What if everything toward the end of The Battle of the Five Armies happened, but Thorin, Fili and Kili did not die in battle? What if Tauriel and Kili ended up having a relationship at an earlier time, which produced a baby, leading to Thranduil's decision to banish her? This is what I wanted to see happen, so this is my ending of the Hobbit. It's a little more modern as you will discover reading through. Bagginshield? Never. I just cannot see Thorin or Bilbo going for that. Incest? Never. Disciplinary spanking? Maybe. At some point.
