I like him, I love him. I thought as I glanced over at him, sitting two seats ahead of me in the class.

You HAVE to tell him, Rin. If you don't then he'll never know.

Well, obviously he would never know.

I hope.

Am I really that obvious?

Like, should I just paint a sign saying I like you, I love you! on my forehead? Would that make it easier? It would be all like, "I have something I want to tell you," "What?" he would say. Then I could just, like, point to my forehead.

Yeah, definitely NOT doing that.

Tell him! It'll be easier that way, and will save you the embarrassment of walking around school all day with I like you, I love you! written all over myself.

During the next day, I got up to him a total of twenty-three times but then nervously skittered away.

SING it to him! The idea appeared in my mind as I scribbled down the answer to my geometry homework.

Tossing the math textbook aside, I pulled out a slip of paper from my pocket. Lyrics flowed from my brain to my hand to the pen to the paper as I hummed.

Three hours and several pieces of paper later, I glanced down at one of the drafts. It was full of crossed out rhymes, drawing of hearts, and notes commenting things like, Rin. You should REALLY be doing your homework right now.

Homework or no homework, I started practicing singing it.

The next day, as the bell rang signaling the end of school, I pulled the piece of paper from my pocket.

Okay. Rin. You are going to do this. You are going to be AMAZING. I gave myself a mental pep talk. The worst he can do is totally run away screaming.

Now, I'm not sure who else has done this before, but I just have to recommend NOT running after him like some crazy stalker person when he leaves.

You'll get weird looks from EVERYONE. Except him, because he won't even notice.

Then, don't stalk him into the park that's in the opposite direction from your house. Even if it seems like the right thing to do, you'll regret it when you have to walk back home carrying a giant bag.

"Hey!" I looked at him.
