AN So I decided I didn't really like some things in this ficlet and made it better (hopefully). If anyone read the old version and wants it, I would be happy to send it to them, but I think this update is quite a bit better
Disclaimer: I saw something on tumblr, got inspired to make this, and took the last four lines of this poem from it. If you're the one I took this from- Sorry:| The rest of the poem is mine.
Also J.K. Rowling (AKA the Queen) owns these characters
Enjoy
Rose Weasley has a problem. It's the kind of problem most teenagers have, but her situation is different (It really is).Her father, who still thinks his little girl needs to be protected (not true), hasn't a clue about her boyfriend, Scorpius Malfoy. That's not a huge deal at all, loads of teenagers have secret boyfriends, right? Yes, but here's the complicated part: Ron Weasley and Draco Malfoy just so happen to be "mortal enemies" and practically kill each other over the littlest, most insignificant things. (Did you really need that specific type of cow dung for a plant-growing potion right then? At the exact same time that Draco Malfoy was reaching for it? Really, Dad?).
That isn't even the worst part of Rose's problem. No, the worst part is the fact that her cousin, Albus Potter (possibly worse at keeping secrets than Peter Pettigrew), had walked in on his dear old cousin, Rose, and his best mate, Scorp, snogging. And what a snog it was, with little moans and maybe an, "ahhh" or two and just one, "right there Scorp-p-ius". It was quite an unforgettable kiss… which is precisely why Albus considered it perfect blackmail material.
So now she's stuck helping Albus sneak out (How is he even awake at 2 a.m.? And how did he get in the girls dorm!?), do homework (Does he really need help in Muggle Studies or is he just a lazy little bastard?), smuggle alcohol (which will eventually lead to a hangover potion she has to make), ect. She hates him (really truly loathes him). He is entirely too smug to not be a Slytherin.
Rose needs a solution and she needs it fast, because Christmas break is fast approaching, and she trusts Albus to keep his fat mouth shut just about as much as she neglects her homework (never in a million years). Not to mention that she hasn't "spent time" with Scorpius since Albus walked in on them, because all she can imagine is her family's reaction to the news.
Maybe it was time to find a way to permanently shut Albus's lips. Fight fire with fire and all that. A well placed memory charm would serve her well. Or she could get Lily to do her famous Lip-Locking hex. And James was sure to have something on Albus that would help her. She'd think of something. Albus had better watch his back, because once Rose Weasley had a purpose, not even Uncle Harry could stop her. She would definitely find a way to guarantee her secret stayed a secret and didn't create any more problems. (And it had nothing to do at all with how much she missed a certain cocky blonde who just so happened to be a fantastic kisser at all. Nope, not at all.)
Secrets
I have a secret.
Will you keep it?
Lock it,
And put it away?
Don't tell anyone,
Not next week,
Not tomorrow,
Not today.
Save it,
Don't say a word.
Not a whisper,
Should be heard.
If I show you,
Then I know you
Won't reveal,
or betray.
Take it,
To the grave.
My secret,
You will save.
Don't ever,
Tell what I said.
Cause two,
Can keep a secret,
If one of them,
Is dead.
Fin.
I feel pretty good at how that turned out :) All reviews are appreciated, even if you hated it. Thanks for reading!
