"Youichi" Sena whispered. Sena was lying down on the bed on his side when he felt Youichi leave the bed.
"I am just getting water fucking chibi" Youichi muttered back. As he left the room, Sena was worried because that was the first time in five years since they were married that Youichi called him by "fucking chibi". He hurriedly gets out of bed and heads to kitchen expecting Youichi to be there. He wasn't. Sena continued looking in the living room, he wasn't there; the dining room, he wasn't there; he checked the bathroom just in case, he wasn't there. Youichi wasn't found anywhere in the household. Trying to hold in his tears and failing, Sena headed back to his and Youichi's room.
"Why are you crying?"
Sena whipped back to the door of the bathroom (he didn't check the master bedroom's bathroom) to see Youichi standing there. He runs toward him, jumping on him and hugging him tightly. "I thought you left" Sena's voice was muffled by Youichi's shirt but Youichi understood him. Hugging him back, "You dummy, I will never leave you. You should know that". "I know! But! I can't help but be a bit insecure…" Youichi hugs him tighter, "I'm never leaving you".
*scene change*
Sena is seen in front of a gray stone. There is wind, causing fall leaves to fall. Sena's body is shaking—what of, no one knows.
"You said you'll never leave me! But here you are—dead." Sena sobs even harder. There was no one around to see his pitiful figure. Standing in front of Sena was Youichi's memorial. Nothing was on it besides his name, birth date, and death.
The cause of Youichi's death was heroic except for Sena. Yoichi died protecting him from an advancing truck.
"I love you" Sena whispers as he leaves the grave, never looking back.
*scene change*
"Mama!," A young brunet is seen running to the park's entrance. "Yoh! Don't run, you could hurt yourself" An older brunet runs after the boy. "Ah! Hahaha!" Getting caught by his Mama, the younger brunet continues squealing.
