Chris had just set off the flare on top of the heliport above the insane mansion, his reddish-brown hair blowing in the humid breeze, when the ground started to shake.

There are only two minutes until detonation! The female computerized voice said coolly.

What the hell…?! He thought, then, not even four metres away the ground cracked, and then seemed to explodeand the impossibly tall bulk of the sexless monster he thought he was rid of in the underground level of the lab jumped out of the hole in the ground, it's body deformed, with a heart pulsing outside its skin, It's lipless, grinning mouth drooling it's white, naked body and sightless eyes turned on him.

In the air above him Chris could hear the helicopter nearing, Dammit! He thought bitterly, Why won't this thing die?! He raised the heavy 354. calibre magnum and fired, four, five, six times and clicked dry.

"Shit!" he gasped, then he heard a familiar voice crackle over the radio, "Chris!" it was Brad! "Look out below!"

Chris looked up just in time to move aside as a huge bulk hit the ground where he was just seconds before.

Bless you ol' Chicken-heart Vickers! Chris thought as he looked at the rocket launcher.

There was no time to think the Tyrant creature was mere steps away from him, Chris dived for the weapon.

Raising it shakily, Careful now Chris, you only got one shot! he aimed at the monster and fired, in slow motion the monster seemed to explode as the shot hit home.

"Chris!" came two female voices from behind him, he turned around and saw Jill and Rebecca running towards him as Brad touched down.

There are fifty-nine seconds until detonation! The voice as cool as ever.

"Quick!" cried Chris "get in! move, move, move!"

They all struggled to get in the helicopter.

Great, kill the monster stay for the explosion! Chris thought sarcastically

The helicopter started to take off.

5……4……3……2……1……0!

Behind them they heard the explosion but too tired to care, they explained to Brad what had happened in that hellish night…
