A crowd surrounded the horrid scene happening in square of District 12. In the middle of the crowd, there was a young man tied to a wooden post. Above him on the post, was a wild turkey, held to the post from a nail in its neck. The young man's jacket had been cast aside and his shirt had been torn away. His back was covered in long red gashes. Standing above him, was a man with a whip.
The older man struck the younger one with the whip. The younger man cried in pain.
"My brother will rescue me." The younger man whispered in between slashes.
Just as he said this, a young woman ran up from the crowd, but before she could reach him, a being came smashing to the ground. The older man stopped his flogging, in shock. As the dust cleared, a man with long blond hair in amour with a red cape carrying a huge hammer could be seen.
"Stop mortal!" The strange, hammer-carrying man said.
The older man dropped his whip and ran away in fear.
"Thor." The young man muttered, before blacking out.
"Come brother. I shall take you to Asgard so you may heal." Thor told his brother as he untied him from the post.
After he was untied, Thor grabbed his brother and flew into the sky.
The young woman who had ran up to help the young man stood in shock. Then another young man came up to her as the crowd started to murmur uneasily.
"Do you know what that was about, Katniss?" The young man asked.
"Not at all." Katniss replied.
A/N So this was born while I was watching Catching Fire with a friend and I whispered over when Gale was being flogged, "My brother Thor will save me." Also if you can't tell, the first young man is Gale, the second is Peeta.
