They're idiots. Why can't they see what happens? The first time he came to town they were instantly attracted to each other. They avoided it, over looked it, even denied it. They finally get together but he ruins it.
He ups and leaves to the great state of California. He left the love of his life to stay with his dead beat dad who left him when he was a baby. He comes back but to say 'I love you' and walk away.
He doesn't know how to her let go, which is a good thing cause he shouldn't, but he goes about it all wrong. He came back and asked her to leave her dream… everything she worked for, to live in a shoe box apartment and live in N.Y.C.
He comes back once again (yes I know, he comes back a lot but he loves her and they were meant for each other. 'He's known it from the day he saw her a couple of years ago.') and she has a boyfriend. He's a total jerk and Jess came to tell Rory he wrote a book (for her, but he didn't get to tell her) but he left because she had changed.
She wasn't the Rory he fell in love with, although he was still in love. For once, SHE came to him, at his publishing house. She just went there to see the place, get a feel for where he works, that's it, but there was that attraction again. They kissed but Rory pulled away, apologized, and went back to her 'boyfriend', if that's what you can call him. He cheated on her with a bridal party and she can't shake the feeling that he hasn't stopped.
The attraction was there. At the publishing house, at the bar, at Yale, in the middle of town, at the dance marathon, and when they first met. Attraction like that, love if you will, doesn't stay all that time for nothing. It's there for a reason.
They're meant to be together, they just can't see it. They're too proud, vain, angry, sad, scared, heart broken, blind, to see it. They're idiots. Just stupid idiots.
A/N: I hope you liked it. Its just a short little story I came up with to basically sum up Rory and Jess. Please review and don't worry, I'm working on a heart breaking and very dramatic (total lit) story with a happy ending. Don't all my story stories have happy endings? I wouldn't deny my fans now.
