Armin ran over to the ocean as fast as he could, seeing as the excitement was too much to handle. After all these years, he could finally visit the outside world. After all these years, humanity beat the titans.

He hurriedly pulled his boots off and dipped his toes in the water. The cool, refreshing, sky blue water felt amazing. Who knew there was this much water in the world? It looked like it continued forever! Remembering his old book, Armin sat down and dipped his finger in the water. He cautiously put the finger in his mouth, when suddenly a strong yet wonderful flavor filled his mouth.

"Salty!" he cried out, throwing himself back into the sand. "It really is salty! I told you, Eren." The waves crashed over his legs, but he didn't care. His uniform was nothing, he no longer needed it. The sand was very warm, and felt nice against his skin. He never wanted to leave this place. He loved the outside world already.

As time passed by, the sun finally began to set on the horizon. Armin sat up so he could watch it disappear behind the vast sea of blue. As the sun sank lower, the sky turned beautiful shades of red, pink, and orange. He had never seen such a gorgeous sunset in his life. As the sun nearly disappeared in the distance, and the sea turned a deep shade of blue, Armin let out a sigh.

"We finally made it, guys." he whispered to himself. Tears filled his eyes as he looked down at the red scarf and golden key around his neck.

"We finally made it."
