I'm back! I feel like doing a sequel to my first BH6 fanfic, Snow Day. And if you want to read my stories, I have a certain order for you to read it in. Here's the layout:
1. Snow Day
2. A Thanksgiving Without My Brother
3. Fun on the Family Island
4. Snow Day 2 (this story)
I'm responding to reviews from the last chapter of Fun on the Family Island.
Delta General 42: Is 'Hero' your suggested nickname?
DisneyandWildKrattfangirl: I'm sad it's over too, and I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Mysterious Mr M: Thanks! :)
Purpalz Miner: Glad you enjoyed it, and I love ya too! Lol
PerrythePlatypusGirl: Well, I'm glad I added this story to the relaxing fan fiction collection.
eltigre221: Thank you so much for the information. I did correct that.
Guest: I'm glad you enjoyed my fic, but if you hate Hirogo, then I don't think you'll want to read my future fics that I'll write about them. And sorry, I don't ship Fred and Honey Lemon, so I doubt I'll write anything about them.
Toothless lover 13: Cool, we have a Nintendo fan! I can understand why you favor the handhelds over the consoles. I can relate with my Wii U at the moment (it's kinda jacked up).
Story time!
Ah, winter time. One of Hiro Hamada's favorite seasons. Now at the age of 15, Hiro is currently enrolled in the San Fransokyo Institute of Technology, or SFIT for short. It snowed so much, the university was closed, which was very rare. The young boy offered to shovel the sidewalk for his aunt, so the customers can actually get inside the café without struggling to walk in the few feet of snow they got. Baymax, Hiro's healthcare robot, also wanted to help. Hiro got into his winter gear, grabbed his shovel, and went outside in the white wonderland.
"Kind of reminds me of that one movie we watched, right Baymax?" Hiro asked his friend.
"Yes indeed," the robot replied. "Please be cautious. Staying out in this cold weather for too long can lead to sickness, or in most cases, frostbite."
"I won't be out here too long, buddy," Hiro reassured. "Probably about thirty minutes at the most."
*Thirty Minutes Later*
Hiro wasn't even halfway done with the sidewalk there was so much snow. He kept pushing the shovel, but it was no use. He was so tired, he couldn't push the shovel forward. Baymax just stood there, blinking.
"My scanning shows that you are exhausted," Baymax stated. "You need to take a break."
"I'm *huff* fine," Hiro panted. Baymax wasn't going to take no for an answer. He waddled over to the poor boy, and picked him up bridal style.
"Hey!" Hiro said in surprise. "What are you doing?"
"You need to take a ten minute break," Baymax said, and walked him inside the café. Once they entered the Lucky Cat Café, Hiro was dropped down into a seat. Aunt Cass saw him, and whipped the prodigy up some hot chocolate.
"Are you finished, sweetie?" Hiro's loving aunt asked.
"No, only halfway through," Hiro responded. "Baymax here said I needed a break."
"Well, I agree with him," Aunt Cass said. "Drink your hot chocolate, then you can finish the sidewalk."
"Okay, Aunt Cass," Hiro obeyed.
"Hiro," Baymax spoke up. Hiro looked at him. "What is it Baymax?"
"You are getting a phone call from Wasabi," the vinyl robot said. Hiro recently upgraded Baymax to where he can notify Hiro when he has a phone call when he doesn't have his cell phone on him. Hiro took a sip of his hot chocolate, and ran up to his room. He made it up just in time to answer.
"Hello?" Hiro said on the phone.
"Hiro! Thank goodness you answered!" Wasabi exclaimed.
"What's the matter, buddy?" Hiro asked in slight worry.
"I have a date tonight, and I'm really nervous about it. Can you help me?"
"Congrats, Wasabi!" Hiro said with joy. "Who'd you ask out?"
"Kelsey Ito," Wasabi answered. "You know, the girl across from my lab?"
"Yeah, I know who you're talking about," Hiro said. "I catch you gawking at her everyday."
"Really?" Wasabi said, blushing from the other line. "Anyway, I know you've gone on a date with Go Go before, can you give me advice?"
"Sure," Hiro said. "First and foremost, be yourself, and always, and I mean always be respectful. Hold the door for her, and let her go first."
"Hey, thanks man," Wasabi said. "I appreciate it."
"No big deal," Hiro said. "If you need anything, give me a call."
"Gotcha," Wasabi said. "I'll talk to you later."
"Alright, see ya," Hiro replied," and have fun."
"Thanks," Wasabi said, and hung up.
Hiro walked back downstairs, where Baymax was waiting for him. Hiro finished drinking his hot chocolate, and went back outside to finish shoveling the sidewalk. In about an hour later, Hiro finished the job, and went back inside with Baymax following suit. Hiro took off his winter gear, and hung it up on the coat rack. Aunt Cass looked out the window to see how good her nephew did.
"You did a good job outside, Hiro," Cass said.
"Thanks Aunt Cass," Hiro said. He and Baymax ran up (Baymax had a hard time doing so) to their room. Hiro called his girlfriend, Go Go (read Fun on the Family Island to see how they got together). She answered after two rings.
"What's up, nerd?" Go Go greeted.
"Nothing much," Hiro said back. "Wanna come over."
"I really want to," Go Go said with a little bit of regret in her voice, "but I promised Honey I would go shopping with her."
"That's okay," Hiro said, not at all disappointed. "How about tomorrow?"
"Sure," Go Go said. "I'll come around 2ish tomorrow afternoon. Sound good to you?"
"Sounds great," the boy said. "I'll talk to you later. I love you."
"Love you too, my little nerd," Go Go said, and Hiro hung up. The boy blushed. My little nerd, he repeated in his head. I like the sound of that. The boy prodigy looked at Baymax, who was playing Pokémon on Hiro's 3DS.
"Goldeen, use splash!" Baymax shouted as he pressed the buttons. Hiro laughed.
"Having fun there, Baymax?" The robot looked up at Hiro, and blinked.
"Apparently, splash isn't super effective," Baymax stated.
"No, it really isn't," Hiro said, smirking. "I need to teach you a little bit about Pokémon."
"That would be nice," the robot said, blinking. Hiro smiled, and then taught Baymax the basics of the very popular video game. After a bit of getting used to, Hiro let Baymax go on the Pokémon thing. For the first time in quite some time, he was bored. He thought about calling Fred, but then he remembered he was with his parents for his mom's birthday.
"Let's see," Hiro said, scratching his chin. "Wasabi's out on a date, Go Go and Honey are shopping, and Fred is having some family time. What to do?"
Then he got it. "Hey, Baymax."
"Yes, what is it Hiro?" the squishy robot asked, tilting his head.
"Let's go to the park! We can play in the snow!" Hiro said.
"Like we did before?" Baymax asked.
"Just like before," Hiro answered, "but just the two of us." Baymax followed Hiro out. He grabbed his coat, hat, and gloves, and went outside. But first he had to let his aunt know where he was going.
"Hey, Aunt Cass?" Hiro called. "Baymax and I are going out!"
"Okay, sweetie," Aunt Cass called back. "Just be back before dinner time." After that, Hiro and Baymax headed for the park.
Once they reached their destination, they realized that the park was packed with kids making snow angels, snowmen, or just having a plain old snowball fight. They found a nice peaceful spot away from all the commotion.
"I like winters like this," Hiro said to Baymax.
"Are they always this pretty?" the robot asked, curiously.
"Not all the time," the boy prodigy responded. "Some years we get barely anything, other years we get tons. I guess it's whatever Mother Nature wants, huh?"
Baymax nodded. Hiro bent down, and made a snowball. This made the robot really curious. "What are you doing?"
"Making a snowball," Hiro answered.
"What for?"
"So I can do this!" Hiro threw the snowball at Baymax's stomach, but only for it to bounce back at Hiro, hitting him right smack dab in the face.
Baymax looked down at Hiro, and said: "You have fallen."
Hiro groaned, while sitting up. "Note to self. Never start a snowball fight with a robot. He'll most likely win if he has a balloon type body."
Baymax laughed. That's right, he laughed, and pointed his finger at the poor boy.
"Looks like your new upgrades are working out," Hiro pointed out. "But we still need to work on your singing skills."
"Me singing karaoke during the summer trip was a bad idea, wasn't it?" Baymax asked (I'm again referring to Fun on the Family Island, my previous BH6 story).
"No, it wasn't a bad idea," Hiro said, "that's why I upgraded you so you can sing and laugh." They then did Baymax's favorite thing to do out in the snow. Build a snowman. Baymax was excited to do it, and started to build the bottom. Hiro did the middle section. Once they put those two sections together, Hiro looked around for any material they could use for the face, while Baymax made the head itself. Hiro sadly didn't have any luck finding anything, so they just left him blank.
"This snowman doesn't look right without a face," Baymax said once they finished. Hiro agreed, but then got an idea. He took his finger, and poked the snowman with some holes for eyes, and a curvy line for his mouth.
"That's much better," Baymax said with approval.
"Definitely," Hiro agreed. He then heard beeping, in which he knew what that meant. Oh no, not again.
"Low batteryyyyyyyy" Baymax slurred. Hiro rolled his eyes, and carried Baymax home.
Aunt Cass was cleaning up the café for closing time when Hiro arrived with a drunk Baymax.
"Again?" she asked in annoyance. Hiro slowly nodded.
"I will s-scan you now scan complete," Baymax hiccupped.
"I'll be right back," Hiro said, and ran Baymax upstairs. After hooking Baymax up to his charging station, Hiro walked back downstairs to his aunt.
"Did you too have fun?" she asked.
"Yeah, but it was crowded," Hiro replied. "What's for dinner?"
"Your favorite," Aunt Cass replied. "Chicken wings with the special hot sauce."
"Sweet!" Hiro exclaimed. They both fixed their plates, and sat down at the dinner table. Baymax soon joined them after he was done charging.
Yay I'm done. I hope you enjoyed this one shot. I did the laughing thing from the USA Times interview with Baymax, and you can probably guess where I got the snowball hitting Hiro from. Oh yeah, and I got my hands on the Blu-ray! Yahoo!
Hiro: I told you that you could wait.
Me: Yeah, I know, and you were right.
Hiro: :)
Later, taters. Let me know what BH6 ideas you have in mind for me to do. I have the next story in my head, and it's all Hirogo.
