Spring

Spring brings with promise and hope,

Of new beginnings and fresh starts.

Two lovers join their hearts as one

In the blossom-laden fields.

Their faces bearing eternal youth,

Their hearts as ancient as time itself.

Summer

Summer is the pinnacle of one's life,

Welcoming a child into the world brings

The sunshine of everlasting happiness leads

To moments that will be treasured forever.

A girl's first laugh, her first steps and words

To joy without end.

Autumn

Autumn signals the twilight years of youth for mortals,

An old enemy snatches the young bud before she has bloomed,

Sorrow descends on husband and wife like the falling leaves.

Years will past before brings about reunion.

Winter

Winter is death, a bud once thought lost,

Blossoms into a frail flower.

Winter snatches her life away,

Two little buds are her legacy.

The father stricken with grief

Unable to die struggles to keep living.

The lovers are reunited with two buds to nurture

The future begins to shine once more.

Hope is rekindled.

Happiness lives again.

Love is eternal.
