An Incredible Tale of Two Realities

Cedric Dursley

A/N: This story is not your normal villain turned hero. It is more of an alternative reality story in which heroes from a different reality interact with canon characters. I do not own any characters from The Incredibles. They still belong to Disney Pixar.

Chapter 1 Prologue

It is amazing how one difference can completely change a reality. Take Buddy Pine for example. In one reality, he is rejected by his personal hero Mr. Incredible and becomes a super villain. In another, he becomes one of the youngest heroes in the history when he invents Zero Point Energy at the age of 12. In this reality, Buddy does become Syndrome but Brain Child. He becomes the youngest of the supers known to the NSA and makes quite a name for himself. Since he never develops a hero worship of Mr. Incredible, the events that occurred during the wedding between Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl never occurred. In fact, he was the ring bearer at the wedding. He remains good friends with the two heroes as well as Frozone and Gazerbeam.

As Brain Child grows older, he decides to change his name to Brain Storm with the approval of the NSA. Buddy is asked to join a team of supers that consists of Mr. incredible, Elastigirl, Frozone, Gazerbeam, and a new super discovered named Mirage when he was 16. He was also assisting Edna Mode in the developing new and different super suits for heroes. Life was going well for all the heroes in this reality until the day that The Collection appeared.

The Collection is a race of bio-organic race of metallic humanoid aliens that move from one planet to another and destroy all life on that planet to use all of that planet's resources. All of Earth's supers, both heroes and villains, band together to fight The Collection's warriors, but most of them are defeated in a major battle. At the end of this battle, the only ones still alive in the world are Buddy, Mirage, and the Parr children, Violet, Dash, and Jack-Jack or Jack as he wants to be called. They end up on an island that Mirage owns that is identical to the one that Syndrome owned. This is where this story begins.
