rika," I said, "but it's still on my mind."

"She may not become one."

I nodded.

"I know that may be something we would have to worry about but even if does then we have to support her like our parents were during the D-Reaper."

We lied down.

"Yeah, but we have digimon and our parents don't."

"Then we would help her in her battles."

She kissed me.

"Henry, we are great tamers and if she does become one; I'm sure she'll be a great tamer too."

"Yeah, since her mom is the Digimon Queen," I said.

She smiled.

"Guess that makes her a princess."

We laughed.

We kissed.

"Even if she doesn't, she'll be our little princess," I said.

Rika smiled again.

"Yeah."

She snuggled closer to me.

"I know if we die then Renamon and Terriermon will look after her."

"Yeah," I said.

Rika closed her eyes.

"I'm sure she'll be the greatest tamer in the world."

I knew that Rika was picturing Tori surpassing her one day.

I watched as she fell asleep.

I went over the ideas of our little girl as a tamer.

What digimon would she have?

What kind of tamer would she be?

Would she be strong?

Would she be smart?

Would she learn to love her partner?

How would her partner to her?

I hoped that her partner would like how Renamon and Terriermon were to Rika and me.

But all I knew was that it could happen.

Would Rika and I be ready to pass the torte?

Time was the key.

Six years later.

"Daddy!" Tori called with her partner running beside her.

Henry turned around to see his little girl running toward him.

"Hey Tori," he said.

Tori stopped at his feet.

Cutemon, Tori's partner smiled up at them.

"How was your day daddy?" Tori asked.

Henry smiled.

"Good, how was your day?"

"Good," Tori and Cutemon replied.

"Awesome," said Terriermon.

Renamon appeared.

"Hey Renamon," said Terriermon.

"What's up?" said Henry.

"It's to eat," said Renamon.

"Okay," said Henry.

They made their way inside the house.

"Tori, Cutemon go wash your hands," said Renamon.

Tori and Cutemon ran off.

Rika stood there placing food on the table.

"Welcome home Henry," she said.

Henry smiled.

He walked over and kissed her.

She kissed him back.

Terriermon went to get ready for dinner.

A sound was heard from the corner of the table.

Henry looked at his three year old son sitting in his highchair.

"Hey there Ben," he said.

Tori and the others came into the room.

"Sit down and eat," said Rika.

"Okay mommy," said Tori.

She got into her chair and started eating.

"How was work?" Rika asked as they sat down at the table.

"Same as always," he said.

"Takato called."

"And?"

"He wanted to know if you could fix the register again."

"Guilmon broke it again?"

"No, Jen did," said Rika.

"How did a five year old get to the register?"

"He climbed when Jeri was out back getting some more beard to put on the shelves."

"I'll go to the bakery tomorrow."

"I told him that you would."

"I ran into Ryo today."

"He still playing hero."

"He should just give it up, "said Rika, "he has a family to think about."

"I think that's why he still does it."

"He'll get killed and then what? His wife is the one making the money while he is off playing hero."

"What do you except from Ryo."

"Yeah I guess," said Rika, "Kenta is still a fan boy of his and Kazu is at least grew out of that and is focusing on his own family."

"Kenta doesn't have a family," Henry replied.

"That's why he is still acting like a child."

"Well, he never could get a girl."

Kazu at least was kind enough to listen to his girlfriend while Kenta kept going on about Ryo and other stupid stuff."

"He needs help."

"He needs a new brain."

"Thanks for your Henry, "said Takato.

Henry looked up at him.

"I still don't know how he got up there."

"Probably got on Guilmon again," said Henry.

"That might be it," said Takato.

Henry stood up from the register.

"There, now try it."

He stepped back to let Takato try it.

Takato punched in some numbers.

"Hey it works," he said, 'Thanks."

"Sure thing."

"Boy it's only been six years since you married Rika and had Tori."

"Yeah," said Henry.

"What are you going to do for your anniversary?"

"Not sure yet but I do have registrations at that new restaurant in town."

"Well, that's a start but you don't have a gift for her?"

"I'll pick one up on my way home today."

Takato nodded.

"I can't believe that you guys are in your sixth year of marriage."

"It's no big deal," said Henry, "Rika thinks that our marriage will end soon since we married so young but I don't see that any time soon."

Takato nodded.

"Rika is only thinking about her parents' marriage."

"I don't plan on letting her go any time soon."

"I've seen that you two love each other more than the first time you started dating."

"If that's even possible."

They laughed.

Rika was working on her hair.

Even after six years of marriage she still loves Henry.

She knew that marriages that married young didn't work out well.

Her parents were divorced after seven years of marriage.

She feared that would happen to her and Henry.

She couldn't let him go yet.

But she also knew that it would different from her parents.

She had loved Henry this long so what's to stop her from loving him?

Tori came into the room with Cutemon behind her.

"Mommy," she said.

Rika turned around.

"What's a Lopmon?" she asked.

"Why do you ask?' Rika asked.

"Terriermon was talking about it."

"Lopmon is a digimon sweetie," she said, "Your auntie Suzie has a Lopmon."

"You mean that chocolate rabbit that looks like Terriermon?"

Rika nodded.

Tori ran out of the room.

Rika turned back to the mirror.

Henry entered the room now.

"Hey," he said.

Rika noticed that he was hiding something behind his back.

She turned around.

"What are you hiding?"

He walked toward her and kissed her.

"Just something for our six year anniversary."

She stared at him.

"I thought we agreed not to do anything big for our anniversary?"

Henry pulled the present out behind his back.

"Hey you agreed to that," he said, "I didn't."

Rika took the present and opened it.

It was a CD of her favorite band.

Henry would pretend to act like they were teenagers as a way to show that he loves her in the way he did when they were first dating.

She leapt into his arms.

"You are too good sometimes," she said.

Her arms were around his neck.

She kissed him.

He smiled.

"We are also going to that new restaurant in town."

"The fancy restaurant around the corner from the bakery?"

He nodded.

She kissed him again.

Rika still barely wore dresses, she still hated them.

But since she had gotten older; she found herself wearing them more especially if her and Henry were going out.

She wore a bright blue dress and had her hair down.

Henry was dressed in a green dress shirt and black dress pants.

They walked to the door.

Henry pushed the door opened.

The hostess was standing at the podium as they walked through the door.

"Can I help you?" she asked.

"Table for two, Wong," said Henry.

She checked the list.

"Yes," she said, "right this way."

They followed her to their table.

"Your waiter will be right with you," she said.

They sat down.

The hostess handed them the menus and walked away.

"How did you get us in?' Rika asked.

"Your mom kind of helped," Henry replied.

Rika rolled her eyes.

"You know how she is."

"I know," she replied, "She's my mom."

Henry grabbed her hand.

"And I did save up some money from work and doing other odd jobs."

"You didn't have to do this."

"You're my wife; you derive the best and besides its special."

She smiled.

"You spoil me."

He smiled.

"I'm glad that I make you happy."

"You always have."

They kissed.

The waiter came and took their orders.

He walked away and returned with their drinks.

"What have I done right to get you?"

"The moment we kissed at that diner for the first time," he said.

"That was mostly Jeri's doing."

"Well, we got around to thanking her for that."

Rika nodded.

"I was happy when you ran after me into that alleyway."

"Of course, I wasn't' going to let you go not without know how I feel about you."

"And when you kissed me again."

"That was for to stop you from talking and because I wanted to."

"I had a feeling about that."

"We sure have come along a long way from that first kiss."

"Yeah, we helped Takato and Jeri and now look at them. They're happily married with twin boys and a baby girl."

"We only have Tori and Ben."

"But we also have Cutemon and Terriermon."

She laughed.

"Renamon is their babysitter."

Rika laughed again.

"She wouldn't like that."

"I know."

Rika kissed his cheek.

The waiter came back with their food,.

They ate as they spoke.

"It's funny," said Rika, "at first, I thought Kate and you were together but that was before I found out she was gay,"

"Kate is more of another sister."

"I know, but still I was so jealous when ever she was around you but now I'm not because I know the truth."

"Yeah, poor Max though. He ended up with Terri."

"Didn't she start dating him to make you jealous?"

"Yeah, but Max wanted to screw with her so he pretended like he wanted to date her."

"What made him pop the question?"

"She did."

"And he accepted?"

"Not at first."

"But he ended up marrying her."

"He realized that he liked her and that he couldn't' get Ashley."

Ashley had fallen for Ryo and married him.

She ended up caring for their two girls while Ryo was playing hero.

"Yeah poor Max,"

"Max did marry her but she thinks that would get you to go nuts."

"Well, I'm happily married and she'll have to accept that."

Rika squeezed his hand.

He smiled.

After they paid for the check they walked out he door.

The night was warm as most summer nights were.

Henry ran his hand through his hair.

They got to the car.

Rika turned to him.

"Thanks for a wonderful evening."

"Anything for you, Mrs. Wong," he replied.

She smiled.

She loved it when people called her that.

She leaned forward and kissed his mouth.

"I love you too," she said.

He smiled.

He wrapped an arm around her waist and pulled her close.

She looked up at him.

He pressed his lips on hers.

She smiled and returned the kiss.

He pulled away after five minutes into the kiss.

She wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him back into a kiss.

He returned her kiss.

They ended up on the hood of the car kissing.

They pulled away for air.

"Happy anniversary Rika, I love you."

"Happy anniversary, Henry, I love you too."

They kissed once again.
