runs deep
as they treat eachother
like family.
Though,
when the dragons disappeared,
it caused pain
for the dragon slayers
as they had to fight
through the sadness
of losing their dragon parent.
Fourteen years pass.
In a desperate battle
between humans, slayers, and demons;
the one enemy
neither side wanted to show up,
came.
Though,
through the desperate need
of having someone of equal strength
to take down the feared enemy,
one did.
The fire dragon rose from his son
and brought the feared dragon enemy of destruction
and fought on par.
The fire dragon's child
cried to see the sight
of his dragon parent
who he desperately looked for.
Though,
with a promise between the parent and child,
they fought their battles.
The child won his,
but his friend got in the way
of allowing the fire dragon's child
to fullfill his promise
to his parent.
The fire dragon brought the dragon enemy down
with a large crash,
holding him down.
The other dragons had also come
but they were stopping the FACES
across the continent
from having magic
disappearing.
The fire dragon told one of two reasons
why the dragons hid
within their children
as it was because
they were stopping them from becoming dragons as well.
Though,
before the fire dragon could tell of the second reason,
the dragon enemy sprang up
and they flew to the sky, continuing their fight.
The fire dragon's child
desperately tried to get the book
from his friend,
only to have it being taken
by the darkest mage in the world.
With the book gone,
the fire dragon's child desperately
went to help his father
fight off the dragon enemy.
With the fire dragon telling of the second reason, he was dying.
The second reason to get rid of the dragon enemy
But seemed to have not succeeded.
With a huge hole blown through the fire dragon,
he fell to the ground,
telling his son about his joys.
His end finally came
when the dragon enemy gave out a blasting roar
and ran away soon after.
The dragons and dragon slayers
had reunited
only for the dragons to say
that they were already dead
and with the last words,
they ascended to heaven.
The dragon slayers
held their heads up high
as the fire dragon's child
promised his father
that he'd become stronger
and destroy the dragon enemy.
The goodbye that was given
wouldn't all be forgotten.
