First paragraph of this fan fic just for my boyfriend sam whom i hate and he wouldn't stop bugging me about it so here you go

With Sam hanging at some library, Dean decided it was the perfect time to order a pizza and watch mindless TV shows.

He'd already ordered a pizza ("It will be delivered within 30 minutes, if it's late it's free"), and was looking through the TV guide he'd sneaked off the stack in the lobby of the hotel the day before.

He was awoken by a noise he knew all too well, the noise of wings.

Castiel.

He turned around, expecting to find Castiel at a safe distance at the other side of the room, staring at him intensely, as he usually did.

He turned out to be standing roughly 2 inches away from Dean.

"Jesus Christ!" His hunter instincts had replaced his biological instincts a long time ago, and instead of taking a step back, his hand went to his lower back, the place where he usually kept his gun.

"I am not Jesus. Sorry to disappoint."

"Trust me, I'd rather have you standing here all up in my face than the freaking son of God." Dean replied.

"Thank you."

"Why are you here? Did Sam call you?"

"He did not. I am here because I need your help."

"You need my help? Why would you want my help?"

"I'll explain it to you later. It hasn't got anything to do with heaven though."
"Thank God."

"God has nothing to do with this Dean, that's what I just said."

Dean nodded and ran a hand through his hair, "I know. I just meant.. Nevermind. Also, have you realized that you are way up in my personal space?"

"Your what?" Castiel questioned.

"My personal space."

Cas gave him a look that implied that he didn't understand him and Dean sighed, "Hm, I can't even begin to imagine an Angel family reunion. Everyone all up in each other's faces. Man, that's creepy." He shuddered at the thought, "Personal space, Cas, the space around and individual in which he does not want any other individuals."

"As in you don't want me in this room?"

"As in I don't want you 2 inches away from my face. You're lucky you're short. If you were my height this would have been even more awkward."

"Should I take a step back?"

"That would be greatly appreciated, yes."

Cas hesitantly stepped back, "Like this?"

"Yes. Don't angels have personal space? Isn't if uncomfortable to stand so close to someone?" Dean asked.

"No." Cas replied.

Dean suddenly grabbed the angel's shoulders, turned him around and stepped into his space, backing the other man up against the wall.

"Not uncomfortable at all? Not even a little bit?"

Cas shook his head, "Though it is not pleasant."

Dean smiled broadly, "I knew it!"
