Disclaimer: I own Jesse and her siblings.

A/N: Hehe, I'm back! Ok, I hope you all enjoy this... I've been watching too much Buffy lately so, I got this idea from the episode where Glory thinks Tara is the key. I also gave Jean an extra power, to help the storyline.

Temporarily Insane

"Everybody, we've got a fight to get to!" Lance yelled, putting his fishbowl on. Eventually, all of the Brotherhood were in the front yard with him, in an army line.

"Okay... Here's the plan. Hotwire, you take Red. Quicksilver, you take Spyke. Toad, you take Blue Boy. I'll take Shades. Blaze, you take Rogue. Boom Boom, you take Shadowcat. Morph, Blob and Clone, you take the newbies," he barked out, leaning into the faces of each person he was giving orders to, "Are we clear?"

"Yes, Avalanche, we are," they answered, slightly miffed he was *STILL* acting like an army marshall. He had been acting that way since he came back from the X-Men.

"Move out!" he roared, and they walked to the battlefield. Jesse edged slightly in her walking until she was beside Pietro.

"Don't ye think he's goin' O-T-T wae the training and such like? Ma friggin' ass and ma sides are still sare fae yesterday, when I fell fae the top ae the hoose!" she hissed in a whisper. The day before, she had been training with Avalanche, and somehow, she ended up on top of the house. Lance did an earthquake that nearly topped the Richter scale, and she fell off. He started to shut up the earth, nearly crushing her, but Pietro knocked him over before he could completely close up the earth.

"I'm honestly not surprised, after what happened. You're right, though. He's been especially hard on Jenny. I think she's break up with him if he doesn't stop soon, and that'll make him worse!" he whispered back. She winced at the thought.

"Thanks for saving me yesterday, by the way," she exclaimed, smiling brightly at him. He smiled back.

"It was no problem, my love! I save damsels in distress like you, fair maiden, everyday," he said playfully, and earned a whack upside the head. Suddenly, a spike whizzed by, missing her and Pietro by a hair's breadth. He narrowed his eyes and lunged at his rival, Spyke. Jesse switched into Hotwire mode, and made a bee-line for Jean, sparking.

Hoohoo, a cliffhanger! R+R please!
