A/N: I wrote this poem quite a bit ago and made it a tribute to the UlquiHime ship.
Basically, Orihime reflects on Ulquiorra's death.
Disclaimer: I do not own Bleach.
Forever With Me
I see you there.
And I know it's far too late.
To grab your hand.
To say my name.
And break my heart.
To this very date.
I'll miss you.
But I forgive you.
Despite the hate.
That was never really there.
But you will be.
You will be.
Forever with me.
Orihime
The small poem was written neatly in perfect script on a forest green piece of paper. And that paper, in return, was folded into small neat squares.
Orihime Inoue tied a ribbon connected to a balloon around the folded paper. A soft smile graced her lips as a light breeze stirred her ginger tresses. She lifted her head to the sky with hopeful silver eyes and a small tear rolled down her pink cheeks.
With a deep breath she let go of the paper, sending it on its long journey upwards toward the heavens. Orihime continued to watch the balloon as it floated steadily upwards. And, gradually, it faded out of sight.
An object stirred in a vast whiteness. A whiteness that was pure and peaceful. Although it may be a blank purity, beings lay in that sea of divinity that many might call Heaven.
The object seemed to float along peacefully as if taking a stroll through a park. But eventually it stopped….and the paper mysteriously tied the floating thing unwrapped itself.
"…I see." A quiet but firm voice spoke up in a monotone voice.
This time, a figure stirred in the sea of white. It stood tall and proud in its home of snowy beauty. Large wings lay stretched behind it, silhouetted. A round halo floated above the being's head.
And, once again, the Angel spoke. But instead of the previous monotonous voice, the sound was…happy.
"Thank you…Onna."
A small smile could be seen through the white, gracing the being's lips.
