A/N: Hi there! So, I decided to write this because I want to contribute just a little bit more to the awesomeness of Shuck! Plus, we need all the fanfic we can get till Idina returns! Basically, this is Puck's thoughts after the results of Sectionals have been announced. I hope you enjoy, and reviews/constructive criticism are much appreciated!
He should be over the moon.
But he's not. Because winning could mean losing them all over again, and he didn't know if he could handle that.
Shelby doesn't have a reason to stay anymore. But she should, he thought. Me.
He's made it very clear how he feels, and that he's willing to wait till he graduates, since that's not too far away in the future. Then, as long as he's got them with him, there's nothing he can't do.
Just look at him in Glee Club recently. He's finally found the confidence to assert himself as a valid choice for the male lead. Hot For Teacher and I'm the Only One were both for her (although he couldn't deny he had, in part, sang that song to show Santana that he still cared deeply for her), and let's face it, he had kicked ass. That confidence would only grow if he could live a life with the presence of Shelby and Beth being permanent.
But now, he could see it all slipping away. The TroubleTones would be disbanded and with the threat of Quinn hanging over Shelby's head, she would leave, with no guarantee that she would return.
Yeah, he should be over the moon.
But he's not. Because he's about to lose the two most important girls in his life, and that scares the shit out of him.

I know there was no Shuck interaction, but I just felt that with the complete lack of Shuck in the Sectionals episode maybe I could still tie in completely with the episode but make a fanfic about it.
