umm . . . here you go . . . HEEHEE ~in the hanging tree~
"PLEASE, PLEASE!" I sobbed. "PLEASE! DON'T TAKE THEM, DON'T TAKE MY BABIES AWAY!"
"MOON! HELP US MOON!" two young voices cried. They were taking the twins, the youngest. The sweetest little girls that you find in a park making daisy crows. The Whitecoats were taking them. They were only six years old.
First, they took Scar.
Then, they took Lily.
They just took my babies, Ember and Snow.
Now, I only have Sun.
They told me, they stole him away from me, a long time ago.
They are breaking my heart, they are killing my soul, I am becoming a lifeless doll.
I am becoming the weapon I was meant to be. After all, no one deserves to live, if my family is dead.
"Moon! Wake up! It's okay, we all are here," a gentle voice said. My eyes snapped open as I sucked in a breath. I looked to possesser of the voice, and saw two orbs of golden of light, and a mane of short, brillantly blond hair. I didn't have to tell him what I dreamed about, because we both have the same dream every time, only in Sun's dream, I am the one they stole away long ago. We are both 'weapons', the Whitecoats saw what happened with Maximum Ride, whoever that is, and made two of us, so that if one escaped, they would have a back up. Too bad we both escaped with a few others. I remember it well, the day we escaped.
There was a tall blond girl, and she had a cocky smile, yet caring eyes. She came with others. I watched them closely, not trusting them. The dark haired one came towards my cage and I glared at him, but I also picked up something strange. I didn't know how I knew this, but I knew that he could disappear if he held still. He looked at me with pitying eyes, and I growled at him. I heard the cocky blond tell him to start opening up the cages, he said something in reply, but soon turned back around and opened up my cage. He held out his hand to coax me out. I smirked and darted past him, the look on his face was priceless. I raced to the cage with the two three year olds I had comforted a few days ago, and opened it up. I scooped them up and then headed to the cage with a boy who was brave, yet I had seen him cry, and I had been the one to stop the tears. After freeing him, I saw the shorter blond haired boy help another girl I cared about out. She saw me and quickly headed over. I gave her the two three year olds and ran to Sun's cage. I literally ripped open the lock, and then Sun raced out to embrace me.
"We are finally free," he said.
"A bird's free spirit can not truly be captured," I said in reply, repeating the words I always useed to comfort others like us.
We returned to the others, who we had comforted before on many occassions, and through an unspoken agreement, we decided that we were a family now. We all left hell that day and emerged into a world where birds could actually spread thier wings. We silently slipped away from the rest of the escapee group, and we spread our wings, then flew away. A while later we came across a house that was secluded and looked impossibly safe. It was hard to get to and appeared abandoned. I flew down and saw that it was a fugitive bird kids paradise, with food and everything. I waved the others down and said the two words I never thought I would ever say.
"Welcome home."
