I don't own and never will own Naruto; the closest I come is that I have little key chains with Naruto on them and a pin.

There is Sasu/Naru in this but cause it's only a drabble, not too much. If this coupling scares you then don't read the last paragraph, just skip to the last sentence.

Our Happy Endings

A happy ending is something that everyone has. One thing that was to happen to our futures over everything. The one thing you strive for and anything less just won't do.

Everyone knows that Shikamaru's happy ending was to marry and average woman, and not get to far in life.

He's now visiting Sand every chance he gets to visit Temari, all while trying to juggle the multiple tasks that only his high IQ brain can even attempt to do.

For Neji, it was showing up the main house at how much better the branch house was.

Now he's content to watch as Hinata slowly changes the tradition, even helping to show he's nephew a few of the main house moves he learnt.

For Hinata it was telling me that she liked me, and getting stronger so she could impress her father.

She's happy to sit at home now, minding her growing brood of Inuzuka and watching the battles from a far. Representing the Hyuuga clan has now fallen onto Neji.

At one point for Sakura it would be marrying Sasuke plain and simple, everyone who knew her knew this to be the only driving force she had for joining the academy.

Now she's floating around the village as her wedding day to Rock Lee comes that much closer.

For myself, it was becoming the best ninja in the village so everyone would respect me, and having a family of my own.

I do have a family now, in the form of a one Uchiha Sasuke. We still fight, and cause each other bodily harm. Not what a family does mind you, but the love is still there.

I'm still working on becoming hokage but it doesn't seem to be such a big thing now a days.

It's funny how even though the ending has changed, it's still happy.

Ok, this turned out to be a little bit funny. The way I was going for was that the dreams of the Naruto characters change but in the end there still 'happy endings'.

I had the last sentence down pretty much straight away, but the fest was hard to follow. It took me about half and hour, but it was a tough half hour. If I was doing this in a 50 sentences things that would have been easy.

I want to do one of those but the problem is in what category. If anyone wants to give me one to do, assuming I know the anime/manga I'll be happy to.
