The Book of the Dead
Intro: Greetings wary traveler. Soon you to will be powerful. This book is only to be viewed by Abohorsens, or Good Necromancers. This will teach you the basic techniques of Necromancy and of being an Abhorsen and banishing the dead. As you read these pages, your life will change forever. Prepare to become a Dead Commander. One should start with the preliminary meditation excercises to prepare the body for the shock of the spirit leaving the body and journeying into Death. After crossing the void is accomplished, the Necromancer should begin the making of the bells and other tools which must be used to protect himself from the dead. Once accomplished the Necromancer may attempt to call several Lesser Dead into the world and bind them to his will. Once accomplished, basic Free Magic spells should be practiced to move past the first four gates. Once accomplished the Necromancer is well on his way to power. A sword should next be forged in the eighth gate to protect and bind the Dead and a final journey made to the Ninth Gate to quench the final bell, Astarel. Prepare for a dangerous journey!
