Title: Clark's Real Reaction To Lana Being Alive.
Summery: What the Title Says.
Reasoning: I am really mad about Lana being back so dumbly and soon and though it was expected, I did not like how they just wrote her back in to Smallville.
The soft summer (Is it summer? Cause really, I'm not clear how much time passed from one season to the next..) wind blows around the barn as Clark, dumbly, tries fixing the tractor, like the dumb hick he is. Shelby, probably the last member with smarts left of the Kents, feels the presence of SAINTS, ANGELS AND CHERUBS all singing praises and playing their angelic harps for SHE, of the soft pink pressence, is back with us mere mortals.
Shelby barks towards the Holy Light, that now glows through the barn. Clark, a little slow on the uptake, since he's, you know, not so smart, doesn't seem to notice at first what Shelby already feels. The harp chines harder, as Lana Lang, for the Luthor name is no longer sinning upon her perfect presence, walks into the scene, her long hair flowing graciously in the blinding white light that surrounds her.
She walks to Clark with a smile, sure that, like the world always has, he'll resume to worship that ground and water she walks on, since she's Lana Lang after all. She reaches her tender, silk like skinned hands and puts them on Clark's shoulder.
"No, Kara." Clark whispers without turning. "This maybe be Kansas, but I'm not sure if I'm ready to explore the incest thing... though.. I will admit..." He turns and sees that it is not his hot and nubile cousin from Krypton, but Lana, and her chorus of Angels, behind her.
He stands. Still. Taking in what he is seeing and has only one response.
"Lana what the FUCK?" He pulls away, completely losing his shit. "What the hell is going on here?"
"Clark... don't freak out. It's me. Your one and ONLY love." She soothes, sweetly, trying to reach for his cheek, to assure him that she is not a dream, but a reality we all have to deal with now.
"No! Dude! You.. were dead! You like fucking blew up into a fucking million pieces. I SAW your body buried."
"Yeah... no. I faked my death and all.. but, aren't you happy to see me?"
"You WHAT?" Clark screams, completely out of it. "I almost killed Lex over you! And now you tell me you PLANNED to fake your death?"
"Well, if I told you what was happening you just would've tried to protect me!"
"What? If you told me I wouldn't have almost killed a human and exposed my powers at the same time!""But, Clark—"
"Get the fuck out of my farm!" He yells, disgusted. "First you marry Lex and now this. Gah. You seriously are fucked up. Fucked. Up."
And struck by these words of true, Lana commits suicide and nobody cares, cause they already thought she was dead, so, eh.
The End.
