It was a cool moonlit night on the Island of Sodor. Thomas and his friends were at Tidmouth Sheds-except Edward. He had to do late night shunting on his Branchline and wouldn't be back until later.

As a matter of fact, the engines were unhappy with Edward, because lately, instead of being his usual kindly self, he ended being rude and prejudiced against Harvey the Crane Engine.

"Disgraceful!" Fumed Gordon.

"Disgusting!" Spluttered James.

"Despicable!" Added Henry.

"What gave him the right to speak to Harvey that way?" Asked Gordon.

"Well to be fair you all were rude to him." Thomas pointed out.

"I know." Hissed the railway's number 4. "But of all engines, little Thomas, never had I suspected Edward would say such horrible things to him!"

Meanwhile, the railway's number two engine, Edward was returning to the sheds but as he got closer, he heard Gordon loudly proclaim his shortcomings to the rest of Tidmouth.

Poor Edward flushed with embarrassment. He didn't want to be reminded that he had been unkind to a fellow engine- and he couldn't admit to himself that he had done it and move on.

So he decided that he would find somewhere else to stay for the night.

He puffed away from Tidmouth and into the large wallows of Sudrian geography he had mastered over the years.

...

Meanwhile Percy and Thomas were worried about Edward. He was an old friend, and he had helped them a lot.

James noticed them leaving.

"Where are you going?" He hissed suspiciously

"To find Edward." Blurted Percy.

Thomas glared at his friend.

But James rolled forward.

"Can I come too?" He asked. "I'm getting a bit worried about him."

"Alright." Sighed Thomas. "I suppose it would help. Come on!"

...

Meanwhile Edward was alone on an old siding.

He felt that he couldn't go back to Tidmouth -but he didn't like the siding either.

He didn't know what to do now.

"Thomas! James! I found him!" Squeaked a voice.

"Percy?" He asked as an illuminated face stared back at him. Soon he saw two more engines coming. "James? Thomas? What are you all doing here?" He asked -feeling genuinely confused.

"We were worried, Edward." Explained Thomas.

"Look I heard what Gordon back at the sheds- I can't go back there..."

"Don't think like that Edward!" Snapped James.

"You're our friend." added Percy.

"Exactly. We want to help you Edward." Finished Thomas.

The old engine was silent for a moment.

"Well, I still feel bad about what I said to Harvey -but I can't believe I said them..." He trailed off sadly.

"I know it's hard Edward, but you have to admit to what you've done. Only then can you start to repair the damage that's been caused."
