Brennan and Booth were sitting side by side on the front steps of the Lincon Memorial sipping their coffees after wrapping out yet another case. The weather was perfect and the sky was clear allowing them to watch the stars in peace. Suddenly, yellow by Coldplay was playing in the background from a parked car and Booth started signing along the music to Brennan.

She laughed and gently pushed him with her shoulder. He continued.

He got up and pulled Brennan to her feet. He toke her coffee out of her hands to set it on the ground and pulled her into a dancing position as he continued signing to her.

In his embrace, she let a sweet laugh escape her mouth and she started to pull away. He pulled her even closer resting his hands on her hips. "Booth." She started saying but he cut her off as he sang the last verse of the song gently in her ear.

He watched her smile fade away into a serious face. Was he playing with her? "We should go." She said as she picked up her coffee and walked a few steps down towards the car however; the last verse of the song stopped her in her tracks.
