Midorikawa must help Hiroto out of darkness, but Hiroto doesn't want any help. Not only that, but from having been dragged into the dark made Hiroto forget how Midorikawa had actually felt about him. All he knew was his own love for the green haired boy. / One-shot / Based off of the Vocaloid song "Mozaik Role"

Dialogue is kind of out of character, but those are direct quotes from the original song. At least you get your HiroMido. uwu

Midorikawa was knocked back by a soccer ball which made impact directly with his chest. The greenette felt pain coursing through his entire body as he was now sprawled helplessly on the ground.

"This situation, would you call it love?"

Hiroto landed perfectly going straight out of his shot and right into walking towards the green haired boy, scissors in his left hand. He was wearing his Aliea Gakuen uniform and he had his hair spiked up. It was impossible to see even a hint of emotion on his face.

"Clinging tight, struggling on towards yet unknown goals…"

The redhead crouched down over his 'best friend' and tightly grabbed onto his purple shirt with his right hand, pulling him up just slightly with it.

"Isn't it fine to kill those things for good…"

Hiroto raised the scissors in his left hand as he spoke. Midorikawa felt something warm and moist land on his cheek. Without a moment of hesitation, he felt his eyes shoot open, despite his pain.

"… If it's me that you hate with all of your being?"

Midorikawa watched as tears dripped down Hiroto's cheeks. Before the redhead could do anything more, the greenette reached out his own hand and gently grabbed hold of Hiroto's right hand.

The world around them began to crumble and fade away as past lies and horrible spells were finally being broken. Now it was Midorikawa's turn to speak.

"Isn't it fine to say that we are loved?"

Hiroto dropped the scissors as a piece of the Aliea Meteorite he had been wearing as a necklace shattered. His hair fell back into its normal position.

"To be bound so the world may never but touch…"

Both of the boys smiled at one another as they now spoke in unison, perfectly in sync with one another.

"Isn't this, too, fate, and nothing more?"

Both of them intertwined their fingers with the others and both touched their foreheads together.

"Fade away…"

"Fade away…"

The boys collapsed to their knees and they both hugged each other lovingly.

"I say to our love…"
